(hmm I'm not sure if Arctic really makes any more sense for a Clan name. Sorry D: and yeah either could definitely try to woo her XD if you wanted them to already be mates, I think "Arcticfang" would make more sense personality-wise, but either one could definitely try to win her heart.) I'll have them try to woo her, both of them! Just to make it more interesting lol

(haha yeah that would be great. And sorry but Arcticfang is also not really any better than Winterstrike. I don't think "arctic" would be a term Clan cats would be familiar with either :( I'm sorry to be difficult. Maybe a prefix like Blizzard, Cold, or Freezing? Sorry D: )

Haze simply didn't understand the importance of her dream however she told the leader about it anyways. "Well I had a dream three moons ago about this lake with my sister telling me that this is where I needed to be. Ever since she had been guiding me every night in my dreams on how to get here. I thought it was silly and that I would never find it because it was a dream. But the lake is exactly how I saw it in my dream, it even has the little island!" Haze just explained it all the best she could and when she finished she realized that she must have sounded crazy. "Really it's nothing. I'm so sorry for the intrusion, I will leave right away", and the small tabby rose to her paws to leave. Pineclaw listened to the shecat and was surprised. "It's sounds like dreams that Starclan would give", he whispered to Rainpuddle. Could Starclan really have led this shecat all the way here for something special? The russet toms mind races with the possibilities, this sort of thing never happened and he wasn't quite sure how he felt about it. ((Here are my last posts that Goldenstar needs to respond to. ))

Slatefrost lay idly in camp, a sparrow tucked between his forepaws as he plucked the feathers from its body. He hated the taste and texture of feathers- especially being of ShadowClan descent- but there was remarkably little in the freshkill pile to choose from. His green eyes narrowed as he pondered, noting that he was never so lazy as an apprentice to let the pile dwindle to a few scraps. The black tom let his gaze flicker around camp, searching for an apprentice to give a good verbal lashing to once his meal was done. Hastily, he finished his preening and bitterly began to dig in, all while watching his clanmates with sharp eyes. (lol im sorry if you didnt want to reply to my post or anything but!! i didnt quote the first time so im just gonna repost it this way in case i did it wrong the first time) Heronstrike picked at a particularly small rabbit. She was just finishing the meal, trying to reason herself into thinking the taste wasn't so bad- WindClan had survived off it for generations- maybe there was just something about it she was missing. To distract herself, she'd settled on thinking about swimming. She was hoping that soon enough, she would be put on a patrol to go out towards the old RiverClan territory. She was far-removed enough from the original Clan that the thought of trying out swimming in the Lake still frightened her a bit, but a dip in the stream would be a welcome refresher as the weather turned warmer. As her thoughts returned to the camp around her and the unfortunate, stringy taste of rabbit, she felt eyes on her. Turning to look over her shoulder, she saw Slatefrost's eyes scanning the camp like he was searching for something. She rose to her paws and stretched, then picked up the last of her meal and padded towards him. She set it down a few tail-lengths away and asked, "Looking for anyone in particular?"

Nothing took Slatefrost by surprise; he noticed Heronstrike padding up immediately, and his pelt prickled irritably. He was unused to others willingly choosing to spend time with him, so as she settled down with her rabbit, his suspicions rose.
Though wary of her, he found no reason to lie or be dishonest with his intentions. Besides, there was little he loved more than dissing other members of the clan- the incompetent ones, anyway.
“I’m searching for the lazy oaf who decided that this-“ he gestured to his bird, which besides being feathered and not to his tastes, was also incredibly small and tough looking. “-was appropriate to put on the fresh kill pile.”
He shook his head, not caring if Heronstrike viewed him as crass or not. Slatefrost was old enough- and therefore entitled (so he thought)- to say as he pleased. “We’ve been amalgated for how many seasons, and some of us are still inept at catching decent prey. You’d think that four territories would be adequate hunting grounds for these cats, but no.”
The tom glanced at Heronstrike’s rabbit, and let out a scoff, “I see your food is no better looking than my dreadful bird. See what I mean? These apprentices really test my ire.”
(When I rp Slatefrost, just know I’m not being mean to any of you personally. He’s just like those cranky old people who complain about everything on Facebook, lol.)
The water of the lake lapped at Piedfeather’s belly fur uncomfortably, but the patched molly let it slide; it was nice to be able to play in the water of the lake, something she wouldn’t have been able to do if the clans hadn’t come together. Sure, ShadowClan lands had access to the lake, but the island camp meant there were lots of stones to balance on, and made it more safe.
Still, she was like a fish out of water. She learned the basics of swimming, but never really put much effort into it. Now she was bored and wanted to play, despite being a warrior for half a season. Piedfeather bunched her hind leg muscles and leapt, landing a few feet away with a huge splash and a loud squeal of delight.

