I've always wanted to get to know the WCF community better but I never really knew how to approach it and just as I was warming up to things the forums banned me rip Haha, I like that! I can talk more later but I gtg to eat dinner now heh Alright, see ya then. What's dinner for you tonight? I had a few bites of tortellini+sausage while I was late heading to the theatre, and that wasn't enough, so I raided the concessions stand. I tend to talk a lot about theatre when a play's going on, so you're lucky to catch me right at the end of one, so you won't have to read all my gossip about the show. And I appreciate the not using sarcasm as much, what you mentioned above. Due to a lack of facial/voice cues, I tend to take everything on the internet literally, unless there's a /s after it(though 90% of what I say is some form of joke, I'm such a hypocrite). I went to a nice restaurant and got some shrimp and it came with some garlic bread and vegetables. Ooo, you saw a play? I'd love to go to a play but I never really look into it. What was the play you saw? Yeah, I recently learned of the /s tag and now try to use it when being sarcastic not around friends (who I think can tell when I'm sarcastic heh)

Oh, I'm jealous. That sounds really good. Especially the garlic bread.
Well, I was working in the play, technically. I do lights for my school+the community theatre. Still saw it: the lighting booth's the best seat in the house. Regardless, the play was 12 Angry Jurors. You might've seen the movie, 12 Angry Men, in school. I know I saw it in my creative writing class, and my brother saw it in his law class.

I'd love to try doing lights for a play but most of the time you have to be pretty on-gaurd at all times so you don't miss a cue. Hell, I saw one of my friends' plays and there was a grand total of 3 lighting cues and 2 music cues in a one hour time frame and the booth still managed to mess up. But the lighting people help make the magic happen which is highly appreciated. I've heard of it but I've never seen it. I actually don't watch too many grayscale-era movies, I should get on that.

Yeah, it's a difficult job at times, but so rewarding. The first play I did lights for was Cinderella. It was amazing and so fun(except for the transformation scene which was literally satan). If you're able to, you should try to find a place to work with. If you mess up, and it's not something major, like a blackout in the middle of a song, no-one really notices. And if they do notice, they don't know who to complain about. Does your school have a theatre program?
Sometimes the style of movies/TV of that time is a little hard to swallow, and the effects are really funny, but some of the stuff from then is really great. The Addams Family, for example. I also watched the Munsters a lot when I was a kid.
Well, I'm still technically a kid, but when I was a smaller kid.

I agree. I use sarcasm myself as a barrier. The bitter truth is that it is incredibly hard to make friends, so I just make myself seem as if I do not care to hide that fact. Ah, psychology.
Tbh though I would rather have dry humor and sarcasm instead of plastic smiles and unbearable cheerfulness.

honestly i don't get why people dislike you. i think you are a lovely person and whenever i have seen you around you seem so cool but me being me (anxious) i am a little scared to approach you to talk to you, but that's the same with everyone so don't worry i don't like it when people treat you like some kind of 'legend' instead of an actual person and if anyone gives you any crap i'll stand up for you

I've seen you be rather rude to a few people, but overall I think you're a nice guy who's rather misunderstood.
