Tigerflight followed suit and followed Snowhawk down towards the camp. His mind was spinning about seeing Silver and receiving help from a kitty pet. "Snowhawk..." He meowed as they landed. "What just happened?" He asked, hoping the older warrior would have an answer.

{Sorry about this, but I won't be back on until Tuesday or Wednesday because of Family Stuff. This is a young clan and I apologize for the inconvenience. I will be back though }

Smokefeather blinked. "I never thought about her." She said thoughtfully, "She's trained an apprentice, and her straightforwardness is perfect. I think." She paused. "But..." SHe tried to think of a reason not to appoint Skullfire, but she found none. "Alright." She said, "I think she's perfect." EchoStar thought for a few more moments before smiling. "I believe she'll do great as she has a lot to give the clan. When I pass I know she'll make a great leader too." She then stood and stretched before brightening up. "Well. Shall we go do the ceremony then? I want it to be a surprise though so I'm not going to tell SkullFire." ((WARNING! WARNING! A medicine cat needs to be present as I hope to rp EchoStar loosing one of her lives! This happens because of a fox!)) Okay I can do that- Timeskip to moonhigh?) "Okay." Smokefeather nodded calmly, "I think you've made a good decision. The ceremony should be held at moonhigh. I'll prepare." She sat up and quietly padded out of the den, tail swishing happily.

Ravenfost saw her mentor leave the Leaders den happily. "What's going on with you?" She asked curiously. "Were you aware that Tigerflight had moved our herbs and replaced them with dry stems?" She asked, hoping that she would do something about it. "This is the second time this month and it is getting quite annoying." She looked pleadingly at her.

She flicked her apprentice's ear with her tail. "I'll talk to them later. I was just talking to Echostar about the new deputy," Smokefeather smiled, "We've come to a decision. Now, Tigerflight always pranks. Don't let them get on your nerves." She said. She walked into the medicine den. "Oh well, if it happens again I can talk to Echostar about it if you want."

EchoStar padded from her den into the moonlight, her fur shone under it's light. Gazing around she saw SmokeFeather and nodded to her before padding to the large boulder at the center of the camp. She bunched her muscles and sprung cleanly onto the top of the boulder. She then took a deep breath and spoke. "Let all cats old enough the stretch their wings join here under the moonlight to hear my words!" She said it loudly, hoping to wake her clan.

Skullfire padded out of her den after the other warrior, curious as to what Echostar may want to tell the clan. She smiled a bit as she saw her younger sister Smokefeather sitting in front of her den, listening attentively. She probably knew what Echostar was going to say, but Skullfire didn't want to prod.

SnowHawk followed after SkullFire padding over to sit right on the edge of the growing group of cats. The moon shone enough light tonight for him to see his leader and he noticed a stressful look cross her features before it left and her features were settled once more.
---
RainWater woke with a start and stood up, stretching out her old bones. She may be blind but she knew how to get put of her den from her nest and made her way out of the den. She couldn't see the moon but she could get a feel for around what time it would be. She tried to make her way toward the group of cats but her sightless eyes made it hard.

She tried to make her way toward the group of cats but her sightless eyes made it hard. Skullfire smiled at Snowhawk lightly. "Hello Snowhawk," Skullfire said dryly. Although all her responses were dry. She still wasn't entirely over her anger so her replies mostly seemed blind. She looked back at Echostar as she impatiently waited for the meeting to begin. She sighed, why did Echostar always take so long to begin her gatherings? Is it wrong to ship SNowhawk and SKullfire? Yes, light, it is. stop it now. Okay sorry just talking to myself back to the roleplay )

No. It' not wrong. *evil grin* hehehe))
EchoStar jumped off the boulder when she saw her mother having trouble and helped the elder to make her way to the group. When RainWater was safely seated, her blind eyes gazing at her daughter blankly, EchoStar turned and jumped back onto the boulder. She shook her fur out and then stood tall, head and tail high. "Cats of DragonClan. Under this moon tonight I am here to appoint a new deputy!"

She looked up at the clan leader, her torn pitch black wings laid at her side. They quivered. What if it was her? She shook the thought away. Hoping got her where she was. Rejected by her own mother. Drifting away from her wise sister. Stuck as a boring warrior, being deputy just out of her reach. She looked at her paws. She knew it wouldn't be her.

Hmmm))
EchoStar took one more breath and closed her eyes before opening them. They shone bright with certainty as the moonlight hit them. "I say these words before StarClan, that the spirits of our ancestors may hear and approve my choice. The new deputy will be," she took a pause and locked her eyes onto SkullFire. "SkullFire."

"SkullFire." shipping had happened in my head ahh sorry xd. Oh and I'm trying out some new styles don't mind this...) The white and grey tabby she-cat jerk her scared head up, "Me?" She mewed, surprise and amazement were laced into her voice. "But why me?" She asked. She didn't know why. She looked to Smokefeather. A silent understanding passed between the two sisters. "If that is truly you wish..." Skullfire's voice wavered. But her last words were firm. "Then I accept."

EchoStar nodded her head and a smile graced her features. "Everyone, I expect you to not be to hard on SkullFire for the first moon. She will have to get use to her position before anything." She then turned her gaze back to SkullFire. "Do you have anything you wish to tell the clan?"

She then turned her gaze back to SkullFire. "Do you have anything you wish to tell the clan?" Skullfire gracefully stood up, unusual for her body frame. "I..." She took a deep breath. "I want to thank you all. And I... I know I'm young, but I'll try to be the best deputy for all of you." She looked around, her pale blue eyes taking in all her clanmates, most looking at her with either envy, happiness, or loyalty. As for the jealous ones, she wouldn't spend much time on those. "Echostar," Skullfire started. "I hope to live up to your legacy and be a loyal and great deputy." Her voice echoed with truth and loyalty. Her heart lifted as she saw her clanmates around her give her approving looks. She looked up at Echostar once more before dipping her head to the leader.
- Smokefeather watched from afar. She had known the outcome of the ceremony, but she had never seen her sister look so... normal. Her sister had always been the type to jump into things without thinking. She had been aggressive and outgoing, but her attitude today flipped all Smokefeather's thoughts about her upside down. She would have liked to congratulate Skullfire with licks and happiness, but she thought better of it. She should wait until after the ceremony. She knew her sister probably felt awkward about the leader's first words. Most deputies didn't have to have special treatment, and she hoped this wouldn't set Skullfire on another rampage of anger and resentfulness. Smokefeather flicked her tail as she padded back into her den and uncovered the smokey feather from inside her nest. She breathed it's scent in. "Does this mean something?" She wondered aloud.

SilverPaw just huffed and turned around. Neither EchoStar or SkullFire are suited to lead this clan. They'll only be it's demise. He padded into the apprentices den and laid down, wrapping his tail over his nose before falling back asleep.
