Thurshpelt is alright, but he's nowhere close to making my top ten list.

Thurshpelt is a loyal friend and it's great how he helps Bluestar even if he can never be her mate. He's a great cat, but sadly he's not my top ten favorites, but he might make it one day.

Thrushpelt is great, he's so kind and patient, and definitely an amazingly supportive friend, but he's just not interesting enough to me to get on my top 10, if I even have one!

Thrushpelt is pretty chill and it was sweet for him to be the "father" of Bluestar's kits. It shows that he really loved Bluestar. He also wasn't that pushy or clingy which I also appreciate. Though I find him to be a bit unrealistic as not many people will do what he did and I wouldn't hold it against him if he did not adopt the kits. I also find him to be a bit boring as his only real role is to be a "love interest" for Bluestar.

Aaaactually, he didn't really get rejected. He and Squirelflight weren't even together. She still wanted to be friends, but once he realized she didn't return his feelings he started ignoring and guilt-tripping her. Just throwing that out there. **Sorry for liking your post multiple times; the button wasn't cooperating with me.

If they were together he wouldn't be i mean i hate ashfur and rejection is no excuse for what he did but still

The nice thing about Thrushpelt was that he was a nice guy without being a Nice Guy™. :'P
No, but seriously, I really, really like Thrushpelt. When I was younger, I went through this one phase where the only Warriors book I would read was Bluestar's Prophecy, and I was always struck by how Thrushpelt never pressured Bluestar into being with or confiding in him when she didn't want to. It made me sad when Bluestar mentioned him dying toward the end of the book; I think it would've been nice if he had survived to witness Firepaw join ThunderClan or even beyond.
tl;dr – Thrushpelt is one of my favorite Warriors characters due to the way he quietly accepted Bluestar's rejection of his feelings & understood her need for privacy regarding the identity of the kits' father. Go, Thrushpelt! ^0^

I agree we should stop mention him like that. Like of course Thrushpelt would want to pretend to be the father and mate of his crush regardless of the convenience he provides. The Ashyfury only affects the hind quarters. Specifically the knees...

Maybe you misunderstood? Idk, but the way I see it Squirrelflight and Ashfur were just hanging out together, before Ashfur decided that they had to be mates. Again, I should have been clearer, although honestly it's up to interpretation, pretty much ^^" I see your point though.

Rejecting just puts me in mind of loud/rude/hurtful reactions for some reason? I get your meaning though.

I'm sure I'm the only one who can say he's my favorite XD Can't help it, gotta love the background cats. Nah, but seriously, he's been my favorite ever since I finished Bluestar's Prophecy. Maybe that's just me and loving awkward cats with awkward crushes... ɾ⚈▿⚈ɹ

Go, Thrushpelt! ^0^ SAME I read that book like six times xD He was so respectful of her and her feelings it just makes me so happy <3 because sometimes in warriors, it can be unclear why or how cats fall in love, it's kinda just like a love at first sight thing. But with Thrushpelt, you can actually see his love based on his actions, it's amazing

He's just such a pure cinnamon roll. You can tell how much he truly loved Bluestar, to the point of playing along as the father of her kits to help maintain her reputation in the clan. I can only think about how painful that is. If Misty, Stone, and Moss stayed in Thunderclan, I know they would have adored him as a father, and I know he would have doted on them like a real father would have. It would also have been fun to see Oakheart and Thrushpelt develop a a subtle rivalry when it came to the kits (though more on Oak's part after feeling like his fatherly role got stolen from him).

honestly, out of all of Bluestar's ships, Thrush x Blue is my favorite. he's so patient and kind, and doesn't push her or pressure her. i really would've liked to see the kits stay in ThunderClan and be raised by Thrushpelt, honestly. Mosskit wouldn't have died (most likely) and they could be a big happy family, even if the relationship with Bluestar and Thrushpelt was only platonic.
