Welp, no worries! I had no access to a computer to reply anyway. ^^
Ooooooooo! i love how you finished the new piece of art!!
Pfft. I'm surprised that with how much angst I RP that I don't draw more gore. I believe the most I ever did gore-wise was when we did the gladiator/Hunger Game room in TPH. I drew a lot of death for a very sad PMV. That was about all. I actually really like drawing the quiet, between action scenes. I don't know why. Maybe because it's the calm the characters don't always get. As for drawing males ... *shudders* I only RP males (basically) so I had quite the bit of trouble teaching myself to draw them after drawing females for so long. Now all my male characters have no curves, but the arms, neck, legs, etc. are neither feminine or masculine. My art teacher often times points to a character and says 'oh, I like how you drew her' and it's gotten to the point where she adds 'them. him. One of those.' XD It's just something I need to work on. I'm getting there, apparently, according to my art teacher. At least in recent attempts. Hum. I need to draw my characters more often. As in, the characters from my novels and not the one's I RP. Though sometimes they're one and the same, I will admit.

Thanks! I was really pleased with how she came out considering I'm not used to drawing side on profiles and all that.
Yeah, thankfully I only rp one male (kinda, depending if we need extras and disposables) but like he's usually in the most interesting/messed/fun up moments and so I miss out drawing all those :c I also kinda struggle drawing children too. It's not the faces, I could do a portrait, but children's anatomy is weird to me. Which again is annoying cos we rp a lot of flash backs to when two of my characters are young children and also Lil has two kids of her own I'd love to draw her with. But yeah the calm between the massacres is always so sweet and soft and a pleasure to draw.
Lol the last time I showed an art teacher my personal work I was told that if I wanted to pursue art I had to stop drawing 'anime' and that my style is not considered art in the art world or some sh*t. Loool I haven't considered my art style anime style since I was like 12. And that was at an interview for an art course at my college which stopped me from studying art for the next three years as they would have ultimately stopped me from doing what I love. And I hate not having free rein on my creativity. Haha sorry for that little rant, I will be forever salty towards that teacher. Shame, he had a really cute dog he would drop off at the onsite farm kennels I worked at as an animal management student there. I work with horses now and just do art on the sidelines, and I definitely feel better off because of that. (sorry for the tangent xD haha)
Ooo, you write too? I find writing scary, rarely do it outside rp but sometimes I get little ideas here and there.

I haven't tried drawing children very often. But I'd love to do it more. ^^ One of these days I should draw your characters. Pffft. Well, I tried to get an art scholarship once which included anime style cats with hair. And one of the people who was looking at it was really confused. Ahhhhhhhhh well. I like my style how it is, how it is, how it is. *shrugs* I've given up on trying to figure out what style my art is. It has too many mixes. Yeah, I write too. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif) I want to be an author. So I have several characters very near and dear to me.

Awwwe welp If you have any female characters at all, one of these days we should make it a trade c;
I feel like an art style is a forever changing and evolving thing. Kinda like the survival of the fittest. You draw something with a slight difference and you think "damn that's good" and you carry that onto your next drawing and the next until you find something even better to replace that, if you baguette me. That's how it's worked with me anyway, just constant little changes that have got me here today. Idk, comparing art to evolution might not make sense but it works in my mind cx
That's so cool, I have a lot of respect for authors and writers. It's something I've always admired and dreamed of being able to do myself. I mean, I do write, I've just never been able to get that fluidity and structure that I see in others writing, that sort of captures and entrances, if you know what I mean.

I've got Will C. Morgen my child, so yep!
That makes perfect sense to me, actually. My style of eye pupils is constantly changing and shifting to things that work better than the last. As I go, they get just a bit more detailed, but change nonetheless. Same with noses. Slowly that style is changing as well. And so forth and so on. It's pretty impressive.
Pfft. I still don't think I'm getting that. Ever heard the 'write your story because no one else will' saying? Well, I just figure that it can be the worst writing in the world but if I don't get my story down then no one else will and better that my characters live in a horribly written novel than not live at all. And with that mindset my writing has vastly improved. I've been writing since 2012 and I can't say I'm 'good' but oh boy am I 'better'. Plus it's fun. Like drawing it is very relaxing to weave something out of nothing.

