Angelwing demands that they be named after his dead mate and his brother but everyone in the clan thankfully disagrees (some, like his other kits, complain much louder than others). With her mate now actually in the Clan, Riverleap appears much more at ease, instead of solemnly announcing she is to be having kits the she-cat is excited. She will, however move into the Nursery after Rainpaw is made a warrior. Rookheart Glares at the happy dappled she-cat, Heart still rather broken from long ago. Breezefrost later comes to the medicine den, dark green eyes grave with sudden worry. “Convince your mentor to take back his position soon. We can’t do anything about Angelwing with Stormsight there, as well. Lilystem, please we are already trusting you so much. Rookheart: Salty and jealous over a girl, despite the fact his competition was killed. Heartbroken but doesn’t have the will to hurt anyone, just angry and also helpful. Feels like Angelwing’s disappointed in him.
Lilystem: Lawful Neutral
Arcticfang: Scheming Bruiser. Trying to do the right thing with horrible ways.
Breezefrost: Would rather not have anyone else die in order to set things right. (Both Arcticfang and Breezefrost are totally willing to be exiled or die for their actions.)

Breezefrost is furious at his brother’s stupidity. “Don’t you see you could hurt those we care about now? I’’ll distract Stormsight somehow, if you wish to bury your claws in Angelwing’s throat so badly.” Thrushstar orders the Clan to stay away from the stream once it’s clear that it seems to be the cause of the vague illness, that luckily does not seem to be getting any worse. Breezefrost approaches Stormsight one day, keeping wary of Angelwing. He tells him that he's been dreaming of strange things and would like to talk to him privately.
"Why not talk to Lilystem?" asks the elder.
"She doesn't take me seriously. I think she feels I just want attention."
The two exit the camp but not before Breezefrost sends a secret nod to his brother.
Lilystem, busy with Flowertail who came in wondering if she still had bellyache, doesn't notice this.

Angelwing remains his angry self as Articfang enters. “I see none of the apprentices have bothered with cleaning the elder’s den,” Articfang muses as Angelwing lets down his guard. “Assessments,” “How’s Squirrelfang and Mooseclaw, terrible choice of names.” The tom Snorts, speaking to his adopted son as if he was merely just another warrior and not the kit he had raised. “You should have honored your father and Uncle, by letting your brothers share their names with such amazing cats.” Angelwing growls, suddenly enraged as he recalls his most recent children’s naming ceremonies. “Now, I’m finally treated like your child again, I lost my eye in that battle and you didn’t even care. Oh, but this isn’t about me, you belittled and lied to children you named, because you were selfish. Because they just so happened to resemble father and Mooseleaf,” Articfang’s words are barely above a whisper but one cannot help but feel the rage radiating off of him. It does not matter if he isn’t able to time his pounce well, it is now or never... Angelwing begins to stand, he opens his mouth to angrily retort, a half shriek falls out instead. The sound is silenced almost automatically as the strained wounds on his throat rip open easily against Articfang’s strong grip. The tom’s attempts to free himself only worsens the old wound, it is only a matter of several moments before he lies limp in Articfang’s jaws, at least dying in the presence of one of his children. (and at last the last reincarnation finally dies ) Breezefrost and Stormsight have a chat about the warrior's "dark dreams". The former medicine cat doesn't relate them to be any visions and instead spends the time really talking to the other cat. After bottling up all his emotions, Breezefoot just breaks down in the presence of the older tom. He does not reveal their plans but he does talk about his insecurities. They spend almost all the day out talking. They finally return at sunset. They find the camp in shambles after their return. Angelwing's body is found in the center of camp surrounded by his mourning kin. Arcticfang and Breezefrost lock eyes and he knows what happened. The story his brother spread was that Angelwing turned mad and attacked his son, claiming he was an intruder and calling Squirrelstar to his side. In his daze, he reopened his old wounds. A fresh wound on Arcticfang's face goes along with his story. Lilystem knows the truth but does not say anything about it to Thrushstar and Mossfur. Instead, she stares at both, disappointed. Much to his continued guilt, Stormsight does not leave his side, saying that the tom is always welcome to talk about his grief. Leader: Thrushstar - A dark brown tom with orange eyes. 5 lives left. However, Squirrelfang and Mooseclaw know the truth, as they were watching from the den entrance all along. As soon as Squirrelfang and Mooseclaw discover this, they are immediately enraged, leaping and snarling at Articfang.
"How could you be so cruel!?" Mooseclaw yells. "Angelwing loved you and Breezefrost and Lilystem, as well as me and my brother! He told us that every day! All he wanted was his mate back! Squirrelstar was cruelly slaughtered, not by a badger, but by Thrushstar himself! Angelwing saw it all!" The Clan gasps in horror, staring at Thrushstar. "All he wanted was children who loved him, and we were the only ones who could see what he needed most." At that moment, a hush falls over the Clan. The spirits of Squirrelstar, Mooseleaf, Rowanspirit, and Angelwing appear.
"It's okay," Angelwing assures the Clan, stepping forwards. "We want to give you a message." He first turns to Articfang, and the rest of his kits. "I love you all so much, and I forgive you for what you did. Please, just be good warriors for me and your father. Thank you."
Squirrelstar comes forward next. "Thrushstar, I forgive you for your misdeeds. Please, lead the Clan well, and allow Mossfur her time to be leader when the time comes for you to join us."
Mooseleaf comes next. "I promise you, even if this is the end of our journey, we will lead you all from the stars. Have peace and be happy."
Rowanspirit is last. "No matter how many times I walk with this Clan, nothing has compared to my joy at seeing my brother's kits realise their destinies. I promise you all, nothing will stop AppleClan now."
With a nod and a smile, all four spirits disappear. Everybody knows that this is the end of the heroic four cats that have saved AppleClan countless times. All they have now is their children.

In a flurry of guilt and awe, Thrushstar changes Squirrelfang and Mooseclaw's names to their requests - Squirrelblaze and Mooseheart.

(the end of a great era)
Clan life is slowly turning back to normal after the four StarClan spirits showed themselves to the clan a few days ago. Everyone was wary at first of Acrticfang and Thrushstar, who were both revealed to be murderers. They are starting to regain their trust for their leader as the days pass. However, the same can't be said for Arcticfang as only his siblings seem to be talking to him.
Flowertail, who had been complaining of a bellyache earlier, discoveres that she is expecting Mudfoot's kits. She excitedly moves into the nursery. The announcement of kits bring everyone into a better mood.

Now that her apprentice is fully trained, Riverleap moves into the nursery expecting her and Dark's second litter of kits. Before she does, Rookheart quietly apologizes to her for hurting their friendship due to his feelings. She accepts it and, while it may be rocky at first, both agree to become friends once again.

Rowanstar was Angelwing and Squirrelstar’s Kit. She was also only reincarnated the one time.)

(Also the only thing Squirrelfang and Mooseclaw would know is that Articfang killed Angelwing, given the lack of evidence. Lilystem’d knowledge and Breezefrost’s involvement would not be known at all.)
