That's awesome! ^^ I've been trying to design a city for a little project of mine, but all I end up with is row upon row of coloured boxes (apparently I'm too lazy to draw sloped roofs). I'll have to try looking at more references. (Roofs are so fun tho get you an A-Frame or a Dutch or a Queen Anne Victorian) Lol ignore the ‘hawk actually really loves architecture’, but another good resource is google sketchup models! You can rotate them to get the right perspective! |

Ooh nice! I’ll definitely try that out. ^^ I guess for now (until I improve or can make/find a model), I will make distant views vague in design (when there is like 50 or 100 houses in the frame) and get more specific in my design when there is a close up (less than a dozen houses). Maybe. We’ll see what I can come up with and how much time I have. Depending on what feel I go for in the city, I may or may not use fancy roofing. But I will throw it in somewhere. For sure. :3 I think it might slowly improve throughout the comic as I keep working at it.
