One may walk over the highest mountain one step at a time. - Barbara Walters Moons ago, a small group of wild cats made their home in a small valley between two large mountains.
It was a misty and mysterious valley, few other living occupants other than the basic species that
thrived. Two-legs were far and few between, usually living with livestock in their large dens amongst
the trees. Here the new clan settled and called home. Sadly, after only a few generations, the clan
suffered many great loses. During greenleaf, two-legs started a forest fire on accident and ruined
acres of the forest, driving the cats from their camp. By leaf-bare, there was little the felines
could do to save their clan from the sickness that ravaged their home, and they lost many cats.
After the loss of so many, the leader of Mistclan, Firestar, decided to allow loners, rogues, and even
kittypets into the clans to help swell the numbers again, moving his entire clan deeper into the valley.
Generations later, Mistclan is thriving, but every day is a challenge to live, can you survive?

▸Herbwhisker is a short haired basic dark brown tabby tom with honey-amber eyes. He has a light brown belly, dark brown pelt, and black stripes over his body and black ears. His paws and a tip of his tail are pure white, though his paws are usually covered with dirt from digging or green from shredding plants. He looks like your run of the mill warrior, which is surprising since he's the medicine cat, but he's fully trained to be a warrior.
▸Herbwhisker is a strong muscled tom with cold eyes. He's a grump, very much so, and gets along with few cats unless they're sick. Most cats don't realize he can actually be nice since he's often seen snapping at kits or telling elders to stop being to cranky, funny words come from him. However, despite his size and attitude, he has gentle paws and rarely makes getting treated uncomfortable under his control. He feels horrible every time he looses a cat, having given up being a warrior to become a medicine cat. Originally born Darkkit, Herbwhisker was raised to be a warrior, and became Darkpaw. When he turned 12 moons old, after training so hard to be a warrior, he stood under Icestar to receive his warrior name. However before he could, the clouds opened up enough to throw moonlight onto his fur. The old medicine cat, Mudtail, told the clan it was Starclan claiming Herbwhisker as one of them. Originally Herbwhisker fought his destiny, but after taking the name Herbpaw to remind himsef every day he was meant to be a medicine cat, he trained well under Mudtail. The night he got his medicine cat name, Mudtail was hit and killed by a monster on their way home from the Mountain Edge. That's when Herbwhisker knew why he'd been chosen.

▸Redstream is a short haired solid ginger tom with a darker ginger saddleback and green-gold hazel eyes. He's lithe but strong, and fairly handsome in terms of looks. His paws, ears, and tail are darker than the dark ginger on his body, but only slightly, and theres a light dusting of white fur around his muzzle, making him look older than he is. He claims its from stress.
▸He's the basic warrior, not too impressive but not in the background neither. He's responsible, caring, and a little nosy. He likes to know what everyone is doing at all times of the day if he can. Redstream is a bit of a flirt, not really meaning to be. He just tends to treat she-cats with more respect than expected and it often comes out as if he's flirting with them when he's just trying to be a good clanmate.

▸Silverheart has a heart of pure gold. She's the mother type and spends a lot of her recent days in the nursery caring for queens and their kits. She's the clan mom and babysitter as she's nearing the age of retiring to the elders den. Under her kind heart, she's very lonely, often over looked in favor of the younger cats, and too old to have an apprentice with her going to the elders den any day now. She's seen most of her kits die, and Frostpaw is her last. The only kit of her last litter with her late name, Russetfoot, Silverheart treasures her precious little daughter.

▸Frostpaw is a white and silver longhaired she-cat with frosty blue eyes. She's average sized for an apprentice despite being born very premature due to her older mother. Her belly, paws, undertail, and muzzle are white while the rest of her is shiny silver, giving her the perfect snow camouflage with her warm long fur.
▸Frostpaw sort of lacks a personality. She's a background cat, doesn't do much other than train to become a warrior and has no ambitions past that. Maybe become an amazing queen like her mother one day and have a loving mate, but she's not sure. She feels like she's too young to be deciding what to do with her life even though every other cat's seems to be laid down for them. Frostpaw is soft, outspoken, and blends into the background well. There's been worry that she's partially deaf too.

