Sour watched from what he considered a minimum safe distance, trying his best not to be seen. Aiden on the other hand, was just casually leaning on the wall, considering no one except Sour could even see him. "What is the purpose of you doing this, anyway? They already denied you the money." Sour glared at him and whispered, "Shut up! I'm trying to spy..."
(I decided to describe Aiden's actions as well even though nobody can see him, so you can see and hear what Sour (I) does)

"Alright, alright, if I keep my mouth shut, will you get them to spare me?" Sour asked, out of options. After a moment Aiden released him and said "Fine. But you must say ONLY what I tell you to." After an angry growl, Sour agreed. His invisible friend sighed and said "Tell them that I said 'I'm sorry for Sour's actions. He is indeed insane, which is probably why I still exist. I plan to convince him to get help sometime in the future and for now he's going to keep his mouth shut until I say so'." Sour rolled his eyes and relayed his message to the angry grievers, hoping they wouldn't kill him.

Sour was about to say his thanks, but Aiden put his finger over his lips, signaling him to be quiet. Sour simply nodded his thanks and gazed down at floor.
