(I think that they wouldn't really know about that, and since it's sort-of-distantly-related and they can't have biological kits, it wouldn't matter.)
During the conversation between Songstar and Tall-leaf, Hayfang was listening in, and promptly runs off to tell Squirrelheart. Squirrelheart carries out the procedure, and after a long conversation, all four cats agree to tell Songstar what they did. After explaining, Songstar is disappointed in Hayfang, but agrees that Mooseleaf and Angelwing should be allowed to stay. However, no other cat is to know of the procedure.

The rest of the Clan is amazed by Mooseleaf and Angelwing's reappearance and demand answers. Songstar calls a Clan meeting, and Tallleaf concocts a story about a complicated concept StarClan puts to use rarely, where the fallen aren't dead, they just visited StarClan for a while for reasons known only to StarClan. The Clan reluctantly accepts Tallleaf's explanation. Songstar encourages the CLan to give thanks that their warriors were back and makes Flickerpaw a warrior to take their minds off of everything. Squirrelheart is ecstatic.

Larksong and Squirrelheart have fallen sick with a strange illness Tallleaf has never seen before. Tallleaf is extremely worried and is hunting for a clue as to what could have caused it. Cindergaze has suddenly become exhausted and fretful, and her belly is rounding suspiciously. Nobody notices, as everyone is caught up with Larksong and Squirrelheart. Only one cat does: Saltfire. She catches Cindergaze alone and confronts her. Cindergaze confesses that she has become pregnant with a rogue's kits and was waiting to meet him. Saltfire promises secrecy, but reports to Songstar the next day...

A hunting patrol goes out into the forest. Soon after the patrol discovers Flowerpaw with another cat on the territory and he returns to the camp. It is revealed he faked his death all those moons ago because he fell in love with another HollyClan apprentice, and they boty ran away to be together. Although as time passed Flowerpaw missed his home, and he convinced his mate to return to AppleClan with him. Songstar allows them both to rejoin the clan, but they must finish out their apprenticeships.