((I've always like the prefix Viper for a shecat makes them sound so fierce))
Leopardfrost had been wondering aimlessly around the shoreline of the island just trying to pass the time untill the deputy ceremony. He had been on the dawn patrol this morning so he wasn't due for another patrol any time soon. As he was investigating a crevice the white tom heard a loud splash and quickly looked up. Not to far away the white and dark brown pattered tom recognized Piedfeather in the lake. Not thinking that she had hurled her own self into lake and assuming that the young warrior had slipped and fell, Leopardfrost quickly bounded over to her to help her out of the water in case her swimming skills were not adequate enough for her to get out on her own.

(noo i get you completely! he actually sounded a LOT like my mean grandmother just there lololol)
As put off as Heronstrike was by the way Slatefrost put it, she did have to give it to him- after this long, it should have been a little easier for some cats to catch better prey. "Yes, maybe we should ask Goldenstar to have a discussion with their mentors on sniffing out prey that's a bit more..." She pawed at the underfed rabbit before her. "Well, you know. Edible."
She tugged a few dry mouthfuls free and after she had eaten those, she said, "I really would prefer a bit of fish right about now. I was hoping I'd be sent out on a patrol near the stream, maybe I could catch a couple frogs along the way as well."

(soooooo sorry guys. The couple times I've actually been able to work on things my the forums keep messing up for me- have they been doing that for anyone else? They've been doing it pretty much daily for me lately, like not loading correctly and stuff?- and besides that I've been really busy. I'm leaving tomorrow to be out of state for two weeks so... yeah. Anyways, here's Goldenstar's response for now. I will try to disengage my characters from things for the time being after today so that if I can't be on for a bit you all can easily go on without me. I will try to keep an eye on things in case anyone has questions, and I'll reply where I can, but it'll be spotty for a bit.
Viperpaw is great! I'll add her in in a moment.)Haze simply didn't understand the importance of her dream however she told the leader about it anyways. Rainpuddle looked between his leader and the younger she-cat, uncertain whether he himself believed her. After all, she could have easily fabricated the story after seeing the lake... but why would she? Honestly, the idea that she might lie seemed just as unlikely as the dream itself, leaving the RiverClan tom uncertain of his opinion.
Goldenstar's thoughts were much the same as she listened to the story with a frown on her face and her tail-tip twitching with thought. Pineclaw was right; if it was true, it certainly did sound like StarClan. But this young she-cat and her littermate were not Clancats, presumably never had been, and were likely unrelated to any. Did rogues and loners receive messages from their deceased kin the same way the Clan cats did? Or did she make it up? Or was it just a coincidence? Perhaps she just had strange dreams, and some of them just happened to be kind of like the lake?
"No, I don't think you should leave just yet," Goldenstar finally meowed, extending a paw to block the loner's path. "If what you say is true, then you must have been led here for a purpose. If you are lying...." she let her voice trail to a warning growl, looking the young she-cat sternly in the eyes. Then, confident she got the idea, she continued. "We have in our Clan a cat who is trained specifically to understand these sorts of dreams and messages. If anyone can determine whether yours is real, and what it might mean, it would be him." She gestured for Haze and Minnowstep to remain where they were for a moment, and then padded a few steps away, flicking her tail for Rainpuddle and Pineclaw to follow.
"What do you think we should do?" she murmured quietly. Though she knew she should really be displaying her leadership abilities to the Clan, this seemed like too strange a situation not to take the council of experienced warriors before making a definitive conclusion.
"There's always the possibility she's lying," Rainpuddle put in quickly, glancing over his shoulder at the stranger. "I don't see why she would, but if she is then the reasoning is likely dramatic. I would say be cautious, but don't alienate her." Goldenstar nodded, noting his input, before turning her attention to Pineclaw for his opinion.

(also, new subplot idea. The sickness really hit young cats hard, killing off most of the Clan's apprentices and all of its kits. So the Clan is really wanting for young cats right now, meaning that they're more likely than usual to accept outsiders- like Haze and other young loners/rogues/kittypets that might come along, as well as queens with kits.)

