Despite his best efforts, more of the clan get infected including Squirrelstar and himself. Thankfully, the disease does not seem fatal. It only weakens the infected leaving them forced to rest.
Patchfur comes out of retirement to assist with the epidemic. Stormsight dreams of a rare herb to fight the infection but it only grows far away.
