The staff members have the right to change and add rules if the opportunity is reasonable. Suggestions for new rules will always be taken into consideration. This role-play requires a minimum of three sentences per role-play post. This role-play also has a special system that allows certain events to alter the story in a randomized way for a more dramatic turn of events. In these cases, the fate of a cat may turn for the worst. If you are not willingly to allow this to happen to your characters, please refrain from joining. ʀᴀɪɴʟᴇᴀғ 🍁 is also willingly to answer any questions and address concerns via private message.
◆ Requirements
Regular members must be on four days a week and for at least an hour. Out of character discussions will not count towards activity. Staff members and those with cats in high positions or plot positions will be required to be on five days per week and an hour per day. Please let us know about absences so we may put you on hiatus. This role-play will have detailed and complicated plots. If you cannot complete these kinds of plots, please refrain from joining.
◆ Joining
Please join with the appropriate form and appropriate characters. If I find your form unsatisfactory, you may change it and try reapplying. For specifics on kits and queens, please refer to the Clan Systems on the joining page. For apprentices, I will accept the maximum of two apprentices per person up until we reach the limit of ten apprentices total. For every apprentice, you must join with a warrior. I will not require even genders, but I ask that you attempt to make them even. You may request relationships with other members if they are open. Please keep all cats as close to the characteristics as possible.
◆ Consequences
Be aware of the consequences of your actions. When a rule is broken by a member, they will receive a verbal warning. Three verbal warnings will equal a star. When a members receives a star, they will receive a punishment. This can range from apprentices being held back a moon, to a mentor losing their apprentice, or demotion of a rank. Three stars will equal a deletion. At that point, you must wait two weeks to rejoin. The prefixes of your cats will be reserved for that time if you show interest of rejoining. |

r o l e - p l a y i n f o r m a t i o n i i Below are systems the role-play will follow. There is more information in the incoming posts, so we kindly ask that you read those posts as well. The staff will be able to answer any questions you have. c l a n s y s t e m s ◆ Mentors & Apprentices
This section may be a bit bigger than expected, but all of it is related to one another and therefore it makes the most sense to combine them. When a member joins with a warrior, they may be given an apprentice. However, we will not give warriors under eighteen moons an apprentice unless there are no other options or they prove to be mature and show leadership capabilities a few days into the role-play. This does not mean you need to make your character this way, as they may get an apprentice eventually. Keep in mind some warriors may never mentor an apprentice, as either they are incapable or there are better options. Warriors that are about fifty-six moons or older will be assumed to have gained an apprentice if they have displayed leadership qualities. This allows us to spread out apprentices and have some kind of history already going in the role-play.
Apprentices must complete certain requirements. The requirements are not meant to be an obstacle, but are chances to develop a character and just have general fun. For apprentices aiming to become warriors, they must have two battle training sessions and two hunting training sessions. They must also complete two assessments, a battle, and visit the Moonstone/pool. For apprentices eleven moons or older, they must complete one battle training session and one hunting training sessions.  They will have one assessment, their warrior assessment, and a battle. The battle can be anything from a fox attack, to a border skirmish, or an organized battle. The cat must fight an enemy, however, they are not required to win. The admins of this role-play are willing to work with everyone on this and allow plenty of activity to go on for everyone to meet these requirements. Regarding medicine cat apprentices, they must complete two sessions of battle training, two sessions of hunting training, one session of medical training, and one session of spiritual training. While medicine cats are indeed the healers and shaman of the Clan, they have been shown to fight in the books on several occasions. We find it necessary for them to do this because it not only makes sense out of the role-play, but in the role-play as well. Considering medicine cat training can take a few moons longer and there will be several instances where a medicine cat apprentice can learn about healing, we feel that the requirements are necessary.
It is important to mention the relationship between mentors and apprentices as well as the behavior of both cats. Neglect to train an apprentice will not remain a secret. Whether this stems from the mentor's owner being inactive or the mentor appearing to have better things to do. By gaining an apprentice for your character, you gain the chance of potentially being deputy. However, if you abuse this privilege by not doing what is expected, you will easily lose those privileges and lose those chances. Now, for members who own apprentices, be wise of how you make your apprentice act. Disobedience is alright in doses, but if the apprentice completely disregards orders from their mentor, then the mentor may be punished in the role-play. This does not mean the member who owns the mentor is in trouble, but because the apprentice and warrior combination seems to not be appropriate, a new combination will be assigned.
◆ Patrols
When it comes to patrols, the deputy will arrange them for the week on Saturdays. They will be placed on the border page. This is so members are not attempting to gather cats last minute and gives everyone the opportunity to role-play something other than being in camp and looking for a partner. Mentors and their apprentices will most likely be assigned to the same patrol. If a member is absent that day, the patrol is merely supposed to act as if the cat is present, but will not have any control over their character. Considering time will be an important factor, it would be best to watch the admins or head moderator change the time so you known when to "leave" for your patrol.
◆ Deputies
Deputies will follow tradition as it does in the books. While this may be a bit that can fit in the rules, we feel it is more appropriate to follow suit here. Deputies will be chosen from trusted members in the starting stages of the role-play. When we feel more comfortable, we will then allow newer members to have a chance for their cat to be deputy. However, it should be made clear that any attempt to create the "perfect" deputy will thwart your hopes of achieving such a thing. This does include the persistent and aggravating mentions or hints of your character wanting to be deputy. While a mention once in a while is alright, bringing it up on every page will harm your chances. In fact, narrative speaking, it shows that your character has an unhealthy obsession with the role and will certainly bring some awareness from fellow Clanmates, harming the cat's reputation itself. When age comes to mind, the youngest that a deputy may possibly be will most likely be around thirty-six moons. Considering the cats can live well past one hundred moons, we feel that this is an acceptable age.
◆ Expecting Queens
We have decided to allow queens into this role-play, but on a few conditions. You must ask first and you need a father for the kits. You are allowed to ask members if they have a character that will be willing to be the father, but you may not pester them. No means no and you can wait. If a member agrees, then the two cats must interact for two moons before the queen becomes pregnant. This allows development and it allows the admins to see if a member has changed their character to suit the romance. If the character is completely different, then the admins may intervene and call it off. Development is key, but there is right way to develop a character and a wrong way. Permanent queens that are not pregnant or do not have kits are allowed. We will not accept orphan kits unless it was approved by an admin for a plot prior to creation of the kit. If you desire to learn about the litter size and how many litters a queen may have, please check the chance charts.
◆ Forbidden Romances
Romance is not the main priority in this role-play. To ensure that, we have organized a structure in how a forbidden romance will be presented to the staff as well as the handling of said forbidden romance.  Each Clan may have one forbidden romance until the current generation of apprentices become warriors. The amount of time relating to this is about twelve moons in the role-play. We will not count weeks due to the chance of there being a timeskip. The members requesting the forbidden romance must fill out the form below:

