Flamestep nodded and rose to his paws. A sudden thought hit him and his eyes gained a mischievous glint to them. "Hey Windbracken?" he started out, moving out of her reach. "I caught you then. That means you're it! Race ya!" he called out before exploding from his spot. He knew that movement would help keep them warmer and it was always fun to play tag, regardless of the age.

Windbracken tilted her then yelped in surprise. “Hey! That’s not fair!” She jumped up, and darted after him. She was unable to help the laughter that came bubbling out of her. “Come back here! I will catch you!” She slipped through the trees, roots, and brush.

"Never!" Flamestep yelled back, jumping on a tree root. He steadied himself for a moment before launching himself forward, landing on another root to repeat the process. He glanced back only to yelp, finding the distance between the two shorter than he thought. "Ack! Slow down! I need more room!" He called out knowing full well that it was a ridiculous request. Windbracken's laughter was contagious and the tom couldn't help but laugh with her, trying his best to distance themselves again.

Windbracken struggled to keep up with the tom cat. Her smaller frame made it easier to maneuver the dense woods, but she defiantly wasn’t the quickest. She lengthen her stride, doing her best to close the gap between them. She lept over a root, and lunged at Flamestep, front paws outstretched to reach for him. “I’m going to get you!”

It's about the NAEYC Code of Ethical Conduct. It's an interesting and important organization that is extremely useful to know and live by when working with children. My assignment is to read the code and then list three things I learned, two I found interesting, and one question. Which is common assignment as we've had a least two for each unit and should be easy to complete... however... I learned about NAEYC during my orientation with my job when I started two years ago and it's been discussed at both PPD (professional development day) that I've been to so I'm not learning anything. Which means I have to dumb myself down by writing something I learned even if I already knew it and I just feel like it isn't fair for me to downplay the fact that I actually do know what I'm doing.)
Ooh packing is no fun. What's in Utah?)

(I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’ve had to dumb myself a few times for school assignments and I never like to do it, but I always have to chug through it for the grade :/ Maybe you can talk to the teacher [is it a teacher giving you the assignment??] and tell them your dilema?
Friday is my stepmom’s stepbrother’s wedding lol but we’re staying a few extra days to sight see)

Yea there's a teacher but I don't know if it's her assignment or if she's required to give it. But I'm almost done with the class I'm not going to worry about it and just push through. It sucks and the teacher's pet side of me is upset at not getting to show off lol but it's fine.)
Oh that's exciting! My husband has a camping trip planned for a few places in Utah eventually that I'm excited for)

(Im sure it’ll all turn out great and hopefully there’ll be more chances for you to show off lol Yeah, Utah is a gorgeous state. Originally I didn’t want to go bc I didn’t want to go to the wedding but I gave in bc I wanted to go see everything. Camping in Utah must be super fun though)

Hopefully lol. If not, I'll just show off by being a great teacher myself) I've never been to Utah but I'm super excited! I had a friend growing up who was from there but all his memories of it where vague and he lived in a drab and boring part of the state so I always thought of the entire state that way but then my husband showed me pictures of things he wants to show me there and places he wants to camp and i'm so excited)

Right now, infants in a daycare which is what these current classes are about. Eventually, first grade or maybe second (I'll be certified for birth-3rd grade) I'm getting my Child Development Associates credential so I can make a bit more money while going to school. I was also recently promoted to lead teacher but can't officially claim the title until I'm done with these classes)
Lol my goal is to camp in every state! Got...two down so far lol)

(Oof I had to babysit a couple little kids who were just little demons and ever since then I just don’t like little kids anymore lol but that seems like a nice job! That’s a super cool goal!! So does that mean you’d camp in Alaska? I’ve always wanted to go to Alaska)

Lol my kids have days where they drive me crazy. It's a stressful job but for the most part, I really enjoy it) I want to camp in Alaska but it'd have to be during one of their warmer months and it'd probably be one of the last places I go. Once I have experience and all. When I was younger I wanted to go to college in Alaska. My mom was NOT supportive of that idea)

oh no! Allergies that don't surface until adulthood are awful. I can't drink dark pops at all and don't even like them that much. My favorites are Sprite and Ale81 but that's only an ohio/kentucky/surrounding states drink which means I can't get it here unless I drive a hour to Pops)

My mom's biggest issue was that it's so far from her and she would never be able to visit because it's too cold for her)
