p. 27
Tadpole saying "My name is Glass" is directly lifted from the original and probably meant to mirror how Scourge introduces himself to the alley cats for the first time ("My name is Scourge," of course). In the original he says it directly after a scene break and with no background or narration, so it gives the impression he's announcing it to the world at large, rather than addressing someone in particular. Which technically could be the case. He is either speaking to or overheard by a cat named Honey, who sort of freaks out, calls out to Pounce and Tess, and escorts him to BloodClan HQ without explaining a thing. (Prior to this, he has a run-in with Lynn where she tells him to consider joining BloodClan--the two scenes have essentially been combined into one.)
Oh, and symbolism?

In the original no one really tried to verify that he was Scourge's son. I think it's a lot more reasonable for Lynn to accidentally ask leading questions than for all the adults to just ignore the fact that there is zero proof of his parentage.

p. 30 I actually had Willie as orange right up until the last minute, when I realized he was on the cover of the third Ravenpaw manga. The manga cover actually confirms that Snapper's medium-hue fur is reddish brown and that Tess's shaded fur is gray, though Pounce is a little more yellow than I've made him in this comic. (The cat that might be Minty is gray, maybe gray-brown, but my thought that it's her is based on where the cat is coming from, and there are no distinguishing features.) Of course, that's ignoring the questionable canonicity of colors on the manga covers, considering pink-brown Millie. But since the manga is the only available source, I'm going to take it for what it's worth, kind of like how I've made Scourge's collar purple despite that never being mentioned in real-canon. Anyway--I am a little disappointed that Willie is another brown tabby villain, but I think he looks fine.

thank you
but I can assure you that if I’d already posted any pages of Willie he’d have been staying orange—I made the change because I still had the Pixelmator with layers

p. 31
In the original, Storm and Scourge had only one kit. Obviously the story still relies on a lot of coincidence, but it's slightly more reasonable for there to be three possible names to pick.
Also: I updated the cover to the one with a yellow outline.

Brick names them in the comic Arum and Lightning. (Arum is the common name for a family of flowers that are deadly toxic to cats.)

can you BELIEVE I forgot to mention how on page 30, both when making the script AND when typing the actual text box on the page, I initially made Willie tell Lynn she was "disturbing the peach"

p. 32
I discovered while looking at Snipe in the manga that he is actually drawn inconsistently within the one book. At one point his tail is solid black and shorter than the other cats' tails (they all have pretty long tails, but his is noticeably shorter than the others'). At another point his tail is solid black but full length. At another point his tail is full length, with black at the base and brown on the end.
I chose to give him a short, solid black tail because 1. having a short tail will be one minor thing to set him apart from other designs and 2. Barley(?) says in dialogue that Snipe is "the big one with the short tail."
