Blackspots | SkyClan Camp Blackspots' fur rose for only a few moments when the multicolored apprentice went to her, but quickly laid flat. She has so far never really payed any attention to any of them, excepted during their announcement of becoming apprentices in the first place. The black and white she-cat wasn't the one to talk to any one either. Even with one with such a bright personality
"Hello..." She made a small reply to the apprentice, trying to avoid saying the smaller molly's name. "What exactly are you doing here? Shouldn't your mentor be taking you out to train or patrol yet?" 【 ᵗʷᶦˡᶦᵍʰᵗ 】

Sweetpaw || Camp
She tilted her head to the side at the warrior's question. How can I tell her..? She analyzed what she could possibly say, but decided to just be honest. She laughed nervously, "That's the funny part.. I don't know who my mentor is." Flicking her ear, she looked away, her voice becoming dramatized and in a desperate tone, "Everybody tells me; 'Sweetpaw! Remember for once, you mouse-brain!' But I... I can't help it! I just don't know who my mentor is." She then turned back to Blackspots, with a goofy smile on her face. "I'm normally in camp all day trying to help. And it's rare for me to tag along with other apprentices. But all-in-all, I think I can make a good warrior 'outta myself!" Following her sentence, she jumped straight into the air and landed on all four paws, landing in a crouched position, as if she was stalking her prey, her smile big as ever.

Felix twitched her whiskers and listened to his sister ramble on about the different cats he would meet within the clan. He flicked his tail over her ear and purred in amusement."Well, we won't get anywhere if we just stay in our garden, then. Let's go. I'm kinda excited to see what kind of cats you hang out with. Are they big? Fluffy? Mean? Nice?" Felix himself was starting to ramble as he pushed his way through the bushes and through the hole at the bottom of the fence. He shook out his fur and looked at the forest that spanned out in front of him. Is this really something I want to do? What if they don't like me, and try to hurt me? No... Mouseberry wouldn't let that happen. If they are how she says, then... I should be fine. Felix nodded to his thoughts and let his sister take the lead, wondering where exactly the clan might be staying.

"...Seriously? You forgot the cat who touched noses with you at your own apprentice ceremony? You must talk to Blizzardstar about that soon." Balckspots said in a very serious tone of voice, standing up and towering the apprentice now. The silly grin on the she-cat's face not matching up with her stare.
She sighed and continued to talk to Sweetpaw. "Now, why did you walk up to me if you're just going to ramble about forgetting you have a mentor in the first place?"

Mudfur couldn't help but smile at the she-cat. "Well, I was never taught how to swim, so I'm not very good at it." He fluffed out his fur and sat there a moment, looking like a big blow-fish. "Plus when Frostpaw was super young, she jumped into a river and i couldn't find her. Thankfully she washed up and was still alive, just unconscious." Mudfur rose to his paws and padded back to the waters edge, gazing down at his refection. "Maybe being afraid of the water is an irrational fear and i should just get over it." He stepped back into the water and let it lap his paws and legs, he didn't plan on swimming again though. "I cant let fear run my life." He mewed and looked at Amberstone. She was laying in the mud and sand, and he couldn't help but giggle a little. "Maybe you could teach me to love the water?" He mewed, looking down at the she-cat.

A lot of cats are more afraid of the water. Maybe it's because it's more dangerous than it looks." She hummed lightly before adjusting her body, less rocks digging into her. But her movement kicked up the sand and mud. Her body floated as if she weighed nothing and she purred in delight. "Teach you how to enjoy the water, huh?" Her amber hues had locked with his sweet eyes as he leaned over her. "I mean, perhaps. It doesn't come naturally. Maybe first, as a starter, I could teach you how to swim though? Only if you're up for it." She said calmly, hoping he'd say yes. Although, she was a bit nervous if he would agree. She hasn't taught anything in a while. Amberstone hoped nothing would happen if he did agree.

