"For now the plan is to get her used to using her grace repeatedly and minimize the amount of blowback she receives." Alejo answered before continuing "I plan to pick up the pace next week and have Tristan get her started with the fundamentals of unarmed combat."

Luna smiled seeing the dresses all of which were quite stunning. She pondered debating between the two she liked the most. "I say the pink one. It isn't too flashy and it is beautiful and look easy to move in. Best for everything. And well since it's dinner no need to be all flashy so I'd save the others for something like maybe a ball or the visit of another king or queen." Luna learned all this from her mom. The queen had a rule Save the best for something worth it.

"Yes I agree," Kenna said with a smile. She left the dress laid out on her bed and put the others away in her closet. "Do you have many balls here?" She asked curiously.

Hava nodded, "Speaking of which, may I check her hands?" She asked, wanting to make sure they hadn't suffered any damage in her training today.

Okay lol I'll just post a starter for her i dont care what character you use but basically she works as a cook in the kitchen at the castle ) Annaliese leaned against the kitchen counter, her eyes scanning the page slowly. She rolled her eyes, slamming the book down. Stupid ending. She sighed gently, her chocolate brown hair sticking out of her bun. She sat down and quickly re-did it, standing up and walking towards a certain cupboard, opening it and grabbing another book. She opened it up and leaned against the counter, propping her chin against her hand, beginning to read the story. Stephen pushed open the door to the kitchen, looking for something to eat. “Hey Annaliese.” He said, sticking his head into a cupboard. When he found what he was looking for he grabbed it and closed the doors, looking back at her. “What’re you reading?” "A Midsummer Night's Dream," she murmured, to in depth into the beginning of the book to really pay attention to him. She then looked up as the cupboard door shut, rolling her eyes. "Hey, who said you could snoop around to get food? Do you see me eating all the food in the whole kitchen?" She asked, raising an eyebrow as her eyes narrowed at Stephen.

Alejo hadn't thought to look at her hands "Of course. You do not need my permission for such things. In here you are the final authority in such matters are you not?" He replied. Her grace had always amazed him. It was far more fitting to be called such in comparison to his own.

Efos shifted uncomfortably under his arms, her face still lacking it's usual brown tone. Though, a blush had returned to her cheeks. She definitely had a crush on him, there was no denying it now, but she was becoming more and more disheartened. She wished everyone would stop babying her; she was fine. As they exited the room, she slgently distangked herself from his supporting arms. "I'm going to change." She decided, looking up at him. Unsure, she rubber her upper arm. Why was she so bad st talking?! "I will, uhm, see you in the mess hall?"

Annaliese scoffed and closed her book, walking over to him and crossing her arms. She was quite short compared to him, which didn't look exactly intimidating, but she always tried her best. "Well..." she stood there for a moment, trying to come up with something. "You interrupted my reading time! Like half the of time, I'm cooking, and the other half, I'm reading. It's a daily routine really," She shrugged, a small smile on her face but quickly wiping it off. "Well, if you're gonna have a snack, let me just make a quick breakfast." She shrugged.

(say that there's enough xD maybe they can have one coming up in like a week or two?)
Hava's face grew red at his answer, "Well, I suppose I am..." She said. Normally, she wouldn't have asked to see a patient, but she never knew what to expect or how to act with Alejo. He had so much power, she figured it was best to play it safe with him. She turned to Rivi. "May I see your hands sweetheart?"
Rivi offered her hands to the healer. They were slightly red, and boasted a few minor blisters, but overall, they were no where near as bad as they had been the day before. Hava put one of Rivi's hands between her own and healed the few blisters that remained. "There you are," She said with a smile. "All better."
"Are you sure you can make it to your room on your own?" He asked. The guards' quarters were quite the walk from here, and he didn't want to find out later that she had not in fact been able to make it. "I can go with you," he offered.

(i'll go with the week or two idea.)
"Well we have a ball coming up in a week or two and I'd say the rose gold one is best for that very event. It is elegant and beautiful." Luna said as she looked at Kenna well for the first time. This poor girl was going to get hit on way to hard by her brother with these looks. But maybe he deserved happiness albeit very troublesome.

At the news of the upcoming ball, Kenna's face lit up. "How exciting!" She exclaimed, beaming. "The rose gold one will be just perfect!" She said. "Do you know what dress you're going to wear?" She asked, her brown eyes bright with curiosity and warmth.

Alejo watched before complimenting Hava "Your showings with your Grace are as impressive as usual. Even among the best of those with the Grace to heal you stand above the rest." He truly ment it. He had seen her save those who would have died if someone with a lesser degree of ability treated them.

"I will be wearing an lovely peacock blue dress. But until then it'll be a surprise to everyone what it looks like cause I had a seamstress make it in secret for me just for the occasion." Luna said as she smiled at Kenna's interest in the dress that she would be wearing. "I think we'll make good friends. Now let's talk about shoes!"

Hava blushed at his compliment. She knew compliments from Alejo were rare, and she was honored to have received one. "Oh! Thank you," She said quietly, unsure how to respond. She had never thought of her grace as impressive. Necessary, perhaps, but never impressive. In her mind, the word impressive was reserved for those whose graces resembled Alejo's, or Rivi's, as they gave one great power. "I suppose I'm just happy to have a grace that can serve others," She said with a smile.

( lol it's fine )
She opened the cupboard, taking out supplies. She moved around the kitchen swiftly, and after a while, she had finished cooking the breakfast for Stephen. She slipped the food onto the plate, setting it near him. "Enjoy," she murmured, before grabbing her book eagerly and going back to reading it.

(I'm sorry I'm so distracted so my replies are garbage)
Efos sighed. All his offers of support were so nice, but it made her feel weak. She was a member of the guard! She should be able to walk after being completely healed. "I'm sure I'll be okay." A weak smile appeared on her face as an attempt to reassure him. Taking a step forward, Efos found she had much less strength than she thought. Stumbling, she fell to a knee, almost gasping. Was she sweating again? Lord, this was embarrassing. At least when she had lost a lot of blood a year ago she had been asleep for the rougher parts of recovery. "I might need help." She admitted, sounded the most defeated she had in a long time.

Alejo nodded and asked "By the way, how bad were Efos's injuries? I'm sure she tried to pass them off as mild." He wanted to know how bad they were. After all he was the highest ranking member of the Guard. He was expected to keep an eye on all his subordinates.

(it's all good!)
Tristan grimly agreed to let her go on her own, but as soon as she took a step, the girl collapsed on the ground. "Efos!" He exclaimed as he rushed forward to pick her up. He lifted her back into his arms. "Alright, I'm in charge now. You are in no condition to be walking. I shouldn't have even let you leave the medic room," He said with a shake of his head. Tristan began walking towards the guard's quarters. "I'll take you back to your room, but you are not to leave alright?" He said, wishing she would just listen. He knew the girl wasn't used to being told what to do, but it was necessary right now. When they finally got to her room, he pushed the door open and gently set her on the bed. "Okay, so I'm going to go grab us some food. You change or do whatever you need to do while I'm gone. Deal?"

Hava thought for a moment about Efos, praying that the girl was feeling better. "She suffered two fractured ribs in combat with Tristan," She explained. "Took about an hour total for me to heal them, but they are back to normal. She still needs rest, but she insisted on going to eat. She and Tristan just went grab some food," She said. "If she's not back in an hour, I'll go find her to check up on her."

"I see. How many days of rest does she need in order to recover?" Alejo responded. "I need to know in order to rearrange the shifts of the guard." He wondered if he should put a temporary ban on training with other members of the Guard. They were all chosen because they had great skill in using their Graces. If they ever got serious it was likely that someone could die.

Hava bit her lip as she thought. "I would give her three to five days, depending on how she's feeling. She is a difficult patient to have due to her lack of pain, so it's hard to gauge exactly how much time she needs to heal." She explained. "She's convinced that she's already better right now," She said with a laugh, "But her bruises concern me. She got beaten up pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend her for duty for at least a few days. But I'll have to update my evaluation as I check up on her."

(Okay I'm finally home so im not distracted anymore!)
Efos allowed herself to be carried without complaint this time. Why had healing taken so much out of her? No doubt if had taken more out of Hava. The girl rest her head against Tristan's chest, too tired to even consider what she was doing. "You know," she began, looking up at the guy she was growing feelings for, "making commands suits you. Perhaps you should be in charge all the time." She suggested with a small laugh, though one could tell her suggestion was completely serious, despite her current state. She wasn't lying, either. He was the oldest, by far the most skilled at combat, and smart yet kind enough to lead the rest if the guards. Perhaps he should petition to be in charge.
Watching him leave, Efos reached beneath her bed, which was barely more than a cot, and pulled out her small trunk of belongings. Inside were a few dresses, another pair of training clothes, and a few letter from her mother, tucked safely beneath her backup trousers. Managing to peel off the sweat drenched clothes, Efos changed into one of her older dresses, which was horribly plain, but clean and dry, which was all she could ask for. With a sigh, she brought her knees up to her chest, waiting for Tristan to return. She really, really despised being babied. But, at least she wasn't alone...perhaps she should be wounded this severely more often.

Alejo listened intently before replying "I'll have her taken off duty for a week. If you see her again today could you inform her of this? Make sure to tell her it is a direct order." He had finished his meal and looked at Rivi to make sure she was also finished. "Well we shall take our leave now. I suspect Rivi would like to stay with you again tonight. We'll have to find her a room eventually though."

(haha yay!)
Tristan smiled at Efos's comment, "Perhaps. Although I have never been a fan of being in charge. Too much responsibility." He said. It was true. Though he had been offered many leadership positions within the king's guard, as well as the army, he had turned them all down. He may be forced to serve the king, but he would do so in the castle, where his duty--for the most part--was to protect, rather than harm. He feared that if he ever moved up the ranks, he would be forced to one day use his grace to harm innocents, something the king was known to use his gracelings for.
When he left Efos's room, he quickly made his way to the kitchens, and stashed an array of left overs in a large napkin that he folded up. Then, he grabbed a pitcher of ale and made his way back to the room. Before he entered Efos's quarters, he knocked, to make sure she was decent. When she told him he could come in, he set the food and drink down at her desk. "Hmm...it seems I forgot cups. I suppose we shall just have to drink out of the pitcher," He said with a laugh.

"Yes, I will make sure to let her know," Hava said, making a mental note to go see the girl tonight before the king's dinner. "Rivi is welcome to stay with us again tonight. We have the room," The healer said with a smile. She wished to keep the girl with her as long as possible. "She is welcome to stay as long as she needs. Will you be attending the King's feast tonight?" She asked Alejo before he left. She was sure that he would in fact be coming, since he was the king's personal guard, but she thought it wouldn't hurt to ask. She herself was invited since she was the head healer. All the heads of the different departments in the castle were to attend.
