 Stormtrail
[ Camp & Leaf Fall ] Stormtrail's brow furrowed, he felt the need for revenge as keenly as anyone. Nightpaw had been his apprentice- whom he had sent out to gather herbs because he'd been too busy. Had he been there, had he taken the time to search with her, then maybe she'd still be alive. The guilt had burrowed its way into him, and the temptation to just ambush those mangey foxhearted monsters from the twoleged place was strong.
But, there was something of a tingle in his spine saying no no, wrong, this is wrong. Stormtrail, for once, elected to ignore it. He'd given up the gut instincts when he'd left warrior life behind. "If we gather a strong enough front, we could ensure they don't mess with us ever again. But, Badger is mine" A low growl rumbled from his throat and for a moment, with his spine straightened and head held high, Stormtrail felt like the warrior he'd been. |

is meddo cat apprentice open ?? i cant tell, [ Yes and no? Nightpaw was the former medicine cat apprentice, but was killed by the leader of the twolegplace cats. (The owner of Nigthpaw also went inactive and never replied to likes and etc. so we decided to kill off the apprentice.) The position is open, but only if we role-play out the process of Stormtrail receiving another apprentice via kit or outsider.] |

[ I see Badger being very selfish and kinda ensuring the best for his followers and not the rest of the group. He has some really iffy policies. Perhaps he has Nightpaw captured for ransom in hopes to get territory, but she fights back and he just downright murders her for simply disobeying her captor. Your cat could get fed up and want a better life in SkyClan and hey, they really need a medicine cat apprentice right now.]
[ Another idea would be that after the battle, they no longer see Stormtrail fit to be a medicine cat and summon a kittypet/loner/rogue to take his place. Someone who wouldn't leave their post on the cause of anger and blood thirst. But only if Fae is chill with that.] |

it could be a bit of both, perhaps? said loner maybe turns coat, and if you want them to join before the battle, they could arrive with some information about what skyclan's up against? or maybe they change sides during the battle, i dunno
then after some Trust Building btwn said cat & the rest of the clan, they'd be accepted/taken as the meddo cat?? maybe the cat has some sort of disability that prevents them from being a warrior or maybe they genuinely want to be a medicine cat :0

They could join before the battle, that's chill. Maybe they had a similar vision to Stormtrail? If you don't mind, I kinda want there to be an invisible force also pushing them to join SkyClan, because man, they're going to need all the help they can get in the next few seasons. I see Blizzardstar having them as a prisoner for a half moon or a moon, then when she sees that the cats don't care for the traitor, she believes that they meant to help. She could apprentice them as a warrior at first, then they could break a leg or something. Or if Stormtrail pushes for it, they can go ahead and be a medicine cat apprentice. :3 |

that would actually be pretty cool?? starclan deciding that skyclan needs all the help, especially /medical/, and showing said cat signs and dreams and leading them to the clan
perhaps for a disability, the cat could have bad astigmatism? not to the point they're blind, but maybe they're apprenticed as a warrior first but are having a Heck of a time trying to do warrior things
and maybe to push the invisible force further, stormtrail could have an omen or a vision or something, or it could just happen naturally with blizzardstar & stormtrail deciding the clan needs a new medicine cat; and this former loner is struggling to be a warrior

im thinking a tom-cat named luka, who's apprentice name is hollowpaw : o maybe a little grouchy and sharp-tongued but genuinely empathetic and caring about other's problems, even if he's a bit of a log when it comes to being social. also i think it'd be fun for him to be a bit incredulous about starclan, yet be pretty close to them at the same time? and id think that eventually he wouldnt be able to ignore the signs and the stars and he'd believe, but not after a period of loner-learned suspicion
any other ideas on him or input?

Boulderpaw swatted at a fly that buzzed around his head. He had been out gathering new bedding for the elders, replacing the old nests, and now flies seemed to love his coat. No matter how much he seemed to wash, the smell of mold just wouldn't leave him. His nose wrinkled in disgust and he silently cursed to himself.
"Maybe I'll go jump in the river or something." He laughed to himself at the thought of jumping in the freezing water, and coming back to camp looking like a drowned rat.
He shifted his gaze around camp, growing self-conscious if his smell. His eyes lighted on Amberstone, his mentor, and he squinted. The she-cat had the nack for brutal honesty, so maybe he would go ask her if he smelt like week old bed.
As he rose to his paws, a light breeze blew and slightly ruffled his pelt. He flattened his ears in irritation. "If Amberstone hadn't smelt anything before, she would definitely smell it now." He thought in irritation.
"Hey Amberstone." He mewed respectfully as soon as he reached the she-cat. |