Amberstone || The River
"It doesn't look hard, but it can for certain individuals." She purred out helpfully. Forcing her smaller, muscular physique over, she had splashed a bit of water in the process. Her claws had unsheathed and dug into the mixture of sand and mud, making her have a good grip as she rolled over and stood high. "It's very simple once you get the hang of it." She smiled. "You can put yourself in. The current isn't very strong, chances of you being taken is low." Amberstone's direction came out in a teasing manner and flexed her claws, breathing in the smell of the river, attempting to soothe her nervousness. She walked a bit back, but stayed in the shallow side.

He looked over to Amberstone for reassurance and lifted his paws off the ground. He gently churned the water, sticking his nose way up in the air. He definitely looked goofy with his head way up. "Good Starclan I'm actually doing it! I'm staying above the water!" Mudfur couldn't help but let out a little laugh, sounding more like a dying robin. He pushed himself through the water over to where Amberstone was and splashed her, hoping to make her laugh and join him in his carefree moment.

BADGERPAW › {{ apprentice's den - camp }}
Having spent some extra time in the apprentice's den to catch up on his sleep, Badgerpaw wobbled out with large, glassy eyes. He may have overslept with a purpose, but he was feeling the effect fully. Blinking groggily, the tom shook out his rumpled fur before hearing familiar meows throughout camp. He could overhear Sweetpaw and Blackspots having a discussion about mentors which was something he didn't have any interest in. Rolling his blue eyes, he padded away from the den and towards the clearing as he hoped to find something to do. Whether that be talking to another feline or sitting in the sun, he was more than willing to cooperate.
Knowing Badgerpaw, cooperation was not a trait of his; he preferred to be the leader than a follower. Maybe if he stumbled upon someone who seemed more like a 'follower,' he'd have his way. As he observed his surroundings, he had spotted Partridgehop, who was sitting as nonchalant as ever by the camp entrance. Nearby was Bristletuft, a daylight warrior, who was napping. The snowshoe had a distaste for daylight warriors and it was one he'd rather not explain.
After all, each and every "daylight warrior" mooched off the clan as if they had the right to. In his eyes, it was cowardly and cynical. He wanted no part in dealing with them and a mindset like his would be hard to change.

Amberstone || The River
She was wary of every step he made. She didn't want him to slip and fall under. However, they were still in the shallow so she had nothing to fear yet. Smiling, she splashed back at him, hopping in and out of water quite gracefully. Sharply, her head snapped back to look at the tom. "To swim, you have to.. make a back and forth motion with your paws, example," she sat on her hindquarters, lifting her two paws into the air and demonstrated. She may have looking silly pawing at the air, but she continued to demonstrated, paddling her paws as if she was clawing at the air. "Maybe you can try a bit on the shallow side? I'll show you how it operates right now." She hopped forward, into the deeper side, where she would have to actually swim. Slowly, she paddled her arms and legs, demonstrating how she swam. The she-cat took deep breaths as she swam, being a calm composure as she continued to demonstrate. She kept her head high, making sure to notify him to keep his head up.

{okey c: } >>B O U L D E R P A W<< Boulderpaw laid in the sun, warming his pelt grey fur. Today had been a rather uneventful day, and seeing that most of the mentors were slacking on their duties, it had been days since he had done anything fun. Although, fun for him usually meant getting into some sort of trouble. Frostpaw and Spiderpaw had been gone for hours, and he was beginning to get slightly curious as to where they went. Somehow they managed to get out of camp without anyone finding them, and for that Boulderpaw was envious. Boulderpaw was one of the older apprentices, so his duties became a chore for him. Giving him a task that he found exciting was rather hard to do. His stomach began to growl, and he eyed the low food pile and growled to himself. "If something needs to be done, guess I will have to do it myself." He huffed and rose to his feet, deciding to go catch his own dinner.
~ M U D F U R ~ Mudfur laughed at how silly Amberstone looked and followed her lead. He wearily jumped over to the deeper side of the water, making sure to stay close to her. He churned the water in the odd way that she showed him, making sure to breathe and keep his head above the water. His head went down a few times, but he never stopped moving his feet. "This isn't too bad" He mewed, "Actually, its kind of fun..." Mudfur swirled his paws around in the water and smiled proudly at Amberstone, hoping she would tell him how good he was doing.

