The multiple killings reveal to be coming from a rogue/Kittypet group living in the nearby twolegplace. A patrol is formed to drive them away but fail to do so. In the fight Mooseleaf is severely wounded and is forced to retire, Flamepaw and Mettlepaw are killed, and Froststar loses a life.

(Reincarnation just messes the bloodlines and adds more note taking for family trees. I have one last thing I can pull I’d Stormpaw’s last kit is killed though. Dying with an arc unfulfilled is annoying but it happens. Lol)
