Featherfrost smiled to himself at the apprentice’s protest regarding his evaluation of the weather. All things considering, the weather was nice...in that it wasn’t snowing and there wasn’t ice on the ground. Rather, it was simply a dreary day with a bit of wind chill. “You’ll get used to it,” the medicine cat called over his shoulder, turning left once they got out of the cave. “We are looking for borage, broom, and chamomile.” He said, knowing that they needed to restock on the herbs and that this would be the best time to do so, before the snow fell.
Fallowflame’s amber eyes watched eagerly as she waited for the prey to be pushed back to her. Once Silvershine had taken her first bites and it was her turn, Fallowflame hungrily took a large bite. “Mmm! It was worth the wait!” She mewed, closing her eyes as she reveled in the flavor. Once she had taken two large bites, she pushed it back to the other she cat to finish. Noticing Lichtenstone emerging from his den, Fallowflame sat up and called out to him. “Morning, sleepy head! Care to join us?”

Cherrypaw woke up with a huge yawn, falling into a deep stretch. Then she shook out her fur and stepped outside, letting the air chill her fur. She looked around, taking in the sights and sounds of the clearing. Cats were already up and about this morning. Tail in the air, she padded to the fresh-kill pile and picked out a mouse, before settling to eat. She could see Redpaw already headed out of camp with his mentor. Cherrypaw chewed on her mouse thoughtfully and glanced around for her own.
((who should it be lol))

(Fallowflame can be her mentor. Unless someone else would like the duty, since I suppose I do already have a cat that is a mentor.)

Lichenstone’s ear flicked when he heard Fallowflame and nodded. He padded to the fresh-kill pile and took a mouse, turning back to settle down next to the ginger she-cat. “Nice morning, isn’t it?” He meowed, trying to make small talk. He looked down at the mouse between his paws and took the first bite.

Fallowflame smiled and nodded, "Indeed it is." She mewed, looking outside through the cave entrance. "I've already been hunting but I'm eager to go out again later. It's chilly, but at least it is not snowing," She mewed. The fiery she-cat had never been a big fan of snow. Not only was it terribly wet and cold, but it also made it hard for her to blend in, with her bright red pelt.

“Really? You must’ve been out very early. I’m going to go hunting right after this.” Lichenstone said. He nodded in agreement about the cold but envied her thicker pelt. Even inside the camp he could feel the chill to his bones from the cold cave floor. He kept eating, trying to finish the mouse so he could get hunting to keep himself warm.

Fallowflame chucked, "Yes, I enjoy going out right as the sun is rising. The prey is bountiful then." She mewed, before standing up. "Would you like some company on your hunt?" She asked, licking the last of her meal off her whiskers as she waited for the tom's response.

"Some company would be nice." The grey tom stood up and stretched again. "Where abouts do you think we should go? Maybe not where you've already hunted all the prey might be in hiding."
