I hated the ending. I get that leaders are trying to be fair, but what about the kits? It annoys me that they didnt have anything to say. Separating Violetkit from Lilyheart was like separating ehr from real mother. I just find it cruel and unsympathetic. And Onestars comment that WindClan should also get part on the kits annoyed me even more. Like what did he want to do, split both kits in half? No of course, he wanted them both for himself. Mistystar was at least polite, but she still gained a negative point from me. I loved the book when it started but the ending just made me shove it under my bed and not take it out ever again.
Plus I can imagine the Clan test Violetkit/paw/whatevers loyality every time they get a chance, when they literally brought her there. |

The fact that erins are making it worse gives me impression that something good will happen that will clear teh skies for them (no pun actually intended). Its a cliche im used to from otehr books.

Im pretty sure the patrol wont find SkyClan, though I think they might actually accidentally find motehr of the kits. I would die then. I bet anything she would want to be with ThunderClan, meaning Violetkit would have to go there too (in that case if shadowclan wont give them Violetkit I will go insanse with anger)

OH OH OH! On Shattered Sky cover there is Needlepaw and Violetkit - I thought Needlepaw is gonna mentor Violetkit. I also thought Twigkit is gonna be mentored by Sparkpaw, but it looks like she wants to become medicine cat. Nice erins, nice.

Yup. It was unfair in the perspective of the kits but was the best solution to inhibit Clan tension and compensate as much as possible for unequal participation in solving the prophecy. |

I though Pinenose was satisfactory. The worst she did was push her closer to the edge in a nest and that didn't seem to be a problem to me. Im not saying she is bad mother, Im saying she isnt the best replacement for Lilyheart. |

I just feel like other clans acted to the kits like things - things that live just to fulfill a prophecy that is by the way unclear. Not kits that love their foster mother, their clan and each other - just like objects that are there to save them and then fade away and become useless. Like emotionless things that know that they have to accept their fate, be brave and not protest. Not loving, young kits that feel like their home is in ThunderClan.
