[ Hollowpaw | 8 moons ] - a dark-brown tabby tom with golden amber eyes with long, hooked claws and tufted ears.
// Description: Bitter and rather cynical, Hollowpaw is infamous for his sharp-tongue and even sharper wits. He makes no habit of making friends with other cats his age, preferring his own company to that of others due to a lack of social skill and an internalized fear of rejection. Because his young age, he stubbornly holds onto this mindset of keeping others at a length, believing that the only cat that he needs is himself. However, despite his reclusive nature, he finds satisfaction in helping others and holds no ill will or intention towards any of his clanmates.

[ we can have the kits come pretty soon, maybe tomorrow. just to give stone and spider another day of interaction and in the meantime maybe some more people will join. And Iโd say limit the litter at 4 or so kits, to be realistic. Iโd want one of them :) ]

Buzzardwing exited the warrior's den, shaking off the tiredness of the morning and the pieces of nest stuck to his pelt. The monochrome colored tom generally didn't like starting his morning out with an inordinate amount of movement and activity, but he saw Finchstar looking around and finally eyeing him and he knew he was going to miss his morning meal. Buzzardwing shrugged and smiled at her, "I suppose I do look like it, huh." He responded, giving a lengthy yawn that made his ears twitch. "Should we bring along some other warriors or do you think we can do the job?" He asked her only half-seriously. |

He knew that Spiderblossom took care of herself; she cared for both herself and the kittens almost as much as Stonepelt loved them. The tom was already excited to meet his babies. He wondered how many there would be. Though he wouldn't admit it to anyone who asked, Stonepelt was hoping for at least one son. He was excited to teach his child how to be a young warrior without turning into a prick, as some toms taught their children to be. (A certain apprentice came to Stonepelt's mind, but wasn't out to raise trouble. No, that was Aspenpaw's job. He pitied the warrior who mentored that one.)
He was dragged out of his contemplation as Spiderblossom began talking. "Hunting was good. Nice now the weather is warming up." He twitched an ear. "Sooo, how's the nursery? Changed at all since earlier?"

I just have a bunch of school work I'm trying to get through while still having a social life. Also I have like a hundred flashcards spread out on my bed atm. }

[ yeah! the dorm only lets you have fish unless you have a "therapy animal" so I'm gonna try and get a cat for next semester since I have GAD. I compulsively buy Betta's because I feel so bad for them at the pet store. I have five atm.
I feel that, Mort. I'm a major procrastinator so I always end up doing things at midnight the day they're due. what class is it for? ]

I can't really even procrastinate because I have five classes and so there's always something that has to be due that I have to be working on. Ooh it's business law, which is like, me trying to remember a million legal terms and how they relate to each other. }

[ I have 5 too, I'm just really stupid. I once wrote a "term project", which was a 35 page paper, the night before it was due. That was hell. Got a 100 on it tho. Only perfect score in the class too.

"Just as boring as ever," was the queen's honest reply, scanning her dark green gaze around the nursery, empty entirely except for her nest settled in one of the corners. She was the only inhabitant, and was beginning to get bored of spending time in the camp without a great deal of company. She hated to complain, knowing it made her sound like little more then a kit and there were far more worrisome things to concern herself with, but the truth in the matter was she was beginning to grow impatient of being stuck in the camp with little to do. Then Spiderblossom grinned, "If only toms were the ones who had to carry the kits, make my life much easier," she said with a chuckle. Shifting again, kicking about the moss of her nest to try and make herself more comfortable.
"It would appear that the kits don't find it necessary to let their mother rest at any point either," she added with an affectionate chuckle. "I'm beginning to think they take turns sleeping so that I can have a constant barrage of kicking against my ribs at any point." [/sub] [/p] |
