I got my schedule today. The only thing I'm dreading about LifeWay is how enthusiastically I'm going to have to sell Jesus Calling. Oh goodness why Just do your best to avoid talking about it I guess, RIP

Is it gen chem for college? And whether or not you're looking for advice, don't stress over it, just study a little every day. Study right now for an hour, and you'll instantly feel a little better about it. That's what I do to help stay calm, which helps me a ton on exams. The one exam I panicked on I got a whole 47% on. I'm doing problem by problem with my statics homework. It's literally high school geometry class on steriods. Yeah college gen chem. I have to go all the way up to orgo chem yeah I know I need to not stress. I'm just a naturally stressed out person xDD I've gotten a lot better though and I did practice a lot of the dimensional analysis and conversions today so I feel a bit better about that. My teacher is pretty hard, though. He likes to say that he's going to give us all the hardest problems and he's stressed that there's only 12 questions on the exam so that's not a lot of room for error xD ew statistics. I took that last year, a condensed class, it was the worst. Idk how I passed tbh. Bleh, good luck in that. I think I actually remember discussing this before now. My dad took org chem and he says it can be pretty rough, but the good news is it's rough for everyone so curves are usually good, you just gotta hit that average or above. Are equation provided for you guys? And random little information like the periodic table and how many units are in other units for the dimensional analysis? That's the one nice thing about college, they don't waste our time with making us memorize stuff that isn't meant to be memorized. That's relatable, on my first statics exam there were 3 questions, each worth almost the exact same, so if you fail one that's a D right there. But they are pretty good at giving partial credit for work so it isn't a hit or miss. And it's statics, structures, and materials. I misread it a lot too as statistics.

And yeah I heard it was rough too >.< but I gotta do what I gotta do lol yeah we get those, which is nice. There is still a lot of stuff we have to memorize though. Like a handful of elements, certain acids, polyatomic ions, etc. I think that's the part I'm kicking myself over, cause if I'm give the info, I can do dimensional analysis, but there is gonna be problems that I have to say, find the moles of ____ ion. Which means I have to remember the formula ughh WOAH 3 questions??? That's crazy! And I thought 12 questions was bad xD I can see your feelings on your class by your emojis xD

Guys idk if you've seen but Verbatim is having a breakdown. It might be just a joke, but I think it actually is an anxiety attack-type thing. Better safe than sorry anyway. Can we pray for him?

What's "Jesus Calling"? Book written about Jesus... from a first-person perspective. "He" talks a lot about peace and love and cupcakes and joy, but His death on the cross, payment for our sins, etc. are, strangely enough, barely mentioned. And the language Jesus uses sounds oddly like the language a 21st century woman would use.

I would warn against anything written in Jesus's (or God's) "voice".

ew why would that be endorsed by Christians? xD People want to experience emotional and spiritual validation (whether it be in the form of a metaphysical 'awareness of Presence' like Young posits or otherwise) more than they want to actually study God's Word. Because, whether we like to admit it or not, being a Christian is not easy or romantic and comes with some hard-hitting truths we have to accept. People like to be told that everything will be sunshine and rainbows but God doesn't promise that.

Can someone mail me motivation and a life? Here you goBut are you ok? Do you need to talk? I also struggle with motivation a lot Funnily enough my Bible is literally sitting right next me. I think I'm fine, just trying to find something to do with myself. I'm like a master procrastinator so my motivation is shot right now. Ugh.

Damnit people of course it's not an actual Bible, it's just Psalms and Proverbs from the Bible.