▸Nettlefang is a long-limbed black she-cat with green eyes and somewhat jagged teeth. Her fur is short, and she has an unusually long tail, thin frame, notched ears, and a narrow muzzle.
▸Nettlefang tends to be callous and a bit ignorant in social settings, saying the wrong things at the wrong time and not particularly empathetic with the reactions it causes. While she's fiercely loyal to the clan and very protective of her sister, Amberwing, she can be hard to get along with at times due to be stand-off-ish and quiet. She dislikes small talk and dislikes being distracted from her current task, even by something more important. Despite this, she's still obedient when given orders by those higher in rank than her.

▸A slenderly built tom with long, thick fur and long legs. His coat is a light brown with darker mackerel tabby markings and white paws, a white chest, white ear tips, and a white tail tip. His eyes are a plain yellow and his left ear is shredded, along with a scar across his face that narrow misses his left eye.
▸Finchclaw is a strong and dedicated tom, very loyal to his clan and his leader. He pushes to do his best and is often the one volunteering to go on extra hunting or border patrols. Strict and reserved, he usually keeps his relationships on a professional level, covering up that he is actually a little socially awkward. It's hard to break into his shell and get close to him, but once you do you get to see a softer side of him. Once he cares deeply for someone he is gentle and loving to them, doing everything he can to be there for whatever they need, and can get quite protective.

▸Mothpaw has a big heart. She cares about her friends more than herself and would do almost anything to make them happy. She's definitely a people-pleaser and it's hard for her to say no. She's not very intimidating, she's actually kind of soft and sensitive, and if she gets mad she's normally over it quickly. Curious and restless, she doesn't like to be doing nothing for long, so she's always looking for things to keep her occupied. She's quite a bit clumsy and ditzy. She hasn't gotten very good at hunting yet and is simply too soft-hearted to be a good fighter, so her training's not going well, though she's trying her very best.

▸Dawnpaw is immature and childish, reacting sarcastically when criticized and generally goofing around whenever given the opportunity. Despite this, she still desperately wants to be a warrior, and is determined to become one someday, she just prefers trying to get there her own way. She also seems to know when to be quiet, despite first impressions, however this is usually because these situations are staring her down or frightening her silent. Though she is easily frightened, she is not one to give into that fear, and is willing to protect the cats around her until her dying breath, which is something she prides herself on, and has no qualms with boasting about.

▸An undersized dark blue-grey tom. Shaleclaw is of a lithe, angular built, if not naturally petite. With his small body and gentle facial complexion, you could easily mistake him for a she-cat, which is something he both disdains and is self conscious of. Shaleclaw's fur is medium-long, which is longer on his face, tail, and thighs, and is something he ritually grooms everyday to keep soft and sleek. His tail is long and plumed. He has small dainty paws and large ears, ending with tufts of hair at the top. His head is small, with a triangular-shaped face and pink nose. Little flecks of white splotch his face and tail. His eyes are large and are a bright blue. Shaleclaw's left hind leg is severely twisted due to a birth defect, but is something he tries to not let hold him back from being a good warrior.
▸Shaleclaw has slightly low self-esteem due to his appearance and disability, thus he strongly desires to prove himself to MistClan. He can be best described as a bit rude to some, depending on how they treat him. A grouch, if you will. Though, he is surprisingly loyal and overbearing of those he cares for. Shaleclaw doesn't exactly like reaching out to others, but while seeming antisocial he is generally open to talk with his Clanmates. He can be very negative and pessimistic, almost if he is always expecting the worst to happen. This is partly due to the constant teasing and belittlement of his defective leg he received as a young cat, which caused him to grow cold and hard. He has a tough outer shell that is difficult to break, but his small body is home to a warm heart. It just takes time to make it known.

I'm starting the clan off in leaf bare near the end, with green cough finishing ravaging the clan and Icestar is going to be the last to die of green cough.
You'll get to pick the next deputy too if wished. Since I know for a fact you're an active person xD