Pineclaw followed Goldenstar and listened to her words. The russet tom thought for a moment before speaking. "I know she is a stranger but her dream is as if Starclan.. or her own ancestors were leading her here. I think we should let her stay with us." Thinking of an idea he quickly added, "We could appoint a strong capable warrior to keep watch over her as if maybe he was her mentor. We keep are friends close and own enemies closer. So if she does have some sort of alterior motive then we will be able to catch it before anything can happen." The tom didn't expect Goldenstar to agree with him but she did ask for his opinion and he gave it. "Besides the sickness had wiped out most of young cats in the clan and we could use the help with hunting and patrolling our borders."
Haze stayed where she was and looked to Minnowstep. She was so unsure about what was happening. However she kept faith in her litter mates advice to come here so there must be a reason for her meeting these cats as well.

She was so unsure about what was happening. However she kept faith in her litter mates advice to come here so there must be a reason for her meeting these cats as well. Goldenstar considered his suggestion for a moment. "Hmm. You're right that we need more apprentices...." She cast a quick glance past the two toms to where the young outsider was waiting. "Still... I'm not sure that inviting her to the Clan so easily is a good decision. We're not certain that her dream means anything, and we don't know what she wants. Even if her dream is prophetic, we don't know that she has any desire to stay now that she's found the lake." She paused for a moment, forming a plan in her mind. "We won't take her to camp just yet- it's better that she doesn't know where it is until we know more about her. In the meantime, you two see what you can find out about her, besides the dream. If she wishes to stay, we can set up a den for her out here somewhere, until we feel comfortable leading her to camp. If not, she can be on her way and there will be no harm done. While you do that, I will go speak to Smoketail and get his opinion on the dream situation."
(yeah, definitely feel free to make more characters ^^ I would say to stagger their arrival, though. I don't want there to be like 3 different loners all showing up at once hoping to join. Unless they're in a group together, then it could make sense. Having barn cats and stuff who are already somewhat familiar with the Clan but haven't tried to join YET could also be good. Then we can kind of skip that "earning the Clan's trust" phase since the Clan already knows who they are to some degree.)

((yeah that sounds like fun! Maybe since I haven't really Rped with Leopardfrost and Snowstrike they could be barn cats at the Horseplace. They will go by Leopard and Snow... Or should it be Frost and Snow. And then after they join and have a ceremony they can get their warrior names Leopardfrost and Snowstrike.))
Pineclaw nodded agreeing with Goldenstar. "Your right. It might not quite yet be the time to bring her into the camp." Happy with the leaders decision he looked back over to Haze and Minnowstep. "Im sure that after a bit of training she would make a great warrior. Her determination to travel so far and to have survived the trip alone really does say alot about her", the tom added.

Name: Graypelt Gender: Tom Age: 61 moons Virtues: Fairness & Bravery Ancestry: ShadowClan Relationships: open to relationships Appearance: A short furred gray tom with a white underbelly, chest and muzzle and three white paws. On his tail you can just see slightly darker gray ringed tabby markings, though they are not visible anywhere else on his pelt. Both his eyes are a very pale green in colour and he has a very pink nose. Personality: Graypelt is a rather mellowed out cat most of the time and is rather easy to get along with and can often be found lazing in some corner of camp. But many cats say that he is not scared of anything, always willing to dive headfirst into any kind of situation, often without thinking about it very clearly beforehand which has caused some problems. But he is very fair thinking, always willing to give cats the benefit of the doubt before judging them for something, which does mean he is maybe a little too trusting of others and blind of some of their faults. History: Clanborn Pic:
Name: Patchpaw Gender: She-Cat Age: 8 moons Virtues: N/A Ancestry: Thunder/Wind Relationships: open to relationships Appearance: Her pelt is a patchwork of light ginger and gray tabby like markings across her back, tail and head, the most prominent colour of her pelt is her white legs, underbelly, chest and muzzle. Her eyes are a muted green. If you were to look at her, it is quite clear why Patchpaw was given the name she was as a kit, though she could have very easily been named for her size as well as she is also rather large for a she-cat her age, though it does help with being a strong fighter. Personality: Patchpaw is a rather friendly and energetic she-cat, always willing to try and talk your ear off no matter your ancestry. That kind of thing doesn't really matter to her and she's more than willing to get along with just about anyone. But she can be quite a pawful to try and control and she maybe enjoys running around the place causing trouble more than she should. But she is dedicated to learning to be the best warrior she can be and will always hang eagerly off of any advice you give her if she thinks it will help her get better. History: Clanborn Pic:
