The girl studied Kai onec again, taking in his words. So his baking was similar to her writing, it was something that he loved and was passioniate for. "That's really cool that you can bake." She telepathed to him. "I can't really make too much without singeing it to bits." Her eyes widened when he mentioned that chocolate wasn't his favorite flavor. "To each his own be darned, this is heresy! Chocolate is the best thing ever discovered." She stated indignantly, placing her hands on her lips.

The joy seemed to seep off of Mirai's face as he mentioned hiding. She had been taken as a child and forced to work for the king, but that didn't mean that she actually liked it. She hated that the king used her kind as a type of soldier or servant. She desreved to be free to live her life the way that she wanted. Still though, she didn't really have much of a choice. "It is unfortunate, the way our kind has to live." She brushed off the melancholy feelings and said. "Strawberry is really good too." She admitted, still defensive over her chocolate muffin. "What other hobbies do you have besides baking?"

The girl's eyebrows raised up, and she felt an internal flutter of panic. Was she really that obvious? She had always prided herself on being able to hide her identity as a spy, but the baker saw right through her. Maybe it was the people watching practice? Her eyes grew sad at the man- Kai-'s statement, and her shoulders sagged a bit. "It's ok. I was a young girl when it happened. Something terrible happened to my parents, and then I was working for him." She looked at the floor, brows furrowed together. At her suggestion, her head snapped up, heart pounding in her chest like the wings of a a bird. "You would do that? But what about you? I don't want to endanger your hiding place." She paused, then added. "I'm Mirai, by the way."

Mirai's heart was still pounding, and she lowered the muffin from her lips, stowing it in her pouch as she nodded to him. "My name is Mirai. Thank you for your help. My Grace is Telepathy/Mind reading, so long as the person can't block my mind." She looked around the outside before stepping close to the counter, blocking her face from view. "Thank you for helping me. I'm ready to fight or die." She looked at Kai's, easily able to pick out the heterochromia now. "Will you be able to come here able you help me?" She asked, feeling guilty and nibbling on her bottom lip in worry.

The girl nodded and left the bakery, heading to the castle. She took only what she needed and left a few things behind that made it look as if she was only out for the day. The good thing about being the person who scanned thoughts was that no one knew her one. After packing all she held dear and dared to take, she slipped out of the castle and towards the rose gate. By the time she arrived, a light sweat had taken over her, and her nerves were on high. "Hey there." She telepathed.

The girl wathched in amazment as Kai effortlessly bent the bars. His grace was truly amazing, and she felt as if she were watching a real life super hero at work. With a grateful nod, she went through the bars, feeling a little sad . Then again, all that waited for her within the palace grounds was a life of being used anyway. She waved goodbye to the world she had known, and she never looked back.

Mirai studied her companion's new skin with curiosity, and she reached out to touch his titanium arm. "This is amazing!" She exlaimed mentally with wide eyes. She flinched back, however, at Kai's nest words. "Normal." She thought softly, a sad look falling over her eyes. "I can't speak like that. I've only ever spoken in my mind, so I'm mute." She explained, looking at the ground with cheeks flushed red with shame.

Kai ignored the fact Mirai touched his now titanium arm the skin glistened as the sun hit it like metal normally does. "It is a curse as well if it rains I could rust and be stuck like this forever and if a flame too hot touches me I will start to melt or my joint could get welded together." He hesitated when the girl, Mirai, said she was mute because of always speaking mentally. "That...is unfortunate. Hopefully one day you can find your voice."

Luna skipped giddily into the throne room her smile bright and beautiful. "Hello mother. Hello father. How has your day been so far?" Her personality was kind, caring and happy which she felt everyone should be even her father. Wishful thinking since the king was normally a grump as she called him but she didn't really care. She had a better relationship with her mom than anyone else in the kingdom.

Kai continued along the path the sound of the forest making it sound like a person was following but everytime they turned to look no one was there, this was the most dangerous part, getting Mirai to Nander without problems was impossible but getting her there at all wasn't too hard no matter how far the journey. "You will find your voice one day. Maybe someone will help you find it."

Rivi nodded, "I'd like that." The young girl was eager to see Hava and Vetiver again.

As Efos slept, Tristan watched over her, anxious for her to wake up. His pulse quickened a bit at the sight of her stomach, but he ignored it and instead pushed some tendrils of hair off her face. Even though she looked tired and bruised, he still thought she looked...beautiful. Finally, she began to stir. He laughed at her comment, "Despite common belief, I can handle myself against Alejo." He said with a lopsided smile. "He may outrank me because of his grace, but I have been in the guard longer." He said simply. "How are you feeling?"

When his daughter entered the throne room, the king gave her a nod, "Hello Luna," He said plainly. The queen rose from her seat to greet her daughter. She took Luna's hands in her own, "Hello love! You look beautiful today, as always." She said in her quiet, sweet voice. "Have you met the new lady who just came to court today?" She asked, sure that Luna would enjoy having another noble that was her age in the castle.

Efos often forgot just how much older Tristan was. Three years ahead of her, but only one ahead of Alejo. She wondered if he ever got tired of being told what to do by those younger than him. "You didn't have to wait here." She told him, beginning to push herself up onto her elbows with a little groan. All her muscles seemed to be protesting. It didn't hurt, but she knew her muscles were over worked. Realizing what this meant, that he was worried enough to stand by her sleeping form for perhaps hours, she blushed deeply.

Michai hushed himself, seeing the king with another person. He tugged at Lola, "Maybe we should just come back later?" The king intimidated him, though he loved him like he was his own father.

Attai smiled. "I've been riding since I was four years old." She looked around at Jax's horse. "Your horse is absolutely beautiful! Can I pet her?" Taking a step towards his horse, not waiting for his approval,she let her hand run don the side of the animal. "What a beauty." She breathed, letting her eyes close.
