Twice, though it was only like a few minutes apart. Needless to say I’m not going to want to try and eat teriyaki food for months.

It is, but it’s also what made me sick at first I thought I just overate but when I was still sick like 3-4 hours later I figured something else was up

Food poisoning? Yikes.
I’m not feeling that great either. I can’t decide if it’s bad allergies, the beginning of a cold, or both.

Also I finished Squirrelflight’s Hope early this morning and I couldn’t fall asleep for at least another hour. I had a super hard time getting comfortable and that was also when I began to feel worse. Thoughts on the book: The way the Clans acted (except for SkyClan and half of ThunderClan) was frustrating. All they cared about was kicking The Sisters (the “rogue” group) off of some land that they were going to leave in a few moons. Plus their leader was pregnant! I get that the Clans were super edgy after dealing with Darktail and making a place for SkyClan, but their obsession was fox-hearted.
Leafpool and Squirrelflight’s sibling bond was the best part of the book. They were some of the few cats who were seeing any sense, despite Squirrelflight’s kit fever. Leafpool’s goodbye was genuinely heartbreaking, and I teared up a bit. (Then again, I’ve always liked Leafpool. Her personality reminds me of my mom’s.)
Keep some tissues around for SparkLark. Larksong’s death was also hard to read and one of the best written scenes of the book. Sparkpelt’s depression after his death was also pretty sad, but also understandable.
The StarClan scenes were decent, besides the soon-to-be infamous kangaroo court against Squirrelflight and Leafpool. They were trying to keep them out of StarClan through a bunch of hypocrisy. I’m beginning to think that the whole of StarClan is corrupted somehow. Maybe by what’s left of the Dark Forest, since it was stated to be crumbling?
Although I’m complaining a fair amount, SqH falls in somewhere in the middle of my ranking of Super Editions. The emotional scenes were excellent, there’s some callbacks to earlier arcs, and I believe that there’s a point to the Clans being jerks (even if it made me mad).
PS: Yes, there’s some Dustpelt content, but it’s mostly in the manga.

Aaahh I want to click that spoiler SO BAD but I woke up sicker than I've been all week and I can't sit still to read for long periods of time because I can't breathe. I'm about halfway through, hopefully will finish it tomorrow morning. You know I'm sick when I realized that A. I forgot to get the paperback Crowfeather's Trial at the bookstore yesterday (me forget a Warriors book?) B. I didn't feel well enough to go to ANY of the bookstores in town to get it today, and C. I haven't finished the book about a cat that one of my actual cats is named after. I do appreciate that as soon as I sat down to start the book, my real cat Squirrelflight came and got in my lap and sat there until my husband got home from work (then she had to go beg for food, because, you know, priorities).

Turin not Torino some of that spoiler is me angrily ranting. There’s not much to see, lol. I really wish that I didn’t have to go to class today. I just keep feeling worse, especially since I started having body aches. But I don’t like skipping class.

I have been very fortunate not to have seen spoilers so far. I'm staying 100% away from WG until I finish the book.
I hope you feel better soon, and that the class goes by quickly and painlessly

Turin not Torino I wish I had the fortitude not to click on spoilers. I think the last Warriors book I didn’t know a lot about before reading it was Thunder and Shadow. When I was at Barnes and Noble yesterday, I literally flipped to the back of the last book of the Three Dark Crowns series and read some of it. It’s just two lecture classes, so hopefully I can zone out a bit if I have to. The second class is typically boring for me though, so I’ll be fighting to pay attention in it.

If I was smart, I'd add Thunder and Shadows to my TBR list. XD But nope! Everything else is on the list instead. I'm reading the Magician and looking up historical characters instead.

Rανєη'ѕ ƑƖιgнт It's hard for me to not click some of them, and I sometimes am interested in seeing what blogclan is about (I think that's what the site with the authors is called) but I'm adamant about enjoying the story as I read it. I hate when people post spoilers in the thread titles before the mods see it (there's one over there now called "f- StarClan" that I assume is about something StarClan does in this book, and I can't even believe the mods have left it for so long considering they posted a bit ago that you couldn't use that word, even if you * out letters. I'll find out tomorrow I guess.

That's still there? That's been up for 3 days and still hasn't been spoiled. o.o I accidentally clicked on it and it's all spoilers but has no tag saying so. Don't go there.
Edit: I couldn't find it. So maybe it was caught?

Turin not Torino BlogClan is Kate’s site. I don’t have an account there, but from what I can gather, the users there seem younger than the ones here. I was also surprised when I saw that thread title, but it’ll make sense to you later. mintedstar/fur I’m having that problem with the first Wings of Fire book. I actually have it checked out from the library, but I’ve been too distracted to start it.

Just did what I did with some of my books ... Keep it out from the library for a solid 6 months and just kept checking it out again. XD
I have Runemarks on my shelf now. It hasn't been there that long. But the book before it was on the shelf for 6 months. I finally got to read it and return it. And it took me two days to read because I couldn't set it down, whoops.
Wings of Fire is really good. So far me and my sister are keeping on top of the new releases.

Finally finished Squirrelflight's Hope as well, and here's my response to it: First off, Dustpelt content is ALWAYS appreciated. I wish I had seed more of him and Ferncloud together and happy in StarClan though.
The court thing was a joke. What cat in that court HADN'T lied to their clan at some point or another, big or small? Yellowfang + Bluestar = All that they accused Leafpool of.
I did tear up a bit at Leafpool's death. It didn't hit me as hard as some of the past deaths, because I knew it was coming and how. That goes back to my dislike of spoilers I guess.
Larksong was a different story. I forgot he wasn't in The Broken Code, and the fact that he actually died shook me a bit. It's a shame too, because I would've loved to see him and Sparkpelt develop into more of a timeless couple like Dustpelt/Ferncloud or Brackenfur/Sorreltail.
I fully expected Millie to die in this book. They addressed that she was getting weaker, but I wanted to see Graystripe's reaction.
The attitude of the other clans over the Sisters needing a moon to leave was ridiculous. Even human landlords give you 30 days. They couldn't hunt on land that clearly worked for them in decent weather one more moon? If the moon passed and they still didn't leave, then start to worry, but definitely not overreact as they did. I expected ShadowClan to be portrayed as the impatient villains like always, but I expected better of Mistystar, and it doesn't start Harestar off on a very good note to me.
I'm guessing Tree's Roots will be about the Sisters now. I think their whole anti-tom attitude is bizarre, but different strokes for different folks, I guess. And how come the other clans couldn't see them as a different type of "clan", I mean how are they that different from the Tribe?
Ok, I'll stop now. I need to get some sleep anyway. At least I managed to make it to the bookstore to pick up the paperback Crowfeather's Trial that I missed the other day.

It's hitting her right now... not the eye of the storm or anything, that looks like it will stay east of her, but lots and lots of rain
I called her in the morning to see if she was evacuating or anything, and she said she was staying and riding it out
She also acted like talking to me was the absolute last thing on earth she wanted to be doing, so hopefully she'll at least text me in the morning to let me know how bad her flooding was (it's inevitable that her yard will flood, I just hope it doesn't get in the house)
