Mercury replying to ♥𝒵𝒪𝑀𝐵𝐼𝐸𝒢𝑅𝑅𝐿♥
He had a vague idea of what this she-cat was trying to do, and it amused him, to some degree. Mercury allowed himself to settle comfortably on the boulder he'd been standing on, flattening his belly to it and watching through narrowed eyes. His tail waved back and forth lazily, an unconcerned movement that suggested that he didn't quite care about what this cat had to say. What could he say? He was comfortable where he was, and he didn't care if he had to leave.
"Nope," he tilted his head back a little to take in the sun. "I ate earlier. From the scents and the amount of animals I've seen, I'm sure you could share more than a morsel, my friend."
Bluerabbit replying to dawn
To be honest, the warrior wasn't sure where this was all coming from. He listened patiently, narrowed eyes focused ahead of him. Did he need comforting? Not really. Though he was grieving, Bluerabbit was rather confident that he wasn't losing himself, and he was very confident that he would be okay. He just needed a little more time; Poppytail was giving him space, and that was appreciated. But aside from his family circle - he realised that he hadn't really interacted much with others. Perhaps there were personalities that he'd missed, and so he wasn't sure if this was odd of Softfeather or not. Regardless, he rolled his shoulders in a shrug.
"I remember Thornpaw," he had a rather keen memory; it was often more of a curse than a blessing. "And I appreciate this, but I'm not losing myself. I need time to grieve; not only has Whitefox been lost, but we have lost Sagestar, too. It's natural to wish to mourn those lost, and sometimes it takes a little more time."
He twitched an ear and stood up, arching his back in an elegant stretch.
"My brother was a noble warrior who will be remembered. I am not sad for him anymore." his words were truthful, but that was a fairly common thing with him.
It ran a little deeper, he supposed, than just losing his brother. He lost his best friend, he lost his partner-in-crime; he lost a cat who had never judged him where others had. The one who had believed in him, the one who'd praised his ability to adapt - who'd promised him that one day, they would be a leader-and-deputy duo more powerful than any other.
But that was a lost wish, now. Whitefox was gone and nothing could replace that; no other cat came close. Yes, he had his sister - but that wasn't the same. They were siblings and they talked from time to time, she tried to support him but in the end, they weren't that close. It was nothing more than a normal sibling bond and while he appreciated that, it wasn't wha the needed. Bluerabbit didn't need others comparing their situation to his, either; he understood that it hurt to lose a sibling, but perhaps some forgot that he and his brother hadn't just been with each-other for six moons of their life, they'd been there for thirty-six.
He was okay, though. Surviving, pushing on every day. The tom knew that his brother was probably happy in StarClan, watching down on him. Bluerabbit knew that he would be okay; it would just take time, and if he was allowed that time then he would be right as rain in no time. He just wanted to be able to gather his thoughts.
"Sometimes you need to learn to find yourself instead of giving up," he gave a little shrug again. "It's not up to others to find yourself; they can help, but if you can't help yourself then you will make no progress."

Flamepelt - MoltenClan Camp The warrior’s bright emerald eyes blinked open, almost instantly closing again as sunlight shown straight in them. However, Flamepelt forced his orbs open, his jaws parting in a yawn. After a few moments, the tom dragged himself to his paws, stretching down into a bow. After waking himself up, Flamepelt trotted out of the Warrior’s den. Emerging from the den, the feline allowed his eyes to sweep over the camp, taking in every cat gathered around camp. He had slept in today, and instantly embarrassment flushed through him. Flicking his tail nervously, Flamepelt padded towards a shadowed area of camp, lowering himself to his haunches.

Awesome! Thank you! ))
Briarsong laughed slightly, "Truthfully, we are not scarce on prey during this time." she looked at the Tom, understanding by his movement that he cared not what she had to say. She sighed and moved to sit down "Well, I suppose if you're going to be spending time here you should know there's a rather aggressive fox in the territory, one which is already accountable for casualties."

