"how is she? i havent seen her since her father dropped her off at basic training. she doesnt like to come to our family things... she says she isnt part of our family, just her biological mother's" the woman said. she was younger, maybe 30 at the most but gorgeous as she touched Joanna's bruised cheek

Something seemed to click in Jack's head and he inwardly kicked himself for assuming this was Joanna
's mother. "Trust me, Joanna is a tough one. She is in bad shape but she will pull through. I happen to be her boyfriend by the way."

Jack raised his eyebrow at the woman. "Joanna is far from delicate Mrs, Jones. In fact, she is probably the strongest and fiercest woman I have ever met."

“SHe is laying in a hospital bed barely hanging on. How many surgeries has she had to have. How many scares has she given my husband?! She isn’t physically strong enough for this” she said stern like a mother would

Jack placed his hands into his pockets. She did have a point there. Joanna was suppose to be on the sidelines helping soldiers as a nurse. "She will get better." He mumbled.

Joanna was slowly waking up from her sedation “jack?” She asked out in a scratchy voice as she was slowly waking up. “Where are you?” She tried sitting up and her vision was a tad blurry.
Mrs. Jones looked to her “Joanna sweetie im here. I think it’s best if you come with us when we can move you. It will be better for you” she touched her cheek and put a hand on her lap "your father has been very worried. why dont you come live with us for a while" she said being all soft and motherly
Joanna was instantly irritated when she heard that voice “get away you w**re. Don’t show your face around here!” Her heart rate was increasing and a few machines started beeping. "Jack where are you please. Dont leave me with her she opened her eyes and turned to look towards him. she was panicking and freaking out but slapped away her step monster's hand away

Jack hurried over to Joanna and placed his hand on her shoulder. "I'm right here babe." He said leaning over and kissing her head. "Deep Breathes!"

Jack's demeanor slowly began to change. He wasn't going to let the wolf fully out but enough to scare this woman. "Seems you didn't hear me. Joanna doesn't wwant you here." He growled.

Jack's eyes grew darker and he moves even closer to her. "Far as Joanna is concerned you are not her mother." He wanted to shove Mrs Jones away though he didn't want Mr Jones to be mad.

Joanna hit the call button and when a nurse came in she had her remove the step monster. Joanna didn’t want the wolf to make her mad and she just wanted the woman out of her room
