Frostpaw sat in camp, her paw itching. A few moons ago, she fell out of a tree and to this day, her paw slightly throbbed. She lifted her front paw to her mouth, licking her pad. Her paws had been weirdly dry lately, and she was thinking about seeing the medicine cat about it, yet she was reserved due to the fear of being laughed at for being a wuss. She looked around for Spiderpaw, they had grown close lately, and she silently didn't like not knowing where he was. He was one of the few cats that she felt like she could really talk to and not be judged.
She yawned and rose to her paws, her stomach growling. she looked at the fresh-kill pile with yearning eyes. It had been a while since she had eaten and now seemed like a good time.

Dovespeck let out a loud purr as she looked over the edge of the gorge. it was almost spring time, and seeing the wooded area around Skyclan camp back in bloom made her heart happy. As she took a deep breath, the smell of wet dirt, warm air, and green plants filled her nostrils.
She lifted her head and wondered when the last time someone had checked the borders or the territory. She didn't expect anything out of the ordinary, yet she found her self slightly nervous about checking. Maybe going back to camp and asking another cat to go with her would be best. She nodded to herself and started off to the camp, her steps light and happy.