Ashstar and Ghostpaw replying to flamerune
Returning to camp after checking that their surroundings were secure, he realised, with some annoyance, that he needed a border patrol. Ashstar was not one to miss duties; but he would admit that he wanted to have a few moments to himself to rest after his journey. Whatever, he thought, ears twitching and gaze scanning over the camp, I can lead this patrol.
With his tail, he gestured to the ever-quiet Ghostpaw. The apprentice approached him with both respect and nervousness, head ducked as if he'd done something wrong - which, honestly, Ashstar doubted.
"Border patrol," he told him softly, and got a nod in response. "Wait by the entrance of the camp for me, I'm going to get another warrior and we can go out as a trio."
As obedient as ever, the long apprentice trotted to the entrance and sat, tail curled over his paws. Not once did he speak nor did he make a noise; he often wondered if it was a conscious effort, as he'd heard the apprentice speak a few times when prompted, though it took some effort. He waited a moment before he glanced over the warriors in the camp. Poppytail seemed frustrated, likely due to her apprentice being out - and Hollystrike was dozing fitfully in the sun.
"Flamepelt," the leader approached the ginger tom calmly, stopping short just in front of him. "I'm running a border patrol with Ghostpaw, would you like to come?"
Mercury roleplaying with ♥𝒵𝒪𝑀𝐵𝐼𝐸𝒢𝑅𝑅𝐿♥
"A fox," he repeated, a yellow gaze turned upward. He laughed under his breath and shook his head. "Worry not, little Clan cat; foxes do not disturb me as I do not disturb them. I do not have a home to protect, and I have scented it. I don't think it's here," he glanced to the corner of his eye to the volcano; but it was subtle, hidden. "So, for now, I am safe. Is there anything else, or were you here to lecture me on intruding upon your territory?"
Truly, Mercury was rather relaxed.

Flamepelt Flamepelt lifted his head, pinning his ears back as Ashstar approached. Dipping his head in respect, Flamepelt listened to the leader’s request. “I would love to come.” He meowed, pulling himself to his paws. “Are we looking for anything in particular?” He inquired, tilting his head to the side. He looked around camp, his eyes bright.

Ashstar and Ghostpaw replying to flamerune
With the request (or was it a command? He felt like it was the former, but he couldn't be sure) accepted, the tom tilted his head and gestured for Flamepelt to follow before he padded towards the entrance himself, gait rather relaxed, all things considered.
"Just checking the borders and remarking them," he said. "We should keep a check for the fox's scent, but that isn't our focus. The further away from us she is, the better. It would be wise for us to remain away from her scent."
Ghostpaw's ears perked up as Ashstar approached, and the apprentice stood rather quickly. Even at his younger age, he stood a little taller than Ashstar; it promised a larger cat than he, which wasn't entirely unusual. Ashstar wondered if Softfeather would mind them taking her apprentice out; but considering she wasn't here to talk to about it, he doubted it mattered.
"We might run into the hunting patrol, but I doubt it. Our route should be away from theirs, if they're focused on the high-prey areas," he turned his head to look over his shoulder at the warrior. "If you'd like, you can hunt along the way to help keep our stocks up. It's up to you."

considering the nature of the fox, they probably won't run it off and as such one of them will likely get injured; this is the same fox that killed sagestar and whitefox, and is planned to stop leafpaw from finishing his trial thus leading to him in the elder's den. im chill with it, but as long as you're aware of the risks ^^

Briarsong looked at the Tom, narrowing her eyes slightly, “It’s not for me to decide whether or not you are to be sent away or welcomed.” She stated, her voice unwavering. “Though, as you seem to pose no threat I see no point in immediately sending you off, it’s a decision my leader will make.” She stood up and began to stretch, her claws scraping the rock below her. “Though, if you are staying, I’d like to know what to call you.” She smiled, in an attempt to be more cordial.

oof, i'll reply to you now zombie
i think it's nice to try to establish dynamics, but there'll definitely be plots in the foreseeable future ^^ aside from the small ongoing plot (the fox one), it's always nice for people to suggest some; a prophecy, a sickness, dramatic romance - etc. they can run into the fox; they just won't get out unscathed

Mercury roleplaying with ♥𝒵𝒪𝑀𝐵𝐼𝐸𝒢𝑅𝑅𝐿♥
The she-cat's attempt at getting a name from him did not go unnoticed; Mercury's lips twitched a little into what could potentially be perceived as a sly smile, albeit a subtle one. He considered his options for a moment, before he slid down from the boulder he'd been laying on, paws kneading the ground to rid of the numbness that had settled into them.
"Well, have fun talking to your leader," he sounded amused at the very thought of that. "I am known by many names, and yet I also have none," a lie, but a smooth one; he seemed as honest as could be while saying it. "I think that I am going to go for a walk. It was a pleasure meeting you, Clan cat, but I am rather busy."
He waved his tail and began to trot away calmly, in a slow, lazy gait.