We will allow the exception of romances that contribute to the main plot. Please bear in mind that we will not always deny forbidden romances that are simply for the sake of doing them. They can be occasionally enjoyable, but there needs to be more than two people involved in some way. If there are any kits resulting from a forbidden romance and it's discovered, they will face prejudice. It is not an attack on the member, but it is simply how some cats will react.
◆ Outsiders
Outsiders in this case will include, but not limited to: rogues, loners, and kittypets.
When an outsider travels into a Clan's territory, they cannot simply do as they please. An outsider must also have a purpose. This does not mean that every outsider will be accepted into the Clan. If you have an outsider, they must be placed into a Clan territory so we can keep track of where they are. They will not be discovered unless they are reckless or the owner allows us. They cannot suddenly vanish and walked into another Clan's territory. The owner of the outsider must let the admin of the Clan know when they desire to move their outsider somewhere else and where. You do not have to role-play your outsider constantly, as they can disappear into their own territory for a while and re-emerge, but we must have some indication of when they are Clan territory.
◆ NPCs
After a member has been role-playing for a week, they may trial new cats that they may want to create. The trial will last for two weeks and if they wish to create them as their legitimate character, then they must fill out a proper form. If they find that the character is not suitable for them, the character will become an NPC for the Clan. The form for an NPC is similar to a legitimate form, save for some changes. r o l e - p l a y i n f o r m a t i o n i i i c o n t i n u i t y To ensure that the role-play and the overall narrative remains clean and smooth, a procedure has been created to combat any narrative issues. Whether it be someone leaving or someone being demoted, the issue of their characters' stories and the relationships with the other cats will be handled by the staff of that Clan. Every situation is different, however we do offer the basics. For someone who has simply left, whether be announced or unannounced, filler characters can be created depending on the  original character's standing in the Clan. If the cat had a mate or kits, we will create a character that can genetically match the kin, but will act slightly different. In the times where a character can die due to war, famine, or disease, they will be deemed injured or ill if the person has a chance of coming back. If not, then the cats will be killed off. The person will need to create new cats, and while it is tedious, it is certainly better than everyone making their cats act as if the person's characters never existed. We are sure this will probably anger people, but if you are not alright with this happening to you, then we kindly suggest you not join. If the cat was in a high position, they will simply be killed off. For someone who leaves without informing us and they have a high rank, it is quite rude and enough to strip them of that privilege. c h a n c e c h a r t s In this role-play, we will be using a system called "chance charts." The concept is simple, we have arranged charts to display the chances of something happening to a character in different situations. Everyone will have a character impacted by these charts in some way, and there will be no exceptions in normal circumstances. The only exceptions would be a character needing to be kept alive for a plot or something similar. Nevertheless, it will be a rare occurrence. We will be using a virtual dice roll and a virtual coin flip. Admins will screenshot the results and hold then for two days, then are free to delete them. Time and date must be shown on these screenshots. Below are the charts, please take some time to read them. Illnesses Below are the chances for a character to get sick from an outbreak or a seasonal outbreak. For an abnormal outbreak, all cats will be considered and a coin will be flipped for each individual to determine if they catch it or not. For a seasonal outbreak, only half of the Clan will go through this process. From that point, a dice is rolled to determine the severity of illness for each individual. There are six stages. Kit and elders will have two dice rolled as they have double the chance to catch it. The dice and coin will be flipped twice for them. Once the decision is made, it will be role-played out. Admins will have their secondary leader throw the dice or flip the coin to avoid any cheating. ➥ The first stage is a cough and slight symptoms. They can be easily cured before the next Gathering.
➥ The second stage is mild symptoms where they may take longer than two weeks real time to recover. They also become slightly contagious and are restricted from hunting patrols to prevent the illness spreading via prey.
➥ The third stage with full blown whitecough symptoms. Cats are restricted to camp, but may help with small tasks like rebuilding the camp walls.
➥ The fourth stage where the cat begins to show signs of greencough. They are restricted from assisting with tasks near the nursery and elders den.
➥ The fifth stage where greencough is confirmed. They are confined to the medicine cat's den and must rest. Symptoms are mild to severe.
➥ The sixth and final stage where the cat dies from greencough. Battles Battles can be bloody and take many lives, however they can also be quick, simple, and result to little or no injuries. While any cat can die at any time during a battle, we have decided to make it less likely for death for small battles. Therefore, battles over borders or small strips of territory like Sunningrocks will only go to stage four unless there is a consistent conflict between the two Clans like war. However, battles near the gorge or thunderpath will have a special coin flip to determine if they will meet the terms of a small battle or large battle due to the danger of the location. To prevent a Clan losing more warriors than necessary, the death toll for a Clan will be five in big battles in three in small battles. A small battle patrol must consist of seven cats while a big patrol must consist of eleven. ➥ The first stage where the cat only suffers minor scratches. If anything, fur will be ripped out. Ears may be torn as well.
➥ The second stage where the cat only suffers a few minor gashes and blood is visible. They do require some medical treatment.
➥ The third stage where the cat suffers from larger and worse gashes. They are not at risk of death, but infection can easily set in if not treated quickly.
➥ The fourth stage where the cat suffers complete bodily injuries and needs assistance for traveling back to camp. They may risk death by blood loss if they prolong treatment.
➥ The fifth stage in which the cat may suffer from a major injury like blinding, broken bones, and other major injuries in addition to major gashes in which blood loss is an issue. They must be immediately sent back to camp or face death.
➥ The sixth stage in which the wounds are far too much and the cat dies. They do not have to suffer a broken bone or a wound similar, but they have either not made it in time for treatment, lost too much blood, or suffered a severe blow on the scene of the battle. Litter Sizes In the case of a real matter, she-cats normally can birth up to nine kittens. However, we will keep to the average, so the maximum amount of kits a queen can have is six. Genders and descriptions will be up to owners of the parents, but the size will be determined here. A mutation, defect, and mortality generator will also be up to the parents, but please keep them in moderation and have an accurate portrayal. There is truly no need in thoroughly explaining as it is pretty self-explanatory. The admin will flip a coin and if the coin lands on heads, the litter will be bigger than three. If the coin lands on tails, the litter will be smaller. The admin will then throw a dice to determine how many. Keep in mind that if the coin hit tails, the number can not be higher than three and if the coin landed on heads, the litter can not be bigger than six. The owners of the parents reserve the right to have one kit if they wish, but if they want more than one, they will need to go through this process. The maximum litters a she-cat can have is three. |

