(Sorry, things are still hectic IRL! I will be RPing either today or tomorrow!!)
(Edit: It's been 5+ pages since I last RP'd and I see a lot has happened. Does anyone mind giving me a super quick catch up and telling me where my characters can jump in? Or, videocassette, if you wanna continue where we were with Frostpaw and Cherryflower, we can. Sorry for the trouble!)

(I think it's still cool to continue what we were doing. The overall timeline hasn't passed as far as I know. If you want me to repost my reply, I can.)

Roosterpaw nodded, starting to trot in the direction he thought it was coming from. As soon as the scent started to become stronger against the competing scents, he followed it faster until he spotted the plants with the familiar spiked leaves. "There!" He chirped, his tail high. “Excellent!” Sweetleaf purred, trotting to keep up with her larger apprentice. Her nose was filled with the pungent scent of Timberclan’s scent markers, causing her lip to curl in distaste. “Grab a mouthful, but be sure to leave the roots so more can grow.”

Roosterpaw, wary of what Sweetleaf had told him, padded over to the plants and cautiously plucked leaves off of them, afraid that he might bite off more if he wasn't too careful.

Frostpaw have a little trill of excitement as he and Hopspaw approached the warrior. "Hi, Creekheart!" He mewed.
-----
"Sounds good," said Cherryflower. She kept her ears pricked for the sounds of prey as the two cats padded on.

Creekheart gave the apprentices a warm smile and a greeting with a flick of his tail. "Hi, you two." He meowed, "Is there something you need?"
- - -
Burrclaw focused his senses for their prey in a long silence until he realized he had been rather rude to Cherryflower. "I'm sorry, I hadn't asked how you've been doing." He apologized in a low meow.

"We were wondering if you'd take us out training," said Frostpaw. "I haven't been out of the camp in a while. If that's okay with you, I mean."
-----
Cherryflower gently flicked her brindled tail against Burrclaw's shoulder. "You're fine! I've been doing well; thank you for asking." With her mouth open slightly, she caught a scent of mouse about a couple of fox-lengths away, but instead of going right after it, she meowed, "How are you doing these days?"

Creekheart's ears perked up at that, and the lanky tom stood up, feeling a little bit of his own excitement as though he were an apprentice too. "Sure thing! Since I have the two of you, how about we go out for some battle training?" He meowed, padding toward the camp exit and beckoning them to follow him.
Hopspaw gave Frostpaw an excited look before trotting after the warrior. "That sounds great!" She meowed.
-----
Burrclaw shrugged and gave a grunt in response, not having expected to be asked the same. The same scent of mouse hit his nose, and he felt a vague sense of relief at it. "Mouse," He meowed, and he lowered himself into a stalking position and crept into the tall grass on quiet paws.

Frostpaw stretched, his tabby paws clawing at the earth, then he stood and padded after Creekheart. "What battle moves will we be working on today?" He asked Creekheart.
-----
Leaving Burrclaw to catch his own mouse undisturbed, Cherryflower turned and caught the scent of shrew on the soft breeze. She padded forward, creeping low through a tangle of undergrowth, until her nose told her that the little creature was very near. Cherryflower peered under a low branch and saw the shrew ahead. Lightly and silently, she crept up to it, then killed it with a swift pounce. She picked up the fresh-kill and headed back to where she'd left Burrclaw.

Creekheart paused in thought. It would be hard to decided without knowing where the two apprentices were with their training. "I want to see what you two know first." He meowed, giving the two apprentices a smile.
Hopspaw gave an excited mew. "Oh, yes!" She cheered.
-----
Burrclaw was quickly burying his mouse after he had caught it. He looked up to see Cherryflower with her shrew and he nodded. "Nice catch," He meowed, almost instinctively as though he were training his apprentice. He felt his ears turn hot. "I mean, naturally." He tried to correct himself.

(Happy belated birthday, inky!)
-----
Frostpaw thought for a moment. He secretly wasn't too crazy about the idea of going into vicious battle one day, but he knew he had to learn the moves. If he imagined having to fight to defend the kits, he felt a bit more willing. "I know about knocking an enemy off their paws," he meowed, then demonstrated by crouching down, slithering underneath a pretend enemy, then jumping up. He was tall, and that was the first skill he mastered. "I guess I could use some help learning how to deal with a very quick enemy, though. Or what to do if someone pins me down." He glanced at Hopspaw, wondering if he'd have to practice fighting with her -- or with a fully grown warrior.
-----
"Thank you," Cherryflower purred. She was also pleased with herself for managing to catch something so easily -- she was much better suited for open-ground hunting. She buried her shrew close to the mouse Burrclaw had caught. Keeping an eye out for more stirrings of prey, she asked, "How is Tawnypaw doing with her training?" She still couldn't tell if the ginger tom liked talking very much, but she liked knowing what was going on with her Clanmates.

