(Are any of Rowanspirit's kits still alive? Also, I vote that Mooseleaf becomes leader after Squirrelstar dies, making Rowanspirit deputy, whilst Angelwing stays in the nursery to look after the kits after his mate's death. Also, are any of Rowanspirit's kits still alive?)
A forest fire begins. As the Clans flee the territories, Dustkit is lost in the flames. Robinsweet is greatly sadenned by the loss of her kit, and Squirrelstar, Mooseleaf, and Angelwing help to get their adoptive kin back on their feet. Squirrelstar discovers two abandoned kits, and Angelwing takes them in.

(Yeah. This is my idea: Squirrelstar dies peacefully in his sleep at an old age with his mate. Angelwing stays in the nursery until he dies of old age, too. Mooseleaf finds a mate and dies of old age as Moosestar, surrounded by his mate and kits. Rowanspirit lives as the deputy for many moons, before retiring, and dying with her kits by her side. Mossfur becomes leader after Mooseleaf/star, and leads well.)

(Also while I totally agree Mossfur should be leader, she is much, much, older than Squirrelstar, Mooseleaf, Rowanspirit, and Angelwing’s reincarnated forms. She’s been alive since Sparrowstar or possibly even Birchstar’s reign. Unless Rowanspirit dies early on instead of retiring, there is no way she’s going to see the deputy role again in this life. And that is if Squrrielstar dies relatively soon.
Also I’m realizing Clawfern is dead and her brother, Thicketfall left the Clan and they had a nice sibling relationship....
Also in other news, Buzzardwing has lost his small family. His mate, Dawn is dead, their kit Loneblaze died.)
