A couple with a child became my friends for a year and they left to go back to school for his last year. It hurts to see them go since I don’t think I’ll see them again)

(Sorry for poofiness my puppy woke up and I had to take her outside and now I'm watching her) Crowtalon looked at her then blinked "i suppose when you say it like that.." He puffed up "no way my brother gets a mate before me!" Thunderpaw sighed and shrugged "i dont know, he's been vanishing left and right. One second he's here and then he's gone." He let out an annoyed huff and looked at the medicine cat. Ravenfeather gave her a nod "no problem, keep my secret." He said with a twinkle in his eyes. He chuckled and ran his paws over his cheeks. Whitepaw puffed out his chest and purred "my brother, Crowtalon, became deputy!!" He waved his tail back and forth "it was huge!" He purred in happiness. Owlfeather gave him a small wink. She wouldn't ever tell another cat about what happened, wanting to keep it to herself. "That's great, Whitepaw! Now we both have kin as high positions in the clan." Thunderpaw purred, happy for her friend. |

Adderbite laughed and hit Crowtalon’s shoulder with her tail. “You can join Frostheart and I in the elder’s den too.” At least she wouldn’t be the only mateless cat here. She found it intriguing that Crowtalon seemed jealous of Ravenfeather of all cats. She never considered Ravenfeather to be the jealous type. |

Those are lavender, chervil, and marigold,” she gestured to each one as she said them. “I’m running low on all three. Ravenfeather yawned and he stretched out. He hadn't slept in a long time and the effects were finally hitting him. He stood up "I'm going to take a nap." He flicked his tail, gently touching her shoulder as he headed to the warriors den. He curled up and slowly closed his eyes
Whitepaw nodded "i was so proud of him!" He gave a small wiggle then tackled her playfully and rolled off of her onto his back, he purred happily. "Maybe that means it's in our blood. Let's go start our own clan. WhiteThunderclan! We'll be the mightiest." He said playfully. Letting out a chuckle at the thought.
Crowtalon chuckled and shook his head "I suppose that isn't all that bad. I could handle hanging out with you two causing trouble for the clan. I can see it now, the whole clan on a hunt for the crazy elders who went hunting for bears."

Thunderpaw looked at her then he nodded as he studied the three for a few moments "okay, I got it! I'll do my best!" He purred and sniffed them, trying to get their smell. "Where do you usually look for them?" He asked, tilting his head to the side curiously.

"All three you can find pretty close to the river," Lakesong explained with a smile. "Lavender usually grows right along the water and marigold and chervil are a ways into the trees." The medicine cat stood and stretched, then gestured out of the den before heading outside. "When we find a plant I'll show you how to properly pick it."

(Totally fine I knew what you meant lol, I'm gonna be a bit poofy I'm at work but I'm 2 hours I'll be on for a bit)
Thunderpaw gave a determined nod and he followed the medicine cat. He was large for his age so he managed to keep up with warriors pretty well if he trotted while they walked but he struggled when they ran just like any apprentice. He followed her out and caught scent of his brother, he wondered where the tom was.

Ottersplash frowned when he got up suddenly. "How about we try having you put your head under water? It helps when you want to dive down for fish." She suggested. Her ears lowered a bit, slightly disappointed that he stopped leaning against her. Ratnose looked down at his paws, the water was very clear. It wasn’t muggy or rushing past him like the Crippling River. He lowered his eyes at the sight of Ottersplash. She seemed disappointed...’I’m taking up too much of her time.’ The warrior thought, “Yeah, let’s try that...” He laid back down and rested his head slowly into the water. He glanced at Ottersplasg before sinking himself completely into the clear water. With a second, unwanted memories of him being swept away in the ripples crawled into his mind. He took in a mouth full of water as he gasped. He coughed up water as he lifted his head. "Are you okay?" Ottersplash squeaked with shock when he quickly came back up. She patted his back with some force and hope to help him. "When you go under make sure to hold your breath and let out air through your nose. It'll help you stay down long." |

“I know I know, I’m sorry.” The warrior coughed up the last of the water, he felt his heart beating rapidly as he tried calmed himself. He felt a shiver go down his spine as he stared down at the water again. He began to feel dizzy as he saw the water around his paws get faster and muggy. It began to feel like he was being dragged down into the water. While it was all in his head, Ratnose almost fell to the side. “I can’t....” he muttered still staring at what was really clear calm water.

Crowtalon shook his head and he stretched "no thank you." He licked his chest fur down "though I'm sure it was very wonderful."
Ravenfeather took a deep breath. Now that he was in the warriors den, curled up and wet from the lake he felt very cold and lonely. He sighed and slowly began to dream.
Whitepaw blinked and he thought for a minute "that doesn't sound too bad. We can be super loyal and fight with pure honor." He stood up tall then he flicked his tail "or we could be Lakeclan and swim like fish" He said jokingly.

Adderbite shrugged, "Alright." She said as she straightened her whiskers. She looked around the camp, she noticed Ratnose had been out for a while. She hoped he hadn't done anything stupid. He's fine, probably hunting near that owl tree.

Ottersplash sunk into the water and opened her eyes, moving around to be in front of him. Her blue eyes sparkled with laughter at him and she hoped he wouldn't freak again.

(Ok, I'll try it again. I think I finally know how to post the pictures haha.)
Ratnose opened his eyes, he expected to see the water streaming past him but was greeted by Ottersplash's bright eyes. Part of him wanted to jump out of the water in embarrassment but he didn't want to make Ottersplash worry even more for him. He blinked, unsure of what to do. He gave a nervous smile as he dull yellow eyes met her bright blue ones.

Ottersplash blinked a few times before letting out some air from her nose, creating bubbles. She lifted her head back out of the water and breathed in, water streaming down her head.

Ratnose had enough of being surrounded by water so he quickly lifted his head out of the cool water. He stood up and shook his pelt, "Sorry." He said as water got onto Ottersplash even though she was already drenched with water.
