Elsewhere, the US president was pacing back and forth in his home. He heard that the other nations that had been attacked were ready to fight though they were also blaming other countries for what happened. The middle aged man was feeling the pressure. Many people wanted justice for what had happened. He wanted justice but diving into war just didn't sit right with him.

President Johnathon Mathers has his people get a press conference ready. Sadly, time was not on his side and he needed to act fast. Once he was dressed and prepared he makes his way to the White House Front lawn. There he was met by cameras and phone cameras going off in his face. Slowly, he walked to the podium set up and looked out at the crowd. "My fellow Americans, by now you would have already heard what had happened. This is a dark and scary time but rest assured we will pull through. America is strong and together we will not be moved! My fellow vice president and dear friend Richard Osmind was killed today. He was a great man who has stuck with me ever since I was just a simple senator in Minnesota. He will be dearly missed and I along with his family will be grieving for a long time. In any case there must be a second in command. I have had many people call and email me about some candidates and rest assured I have fought long and hard about this. The man I wish to name as my second in command will be Robert Kennedy Hays!"

There was lots of clapping in the crowd and everyone was thrilled, Congress especially! there was some small talk and muttering going on "well he is one of the best" some would say but the soldiers were the ones looking concerned. He was a war pusher and a very gun hoe kind of man. He was a man of tactics but not of politics. he knew combat not peace. Many knew this was going to be a very bloody time.

Robert Hayes happened to be at home watching the conference when he heard his name. His wife and children hugged him happily. He was happy mainly because he was ready to make a difference. It was time for America to become bigger than Russia and China combined. He had a plan and he was eager to put it into motion.
General Halfhand was given his orders and starts making calls and creating a soldier of soldiers who would be going overseas.

Jack jumped when a loud knock sounded from his door. He inwardly groaned before getting up and walking over to the door. He opened it and blinked at Jenny. "Just a heads up Casanova. We will be heading out tomorrow morning. Make sure your gear is ready." She quickly explained everything that had happened.

Joanna was resting on the bed laying down. she was still weak, her skin pale and her eyes slits. she didn't look like she could care for herself while he was gone. "whats happening?" she asked when he came back in