I have no excuse this time, I just barely go on my pc tbh.
Well, it'll be a pleasure whenever you're up for it c:
Exactly! It's so nice and satisfying to look back and see the evolution and improvements in my art and also other artists. Even if my old art makes me cringe. But it's nice to think that if I can go from that to this, imagine how much further I could go in another year or so, if you know what I mean.
Mmm, yeah, I know what you mean. I had a whole story and world complete with back stories, lore and all the other trimmings all going on in my mind which I created literally just through daydreaming my through high school. But since my new oc's and this rp I'm apart of has sort of shoved that from the no.1 day dreaming spot the last year or so, I find myself forgetting more and more of the details of my previous world and I really wished I'd written it all down in some cra*py stories that only I would ever read. Which is why now, I always save important rp scenes and other random little stories I write on my phone so I can always look back on them, even if they make me cringe a little.

Hah. And here I am on it all the time, whoops. I don't really ever cringe at my old stuff. It seems a waste to hate art that I once thought so much of. I prefer to compare. I know exactly what you mean. My humans might as well have been traced a year ago. I didn't have a style, is what I mean, and my concept of anatomy wasn't as good. It's a whole lot better now, but I know I can improve so much. Very good idea! I do the same. Save everything. Even the most midnight-fluff writing can hold something you can use later. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif) Most of my stories come from actual dreams. Characters I've credited and fallen in love with and created somehow come almost or fully formed in my dreams. The one difference is that for this one story I have such a detailed plot I'm not sure how much I can bare to send to the cutting room floor. Still. Everything is useful. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/iVhKxJ4UsBP0VgImbuAI.gif)

I doubt anyone remembers it when faced with your new art. ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/K_aktz7ovAHLNjZqbiem.gif) Yeah, it's the same. XD I have a whole RP printed out and to anyone else it's just: *eyebrow raise* but for me it's funny and amazing and it really shows from the beginning to the end so much improvement. I have one character, Eveline, and another, Tom, who I literally had just this little one paragraph description of who they were, but I just ... changed them so much over the years. It's amazing. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif) Oh, that would be really fun! I hope you do, because that would make them, if possible, more interesting.

Legit, one of my mains, Lucas, I just sort of created cos I needed an 'edgy evil guy' extra for a torture scene cos our other villains were held up somewhere else. Now, a year later, he's become a key in the plot, a brother to another main, an uncle to my Lily's kids also everyone would be very, very dead (and some very alive haha..) if it weren't for him. It's weird how far a character can come. Speaking of Lily, I kinda adopted her when her owner left the rp. She was little more than an appearance and basic personality. I picked her up and now she's my messed up, manipulative, mama bear, pride and joy c':
Yeah I just finished up a portrait of Lucas and I'm trying to think of something cool I can write for it that doesn't mean you have to already know his character to understand. I'm thinking Lily's first meeting with him. So the reader is also getting her first impression.
Gonna draw Rue next, I think c:<

Heh, heh. I nurture characters like that. In fact, someone else did what do did for Lily with on of 'my' characters. They did so much with them. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/iVhKxJ4UsBP0VgImbuAI.gif) I write things you'd have to know the character to understand all the time. I'm too lazy to figure out other options. Go for it! I just finished watercoloring Arthur Dee.

prophet Thanks!! Hmmm, update with a very flat coloured Rowena and also a debut of my super crapppy writing to the internet yaaaayy! mintedstar/fur🦇 Yeah my characters are like my children and I love them all c': Lily's children are like my own and I can genuinely feel maternal when I'm rping her with them (god what am I coming to?). Which is saying something considering I've never been too bothered about children my entire life loool. One of my oldest oc's name is Arthur c': Probably very different from yours tho, considering mine was a forest god of evergreen trees and Arthur was only his common name xD

*laughs* In TPH we're currently doing a little kids room and I'm writing Myrnin as a little kid. I've never wanted to adopt a fictional character so much in my life. I want to adopt them all, to be honest. Now I have to learn to draw little kids.
Why have actual children when you can have written ones?
Arthur Dee is a historical character, son of John Dee. I RP him. cx He's just full of historic snarkiness.

That's a very fun idea! I actually never thought of moving backwards in a timeline if a plot got dry. It seems like pretty cool idea. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/6575102/images/lNtnPuxeCzkaKMNYVXVv.gif) And yeah, I RP a 12 year old and he's got a bit of trauma in his life. But there's still plenty of fluff. I actually have quiet a few OCs, but don't really use them for TPH. I would say the canon characters I RP the most would be Kid and Myrnin. I have RPed sort-if real people before. I've RPed a fictional version of Oliver Cromwell. Not for very long in the House, but for pretty long in my RP. Arthur was a better fit for me. He's great. There's not a lot of information via google search, but I found some stuff on him through my school and apparently he was pretty good at getting out of tough situations. It was hilarious reading about his later life. I RP him when he's about 21.
