Chester began thinking hard, Have I heard that voice before? It's kinda computery, so- Oh, what the heck... He turned to face Anthony, fixing him with an appraising look, "Haven't seen anyone like you around here," he said calmly. He still had the throwing knife in hand, although it was resting along his wrist, still in a position to be thrown. "What brings you to Gotham, archer?" He asked, calmly still. Chester tried to keep himself in the loop with the heroes and villains and where they stayed, he knew that Green Arrow and the other arrows stayed in Star City, so he found it strange that one would be in Gotham.

Diner? What was that again? Maybe she would recognize it when they got there. Besides, it's not like she was not going to eat. She smiled at Maisie and nodded. "That sounds fine to me..." She stood up and stretched herself out a little bit. She was a teensy bit sore, but nothing enough to even mention. It wasn't like she didn't feel sore after every single training session with the League. They were pros. Sometimes they tended to forget she wasn't. "Can you lead the way? I don't want to get us lost..." That was something she'd done many times already. Maisie nodded, following suit and standing as well. She'd been thinking to herself about Athena's marks, and not in a rude way - she'd been wondering if her magic could do anything to cover them up. She was sure she could do something - even if it was a temporary fix - but she didn't think it would be easy. She'd have to ask her mom about it - maybe she could surprise Athena with it at some point. "Yeah, I can lead the way, no problem," she says with a nod, her scarab already giving off directions that she already knew. She nodded to Athena to follow, and she headed off towards the exit to the park. "What's it like, being with the justice league so often? Do you get to go on any kind of special missions?" She asked Athena, not wanting to pester her with questions but her curiosity winning over. {maybe like they go eat and then some crime happens and they go together to take care of it or something} Chester began thinking hard, Have I heard that voice before? It's kinda computery, so- Oh, what the heck... He turned to face Anthony, fixing him with an appraising look, "Haven't seen anyone like you around here," he said calmly. He still had the throwing knife in hand, although it was resting along his wrist, still in a position to be thrown. "What brings you to Gotham, archer?" He asked, calmly still. Chester tried to keep himself in the loop with the heroes and villains and where they stayed, he knew that Green Arrow and the other arrows stayed in Star City, so he found it strange that one would be in Gotham. Anthony let his bow drop to his side. He still had it loaded, and it would still be easy to shoot him, the only real reason he had it at his side was to show that he didn't want to just break out into some random fight. Anthony sat silent for a moment after the guy had finished speaking, debating what exactly to say. "I'm looking for an old friend, one that's a little tricky to find," he finally said simply, dulling down his explanation a lot. Sure, you could call a brother who betrayed your family a "old friend," right? Well, he did, and he didn't plan on explaining it much better to some random guy on a roof. The only reason he said anything at all was because the guy was obviously a regular in the area, he might know something regarding his brother. "What brings you to this roof? Unless you just have a normal routine of dressing up in an elaborate costume and going on rooftops, to, watch the city,"

Athena followed after her, sticking as close as she could without making Maisie uncomfortable. When she asked about the Justice League, she shrugged her shoulders a bit. "We just train really. Someone comes by, we train, they leave...I haven't actually been on any missions with them..." She looked down. "I'm...not exactly ready for a real mission anyways..." After a pause to think, she spoke again, "I guess I went on a patrol with Nightwing, but nothing happened..."

"So you're with the League, right? Or are you a freelancer?" He asked out of genuine curiosity, he'd never seen an Arrow out here, well- From what he could tell, this guy was an Arrow. He had the right equipment, probably the right costume, and he wasn't from around there. Chester folded his arms, still looking him up and down. He'd always been jealous of people in the League, they had an organized system, training. All he had was classes he snuck into and equipment bought with stolen money, well, stolen money that was stolen.