Emberpaw yawned as she carried her prey back to camp, angry that all she could find or hunt was mice. She dropped it in the fresh-kill pile, yawned, and looked around in search of Leafpaw, hoping she had got back before him. Though secretly, she also searched the cats for Ghostpaw.
She sighed, as she didn't see him yet.

Steampaw returned from his patrol, a wary look on his face. The gray tom was usually bubbly, but he thought it best to lay down for a while. Maybe he should tell Ashstar about the rogue scent....or he could wait and see. Steampaw stretched, his whispy tail curling behind him. Slowly, he lowered his heavy body to the ground and sprawled his legs.

(Let's just avoid the fox for right now, maybe wait until there's a few more warriors on patrol to run into it so no one gets like severely hurt.) Softfeather To: @borderline
Softfeather felt an odd emotion bubbling in her chest. Was she...angry? No, she never got angry. She tried to shake the feeling off, but to her horror, as Bluerabbit kept talking, the angrier she grew. She'd only been trying to be nice, and it felt as if the tom was patronizing her. To think, she'd actually opened to Bluerabbit, something she never did, and he essentially disregarded everything she said. True, maybe she read his emotions wrong, and he wasn't all that upset about his brother, but that didn't mean he had to act like she was wrong. All she ever wanted to do was make others feel better, but she always said the wrong thing, and no one seemed to understand that all she was trying to do was help. Just as Bluerabbit had stopped talking, she hissed, "I was only trying to help!" She spun around, snatched up her mouse, and headed back toward camp. She felt embarrassed almost immediately about losing her temper, but there was no going back now, and she certainly wasn't going to apologize to the blue tom. She walked slowly toward camp, keeping an eye out for the fox. Fortunately, she didn't see it, and she made it back to camp safe and sound. She threw her mouse on the fresh-kill pile, which still looked low, and searched around for another cat to take out hunting. One who wouldn't make her feel like everything she said was wrong.

Ghostpaw roleplaying with 𝖘𝖆𝖚𝖈𝖎 𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖌𝖍𝖊𝖙𝖙𝖎
It was at his leader's subtle command that he turned and headed back to the camp, a rabbit in his jaws. With the scent of the fox zigzagging here and there, it was hard to tell where it was; as such, it seemed to be wiser for two fully-trained cats to go out and be able to split up to escape rather than have an apprentice to take care of. This wasn't much of a bother, really. Ghostpaw entered the camp and trotted over to the fresh-kill pile, setting his catch down before he glanced around, ears perked up.
After a few moments, he padded over to some shade and sat down, beginning to groom himself. As the day began to progress, the heat became more; and he was both cursed and thankful for his light pelt. On one hand, it didn't absorb heat - but on the other, it meant that it was best for him to keep to the share. He'd had sunburn on his pale ears before, and it was a little frustrating to deal with.
Now settled into a comfortable position, he was content to wash his pelt with keen attention.
Vixenpaw roleplaying with 𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖛𝖊𝖗𝖘𝖎𝖑𝖐
Waking up late was probably Vixenpaw's forte. She rolled over in her mossy nest and stretched her legs up into the air, before she stood up and shook herself out. She took a couple of moments to lick down her fur before she exited the apprentice's den and let her gaze sweep over the cats of MoltenClan. One day, she told herself, you will be leader. Vixenstar is a pretty cool name.
But those were hopes and dreams for a much later day.
Her keen eyes caught sight of a fellow apprentice - Steampaw - and she approached with a little hop in her step. Without waiting for an invitation, she sat next to him and twitched her whiskers.
"Hello, fellow apprentice," she greeted, glancing over him briefly before she leaned forward. "Have you had any interesting adventures today?"

To zilong (Vixenpaw) Steampaw soaked in the warm sun, it's rays filling him with comfort. He turned his thick head towards Vixenpaw, and purred with delight. "Hello, Vixenpaw." his eyes narrowed. I have to tell someone... The medium furred tom stood, his muscular legs easily stretching. "Come with me." he murmured, and started off towards a solitary spot in camp. He turned towards the slender she-cat, and lowered his gaze. "I scented unfamiliar cat on the border earlier. I couldn't decide if I should tell someone."