Amberstone || The River Taken aback by Mudfur hopping to the deeper side, she smiled brightly. However, internally she was wary of his movements, afraid he would stop any moment.
"Do not forget that if you start to get tired, you head to the land." She warned carefully.
And don't think about anything bad, Amberstone! She scolded herself and nodded,
"Hey you're doing really good for a newbie." She called out playfully and swam around him, observing how he swam. "Maybe it could do a bit of some work, but this is your first time after all. If you continue then you will most likely get better at it." Amberstone had praised the opposing warrior cheerfully, smiling at him.
The female had ducked underwater, opening her eyes carefully. Although, it was a bit blurry once again, like earlier from when she had disappeared. Being under the water had always calmed Amberstone to the max, and if she could, she could live under forever. However, being a cat meant she could only breathe air. Speaking of air, she needed some. Amberstone had swam back to the surface, breathing the air in happiness. "So.. how do you like it so far? Any difficulties?"

BADGERPAW › following BOULDERPAW .. {{ Brindlebriar }} {{ camp }}
The sight of a very familiar grey tom rising to his feet gave Badgerpaw an idea, one that could land him in a lot of trouble or commendment. Deciding to take his chances, he sprinted after Boulderpaw with a gleam of eagerness in his eyes. "Hey, Boulderpaw!" he meowed. "Where are you going? Mind if I tag along? I promise I won't cause any trouble!"
It was clear as day that wherever the young snowshoe went, trouble followed. It wasn't a revelation, it was a fact. Letting out a soft puff, he suddenly appeared at the older apprentice's side as if he were ready to enter a battle. Wherever his fellow denmate was going, he was going to follow him relentlessly. Whatever the consequences would be, they had yet to be perceived much like his empty promises.
But, hey.. no one said causing havoc was a bad thing, right?

Boulderpaw sniffed and Badgerpaws appearance next to him and rolled his eyes. "Of course you wouldn't cause any trouble." Boulderpaw knew all too well how much trouble Badgerpaw was capable of causing, and yet, he didn't really care to correct him, someone had to keep life interesting. "I was going to go see if there was any prey left in the woods, but with your big mouth there might not be any left by the time we get out if the camp!" Boulderpaw flicked the younger apprentices nose with the tip of his tail, he really didn't mind Badgerpaw all that much, he was lively, energetic, and seemed to find someway to keep life interesting all the time. "Now, if you get stuck in a badgers den, I am not saving your tail." Boulderpaw turned and emerged into the forest that surrounded the camp. It was leaf fall, so there was an extra cold nip in the air. Boulderpaw didn't really like leaf-are, but what cat did? He fluffed out his fur a little extra today to keep him warm. Glancing around the forest he made sure to keep an extra close eye on Badgerpaw.
~M U D F U R ~
Mudfur smiled and huffed for air, he was getting a little tired, his legs were definitely not used to moving this much. He paddled over to the shallow water to rest a bit. "Its not too bad, but I am most definitely not used to it." He really appreciated Amberstone's patience with him, he knew teaching someone could be stressful, especially when it came to water, something stronger than the both of them. He looked at her admiringly, the way she seemed to effortlessly glide through the water, how she could go under and back up again. "Can you catch a fish?" He asked, shaking some of the water out of his fur.
{Good Morning :3 }

Spiderpaw couldn't help but laugh; and he had already laughed so much already today, he didn't think there was every a time he had enjoyed himself so much. "Look at you!" He exclaimed happily to Frostpaw, "an easy transition from cat to fish," he said jokingly. She was something of a mystery he could have never imagined, and he loved it. "I sure wish this water was warm though". Spiderpaw padded out farther into the river until suddenly the rocks gave away without warning to him and he was left to splash around aimlessly. He flailed his paws as he let out a high pitched meow of fright and paddled his paws towards the shore. To his embarrassment, his paws felt the rocks underneath his paws within moments of his panic, and he had had nothing to worry about. The humiliated tom padded out from the water, ears hot and pelt clinging to him like a wet rat.