Koa blinked at her next words, looking a little confused. He couldn't help but knit his eyebrows together as he tried to understand how exactly it worked. When she offered to show him, he thought about it for a second and nodded. It sounded pretty cool, after all, and he wasn't going to probably understand it very well unless he actually saw it. Koa, being his usual idiot self, hadn't even really been thinking much about the changing part until she brought it up. He snorted and facepalmed slightly, mostly to hide the embarrassed look on his face. "I hadn't even thought about that, honestly," he says, laughing again and looking back up at her once his expression was a bit more composed. "Uhm, well, you say secluded place, there's lots of those, I think I'll just let you pick where we go," he says, shrugging and giving her a grin, pushing absolutely any thought related to her changing in front of him out of his mind. He mentally face palmed some more, snorting out loud to himself again. Mickey tried to keep a straight face when Koa flushed with embarrassment, smacking the palm of his hand to his face, but she couldn't and let out a soft laugh. "Sorry, I had to say something in case this was misinterpreted," she snorted. Hopping down from the pier and into the soft sand, she peered up at him for a moment before waving him along. "Follow me," she told him. Once he was following, she weaved through the crowded beach to get to the parking lot. Parked in the back was her car; she unlocked it with her keychain and tossed her beach bag in the back. What was hidden in a console-space behind the cushions (in a section between the backseat and the trunk) was her lantern. She took her ring out, slipped it on, and charged it for a second. Then she hid it once again and shut the car. "Okay, you think we should do this on the roof?" She asked, nodding up to one tall building nearby.

Maisie nodded to Athena in understanding, although just the thought of even getting to train with the justice league was exciting to her - it may not be to someone who did it every day. "Still, that's really cool. I'd be lucky to get five minutes in a room with one of them," she grumbles, not meaning to sound jealous of Athena, more like irritated that the league seemed to never have time for anyone besides a few select heroes. "Was that patrol with Nightwing cool? What was he like?" She asked, blinking over at her friend, not wanting to continue complaining. She was sure she'd get accepted into the justice league some day - or at least she hoped so. Her dad was, and that was bound to give her a little leverage at least. She nodded to Athena that they had to make a turn, leading her through it as they continued.
Anthony was a little wary at his reply, just a hobby was a really dismissive answer, and a little suspicious, but he didn't comment on it. At his next question, if he was with the league, he stayed quiet again for a moment, thinking of how to word it. He was technically old enough to join the league, and had been invited into it by the league themselves, but he'd declined. He wanted to just focus on finding his brother, not deal with a bunch of justice league duties along with that. So, he had a place on the team when he wanted it, which would be as soon as his brother was in jail. "I'm a temporary freelancer, I suppose you could say," he said with a shrug. "I've got some personal business to take care of before going off on any team," he added, explaining himself a bit better, but not exactly saying anything about the league in particular. The last thing he needed was for this guy to be a villain, and then think he has some inside info on the league and try and find it out or something. "You look a bit familiar. Some type of bat knockoff?" He asked, looking over his suit. "Sorry bird."
Koa just snorted again in reply, shaking his head to himself. He might not be human but he was such a boy, and it was very challenging to get ideas out of his head once they were already there. He breathed a small sigh, shaking his head again. He hopped over after her, landing softly in the sand to the point where he hardly made a mark. He found himself glancing around at all the people as he walked, just watching their reactions to something simple like a few people walking past. Humans were just really... different sometimes, and it was just really interesting to watch them sometimes, as strange as that sounded. He blinked back over at her as they reached her car, finding his eyes drawn all over the place. Sometimes he acted like a child, his eyes and brain just focused all over the place. When she spoke again, he focused back on her, blinking a few times as he repeated what she said in his head, not having been paying quite complete attention. "Roof. Yeah, sounds good," he said with a nod, glancing up to where she gestured. He liked any exuse to be up high, not getting to fly very often could be quite annoying, especially when back home walking was more rare to see than flying.

