Hailclaw is a tom cat of tall and muscular stature, giving him the appearance of being tough and warlike. His glossy coat is gray, with eyes of light blue. The only variation in his pelt is the white fur that covers his back paws. Hailclaw has no living relatives. His mother, Whitefur, died of a greencough outbreak, and his father, Troutpelt, fell into the gorge on a hunting patrol while chasing a squirrel when the river was covered with ice in several places one leaf-bare. Hailclaw now has an extreme fear of the gorge, and discomfort near the water, but he can conquer it to provide fish for the Clan. Hailclaw is extremely impatient and stubborn, which can create a lot of bickering. The only time he is willing to hold his tongue is when an authorative figure is watching. The senior warrior has always admired his leader, deputy, and medicine cat, and always dreamed of aspiring to deputy or leader. He is careful to impress those who rank above him.Hailclaw is dedicated to his Clan, and would never dream of betraying his Clan.
