She ran over to the leader, "There have been reports of-" She stopped, "Are you okay?" She asked, worry prominent in her voice. “we have a bordering clan my ansestors never spoke of” the leader said to her deputy. |

"What?" Cloverbreeze bounded over to Thornstar and Ravensong, who were looking serious as they huddled together. Her eyes rounded when Thornstar's last remark assailed her ears, and when she saw the scratches on her face. "Thornstar, are you all right? What happened?" she meowed questioningly, while leaning forward to sniff Thornstar's scrapes, which, thankfully didn't look that serious.

Smokefeather poked his head in behind the deputy. "Is there anything I can do?" He asked hopefully. He had always wished he could be a warrior, but he knew he could not, as StarClan themselves had told him he had to be a medicine cat.

"All those herbs are good for infection, but we only need one. Marigold is best. I want to you to fetch some, and chew it into a pulp, then I'll show you how to apply it to Thornstar's face. The scratches aren't bleeding anymore, so we don't need cobweb. A good wash and that marigold poulticewill be fine." |

Smokefeather nodded and trotted out of camp, the wind racing as he barely touched the ground, his paws quick. Marigold scent wafted into his nose as he found a patch of the healing leaves. He tore off some herbs from the stems. He raced back into the medicine den, chewing the leaves into the pulp. "Gothb sombth." He said, mouth full of herbs.
