What are Amber's injuries?)) Lakesong looked up, looking over at the she-cat. She left Skyrunner's side for a moment and approached Ambershine. "Does her Clan know she's here?" She asked, feeling Ambershine's side gently in search of any breaks. That's a good question. I think a few broken bones in her sides and maybe a broken leg) |

Lakesong came to Skyrunner's side. The medicine cat set a moss ball soaked with water beside his mouth and laid her tail across his side. "Hailclaw is fine, Skyrunner," she assured him. "You're both going to be okay. You're back in camp, and your wounds have all been treated." Skyrunner felt relieved at the cold water against his tongue. "We were out numbered by rats," he mewed to her. "The Abandon Barn isn't so abandon right now." |

Willowpaw blinked in surprise. She and Cinderpaw exchanged a glance before they both turned and threw themselves at Sunfur. Cinderpaw went for the warrior's legs, trying to knock them out from underneath him while Willowpaw batted at his side, claws sheathed.
"We're going to win!" She announced to him.

After feeling around, Lakesong let out a soft sigh. "You have two broken ribs," she told Amershine, then looked down at the she-cat's leg. "And your leg... it's going to need to be reset. It looks like it's broken before, so I'll need to be careful. Lionfang, I'm going to need you to keep her calm, this is going to hurt her. Grab her a stick to bite down on." She positioned herself over Ambershine's broken leg. This was one of her least favorite things to do. "We'll have to tell Foxstar about the Abandoned Barn; if any patrols head over there they'll get attacked too."

Flamestep said, moving towards the shore with a slight frown on his face. The ginger tom felt guilt swell up in him when he saw her shivering and sighed slightly. "Are you okay?" Moonclaw sighed at his apprentice's scowl and sat back down on his haunches, watching her climb higher with veiled annoyance. When the expected call rang out he just shook his head in resignation and rose to his paws once more. "Would you at least listen to me now when I say wait?" he called out, taking a few steps back to see where his apprentice could place her paws. "Take a deep breath Spottedpaw and trust me. I need you to place your paws where I tell you and we'd work together on getting you down, alright?" Spottedpaw agreed urgently as she tried to find a way down. "What if I fall and break my leg?" She wailed in fear. "I won't be able to become warrior then!" |

Ambershine looked up at Lionfang, eyes round with worry. She remembered the pain from the last time she broke her leg and rebreaks were easily her biggest fear.

Moonclaw realized that the apprentice started to sound as if she was panicking and frowned lightly at her words. Panicking was dangerous and she could very well hurt herself by accident in the panic. "Focus Spottedpaw. Do you really think that I'd let that happen to you? You're my apprentice and my responsibility, I will always do my best to keep you safe. Now. Lower your left hind paw a bit and to the right. There's a knob that you can sink your claws into. Once you do that.." Moonclaw continued on talking, telling his apprentice where to put her claws and providing reassuring words when he felt it was needed.

As soon as Ambershine had the stick in her jaws, Lakesong took a deep breath. "Okay, I'm going to count to three. Ready? One--" the medicine cat forced Ambershine's leg back into place with a snap. She then placed a paw on Ambershine's side to keep her from thrashing, preventing even further injury.

Willowpaw laughed and ran underneath him to confuse him as Cinderpaw swiped at the warrior's ears playfully. Willowpaw made an attempt to knock Sunfur's legs out like Cinderpaw had, but wasn't as successful.

"Ahh!!! Oh...rats!" ambershine yelped in pain. her sides heaved with her heavy breathing as she struggled to keep herself calm through the process.

"It's okay! You're okay," Lakesong assured Ambershine. She grabbed some poppyseeds and placed them beside the warrior, then set to splinting her leg. "The leg will take a while to heal. I would predict how long, but due to the past break, I can only guess. As for your ribs... there's nothing we can do. They'll have to heal on their own." She finished bracing Ambershine's leg and sat back, exhausted. She didn't know how they'd get Ambershine back to StormClan in the condition she was in. She'd have to discuss that with Foxstar.

Sunfur ducked his head and reared back, panting. Young, energetic kits really did take a toll on you. Not that Sunfur was that old anyway. "Wow! You guys are good..." he shook himself off. "Willowpaw, you should hook your paws and pull my legs inward. It'll be more effective if you're underneath your opponent." he instructed.

"yup. Pull them in from the joints." He indicated to his leg.
"Move out of the way as fast as you can and pounce when you have the chance. I thought I taught you better, Willowpaw." Moonwing came up from behind her brother, standing tall with her chin high.
Sunfur got up to his paws, his ears twitching excitedly to see his sibling. "Hey, don't be so hard on her, Moon. We're just having a little fun. Right?" He turned to the two apprentices with an affirming nod.

"You're welcome," Lakesong replied, moving over to Hailclaw and double checking his bandages. "Eat those seeds; they'll help with the pain." She gestured with her tail to the poppyseeds she'd left beside Ambershine.

"You'll do fine." Lionfang had done what Lakesong instructed and flinched at the pain Ambershine must be having. His shoulders sagged with relief and licked between her ears lightly. "You did great."

Lakesong, out of the corner of her eye, saw Lionfang lick Ambershine's ears. The medicine cat glanced over at them for a moment before turning away, dismissing what she'd seen. "Skyrunner, eat these," she instructed, placing poppyseeds beside Skyrunner. "They'll help with any pain you're feeling."

Skyrunner lapped up the poppy seeds and relaxed into the rest made for any injured cats. "Thank you, Lakesong." His ears twitched with appreciation. His eyes fell onto Hailclaw for a moment before tearing them to the outside of the den. "I hope no one else goes out and gets hurt."

"I'm going to go tell Foxstar what happened," Lakesong said. "Send for me if I'm needed." She glanced at the three injured warriors before she left the den, heading for Foxstar's den and hoping he was in there.

Moonclaw gave his apprentice a deadpan look, moving to glance her over for any damage. "I don't know. Are you going to listen to me for now? Or are we going to have another tree event?" He asked her, relief stirring in him as he realised she was completely okay even if she was shaken. He knew they were still going to go out and he also knew that she would disobey him sooner or later. It was just a matter of time.
