...I guess it would technically make sense to put the dratinis here instead, since it's on topic, but whatever. I actually feel SOMEWHAT confident that I could return to this in the near future; I'm getting used to drawing lineart on the new art program!

It's pretty obvious that I always "cheated" (I prefer "used the tools at my disposal") by using the tool where you put down the endpoints of a curve and then bend the curve as much as you want. Well, I can't do that anymore, but I've worked out a strategy to freehanding it, so I don't need to have the scuffed solution of just cranking up the contrast on my actual sketch.

I did also have the issue that the art program I used for many years stopped working--or specifically, the text tool stopped working. It turns out that using an old version of the program on an updated MacBook breaks the text tool and you just can't type anything into the field. But when I tried to update, they wanted me to pay for the whole art program again, which I really didn't want to do. That was a major obstacle for obvious reasons and is now solved...