"Oh you're uh right!" She exclaimed, eyes wide and tail swishing with anticipation, "There are all sorts of cats, nobody is quite the same yet . . . we all have the same vision," Mouseberry explained slowly, trying to rationalize it herself and attempting not to sound awkward. Her words trailed off as they padded away from the Twolegplace and she gave Felix a nudge on the shoulder, "Uhm, thanks for coming," she said thankfully. She didn't know what to expect from her clan-mates but she knew many of them valued kin and were welcoming - with the small handful that were apathetic to the cats deciding to live a paw in each lifestyle like herself. Mouseberry was much less worried about what they would think that what Felix would think and experience, though. "When's the last time you had a good run?" She glanced over at him, rearing herself back a bit with her haunches up. "Maybe he needs to feel the wind in his fur," she thought.

Amberstone || The River
Amberstone's heart had almost stopped in relief noticing he had swam back to the shallow, knowing he wasn't too determined to remove his fear and push away the rules of safety in the process. "Perhaps? Surprisingly, there isn't a lot of fish in this river. The ones in here are highly skittish too." She hummed in thought before nodding to herself. "It is possible that I can catch one. Frostpaw's heart lurched at the sight of Spiderpaw going under the water. She was frozen to the place she stood. When she saw Spiderpaw resurface and standing, she let out a huge sigh of relief. She couldn't help but giggle at how goofy he looked, all small and wet. "You look like you tried to be a fish." She carefully padded to where he stood in the shallow water and pressed her body against his, sharing her warmth. "It is a little extra chilly in the water." She mewed, lapping at it, cooling her throat. She loved the feeling she got when she was with Spiderpaw, so carefree, so alive. She wished they could be like this forever, but she knew that one day they'd have to go back to camp and relive their old boring mundane lives. For now though, she was completely content with how things were. "Are you alright?" She asked, looking him over. "You didn't hurt your paw or anything?" She brushed her paw against the smooth stones beneath her, bringing up some dirt from the bottom of the river.

Mudfur shrugged his shoulders. "I've never caught a fish before. I don't know if they'd even taste good, to be perfectly honest. Plus they look a little odd." Mudfur padded out of the water and sat at the shore. The water was a tad bit chilly and it was beginning to get to him. The coldness of the air plus the wetness of the water was enough to chill his bones. He shook the water out of his fur and watched Amberstone swimming as though it came as second nature to her.

She listened to the young apprentice ramble on about her mentor's lack of attention to her, and the reason she even approached Blackspots in the first place. The black and white spotted cat merely twitched her whiskers at the mention of her looking 'pretty' in the small she-cat's eyes.
Then Sweetpaw finally got to the point, which Blackspots' mind was paying more attention to this time than before. A hunting patrol? She did see a few cats leave towards the territory, to she must've missed the chance to go along with them. She can agree though, that going hunting hunting is an excellent idea. Prey is isn't going to drop dead for the Clan to munch on with any skill.
"Yes I think so, however they must be long gone into the territory by now. However... I wouldn't mind hunting right about now."

Sweetpaw || Camp The youngin's ears had twitched at the sound of Blackspots mentioning hunting. Perhaps the older female would go out hunting and take the apprentice with her. There was only one way to find out. Sweetpaw believed that so far, the warrior was quite moody. However this didn't stop her from continuing to make an effort to get Blackspots to loosen up just a bit.
She rose from her crouched position and pawed the floor with anxiousness. "Hunting? Then why don't we go together? Maybe you can teach me how to hunt! I'm sure we could catch something together, right?" Sweetpaw thought a bit, and nodded to herself. Maybe if Blackspots takes me, she'll like me! That will certainly and hopefully work! Slowly, the apprentice's face grew a broad smile, and she looked up to Blackspots. "I like you already!"
