I don't know about conversion from HTML coding but I do have a code for scroll boxes.

I'm having some trouble with the image posting. As far as I can tell I'm following all the steps. Should the link and everything be posted in the BBCode part of the post or the main post? I've been putting it most often in the main post...  |

That's really weird. I've tried it a bunch of different ways, but that img code just won't work.
The only answer I have for you is to try uploading the image again. You did the code part right.
And if you use the img tags around, you can put it in either window.

Are you copying the code right off the side of the screen or the top of the image? The code is slightly different than what I usually get.

I know. Want me to tell you step by step what I've been doing? I go to imgur. Click new post. Small box pops up that says drag image here or browse. I've tried both browse and drag image. I've mostly been using browse. Another window pops up when I hit browse and it's the one where you select the image. I click on one of the images that I own and I made. Then hit open. Everything loads up. Image is a little over to the left and it says give your post a title at the top. To the right is some that says this imgur.com/a/4J1CS and it says copy by it. I click copy. Then I put [ img] [ /img] (with spaces deleted.) I paste the link in the middle of these codes and add .png or .PNG at the end. I then hit post  |

Hmmm Lets try the alternate way.
Next to the copy, there's a arrow. Hover over this, and it'll give you some options.
Click 'get share link'
There should be one that says "BBCode Forums"
try copying that one. Just paste it in here, don't change it any.
Let's see how this is.

Imgur is having some issues due to an update, make sure that your URL to the image has .jpg/.png or .GIF at the end of the link. If that doesn't work, try another image hosting site.