Hopspaw nodded. "I need to learn how to fight a quick enemy too. I'm strong, but I'm slow." She meowed with a laugh, "I can pin a cat down, but sometimes its hard to catch them if they're moving!"
Creekheart's ears perked up. "Great! I'll teach you both how to do a belly rake for when you're pinned down, and for a quick enemy, maybe the tail yank will help with that." He meowed enthusiastically, his pace quickening as he lead them into a clearing for practice. "The belly rake is far more exciting, so let's start there." He purred, turning to face them.
------
Burrclaw felt a little relieved to be talking about mentoring - his favorite activity. "She's doing quite well," He meowed, his usually gruff tone lightening into pride for his apprentice, "I don't have to worry about her too much; she always does what she's told to. As long as she gains a little confidence, she will make a fine warrior."

Frostpaw followed Hopspaw and Creekheart into the clearing. "I'm ready! How do we start?"
-----
"I'm glad to hear it," purred Cherryflower. "Young cats are the Clan's future. It's good to see them growing up well." She had always had a soft spot for the Clan's youngest members; she thought for a moment how she'd like to raise her own someday, but quickly shooed the thought away. A scent hit her nose: rabbit. Dropping her voice to a whisper, she pointed with her tail to the direction that the scent came from. "Rabbit over there. If I drive it toward you, can you catch it?"

~ Question for everyone ~
So, I've been feeling a bit torn on the state of this clan...how would people here feel if I kinda just nuked this original thread and started one afresh? (It'd be the same roleplay! Just a different page.) I'm feeling really...messy with this thread. Perhaps that's all in part to me not keeping up on this place as much as I should, and for that I'm sorry. I don't think I would be opening up new people to join, just so I can keep easier tabs on those who actually remain active (by the way I'm so lucky to have such awesome active members, thanks a lot everyone!!). Also, in regards to Timberclan, I think I'm going to scrap it. I know a few people here have already made profiles for the clan and even molded certain ones on this clan around its existence, but I hope you all would be okay with me just keeping it as an NPC entity. However! Speaking of a new clan....I've been meddling with the thought of a new one (apart from Meadowclan this time) and starting fresh somewhere, but I'm obviously rather hesitant knowing my activity issues with this one.... Guys, I absolutely do not want this place to die. In all my years of warrior fan clan experience, all the way back to 2010, this has been the most successful. But if I don't shape up, I fear I'll let it slip through my fingers... It doesn't help my case now that I've started summer classes alongside my normal 40 hours a week...I promise you all I really love this place and I love you all even more for sticking around so long!! <3 <3 One more thing, another reason why I'd want to jump ship on this thread is because my front page coding is a bit confusing to me. It was all singlehandedly made by me, but even then I (as a very amateur coder) get things confused and messed up. Transitioning to a simpler front page would make my--and possibly everyone else's--lives easier.
I'd love to hear any and all comments from you guys! Thanks much~!

Frostpaw followed Hopspaw and Creekheart into the clearing. "I'm ready! How do we start?" ----- "I'm glad to hear it," purred Cherryflower. "Young cats are the Clan's future. She had always had a soft spot for the Clan's youngest members; she thought for a moment how she'd like to raise her own someday, but quickly shooed the thought away. A scent hit her nose: rabbit. Dropping her voice to a whisper, she pointed with her tail to the direction that the scent came from. "Rabbit over there. If I drive it toward you, can you catch it?" Creekheart purred quietly to see the apprentices' enthusiasm. "I'll have you two practice on each other so you can both learn at the same time." He meowed, then he sat down and looked between the two. "When being pinned down, your opponent will be fully alert and using all their strength. In this situation, the best way to get out of their hold is to rake your claws into their belly, which is fully exposed in that position. Once you have them startled, they may release you entirely, and if they haven't, they will still be stunned enough for you to kick them off of you - which is what you two will be practicing right now." Hopspaw couldn't help but shuffle her paws in excitement. This sounded like real, gruesome battle! ------- Burrclaw lifted his head to scent the same rabbit, and he nodded. "Yes, that's a good idea." He meowed, blinking at her appreciatively at her initiative.

Sablefur lay outside the elders' den, running his tongue across his ragged dark brown coat. The elder tom's muscles were particularly aching him this afternoon, but he of course was too proud to make a fuss over it. He occasionally winced in pain as he reached across his flank to clean his fur. The tom stopped himself for a moment, realizing the state he was in. Old, scruffed, merely a shell of the former warrior he was in his prime moons. That familiar pit in his chest began to burn again. He slumped back his shoulders and laid in silent contemplation, eyeing the small movements made around camp with slight envy and sorrow.

Raccoonstripe's ears twitched with the sounds of camp as she carefully stepped outside of the elder's den. She gave an alarmed grunt as she felt herself step on Sablefur's tail, and she jumped back and landed heavily down on her haunches in a sitting position. "Sorry about that." She growled in frustration, mostly at herself.

Frostpaw first thought about asking Hopspaw to attack him, but he realized that his thick belly fur would protect him if the other apprentice's claws were to come out. He trusted Hopspaw, but better safe than sorry. Frostpaw had to admit to himself he was a little less tough than he'd like to be. So he crouched down and quickly sprang forward, catching Hopspaw by the shoulders and pinning her down on her back.
-----
Cherryflower moved quietly through the grass, following the trail of the rabbit. Its scent grew steadily stronger until she was right up on it. She looked back and checked where Burrclaw was waiting, then got behind the rabbit. With an excited yowl, she charged. The rabbit took off hopping straight towards Burrclaw, as she had hoped.