Mikayla nodded and headed to the tall building away from the beach. It was a good walk over, but it wasn't too long when they slipped into the back alley between the buildings. "You wanna fly up?" She asked with a glance over her shoulder as she grabbed a bar on the fire escape ladder, pulling herself up a few rungs. "If not, then follow me," she added, biting a small smirk as she faced the brick wall, climbing up. They were relatively hidden, and they even would be more hidden once on the roof, so if he did decide to fly, he wont be seen.

Koa grinned when she asked if he wanted to fly or not, and he just laughed. "Yes." He replied simply, his eyes already focused on the top of the roof. His eyes glowed green for a few moments, and then in a flash he was gone, the only indication to where he had gone a flash upwards and the loud noise of him skidding onto the roof. He moved to the edge of the roof, letting his legs dangle off the edge as he flashed a bright smile down at her and a wave, his eyes still glowing and his hair giving off an even more orange aura than usual. After a few more seconds the color faded away and the only green in his eyes were his irises, the only indication that he had ever flown at all being his now incredibly messy hair. He watched her climb up the roof at a slow pace, comedically groaning and moving so that he was dangling himself upsidedown off the roof like a little kid on a playground, his hair getting even more messy.

"Well pretty sure a lot of heroes are named after some kind of animal. My cover name's Crow," he informed him. "So what does your friend look like? I might've seen him somewh-" he was cut off by a phone ringing. Thought I turned that thing off! He thought angrily to himself, "Hang on," he mumbled, digging around in his pocket for it. It was an old track phone, an inexpensive one that he kept on him to call the cops, or his dad to give an excuse for where he was. And, as he's expected, it was his dad. He took a deep breath, answering it. "Hello?" He said in the most casual voice he could muster up. "YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE HERE FIVE MINUTES AGO!" Boomed a very much audible Penguin. "Sorry, got sidetracked. I'm heading there now, bye," he responded before closing the ancient phone. "Sorry, I've got somewhere to be.." Was his only explanation, Penguin's voice would have been very audible, and probably easy to identify. This guy better not have super hearing, or else I'm dead..

He watched her climb up the roof at a slow pace, comedically groaning and moving so that he was dangling himself upsidedown off the roof like a little kid on a playground, his hair getting even more messy. Mikayla didnt mind taking her time, because in a moment she'll be able to do what he can do: fly. So she made sarcastic comments and being funny as he jittered and acted as a child. Once she was by his side on the roof, she playfully gave him a soft shove, enough to make him jump but not fall off. "Alright," she said as she went to stand in the middle of the gravel roof, and she faced him for a moment. "It's kinda weird at first, but..." She faded off, shrugging slightly. Here goes, she thought as she fished her ring from her pocket. Slipping it on, she took a moment to breathe, then whispering an encouragement to herself. Once she was ready, and he was paying attention, she did the usual T pose, which instantly turned her suit on. No changing needed, her current clothes are basically hidden as she suit is put on by the ring -- once it's off and such, she goes back to her original outfit, back to normal. But for now, her fleshy-like glowing green suit covered her entirely, looking like a form-fitted suit than anything. It let off a slight green aura (would be glowing at night) around her. Her brown eyes turn to a stark glowy white, surrounded by a green domino mask. Her hair was still put into the high ponytail, and it was weightless in the green aura. Once the suit was on, she was picked up from the ground, hovering slightly from the roof. This all happened in a matter of ten or so seconds as she turned things on, and once it was over, she hovered slightly and glanced at Koa for a moment, biting her lip. "So...yeah," she said, gesturing to herself.

Athena tilted her head, wondering why Maisie sounded so irritated. She hoped it wasn't her fault. It's not like she had chosen to be the League's pet project. Without any memories, she'd basically been helpless. She just thought they were being kind when they offered to train her. But if one thought about it, it was like they were checking to see just how dangerous she was, while at the same time making sure she was on their side. Batman already had a way to take her down, no doubt about it. She quickly realized Maisie had asked something else. "The patrol? It was alright...he just showed me around Bludhaven...Nightwing was really nice...He wanted to do it again sometime if he wasn't busy..."