SkyClan went through a three month timeskip. During this timeskip, a greencough outbreak occurred and Blizzardstar lost a life. Chickenwing, the deputy, and many others perished during the outbreak. A new deputy has yet to be assigned, but it will happen in due time. Many apprentices will be receiving their names and one kit will begin their training. Juniperleap has had her kits. They are called Basilkit, Blazekit, Cherrykit, and Poppykit. Applefrost has also had her kits. They are called Mudkit, Breezekit, and Heatherkit.

With his build he is agile and a swift hunter, but he lacks that muscle and strength that many of his clan-mates seem to have for battle, so he has to make sure he is always practicing his use of speed and not being clumsy when doing so. He generally just doesn't seem to care and isn't ambitious about becoming a great or well respected warrior. Just going with the flow of things and being true to himself is what he's about.

She is very loyal, determined, and quick to act but Leopardcloud can also sometimes be seen as bossy when she gets frustrated, lashing out at the closest cat and taking action too quickly. He has a burnt orange colored pelt with a bushy tail and chest and has deeper shades of red on his tail and layered throughout his coat. His eyes are a pale green shade, nearly always kept narrow in suspicion of those around him. He is very distrustful and would likely be the last cat you would ever be able to get information out of. He keeps everything about himself quite private. He isn't mean as some might think, but he seems to give off this aura of cold energy. He is a dutiful cat and will fight for any one of his clan-mates, putting his life at risk for anybody.

s n o w t a i l | 9 8 m o o n s [ feisty & level-headed & enthusiastic ] Snowtail was once a very thick-furred, lithe and able feline but nowadays her white fur is thinning and her amber eyes dimmer than her Warrior days due to her decreasing vision. Her ears are thoroughly nicked from years of scuffles and battles, and she is missing claws off her front paws that will never grow back. Although her appearance is quite plain and she is frail nowadays, Snowtail is one of the feistiest and loud-mouthed, personality-filled cats in SkyClan. She has plenty to say to those who will listen, and never seems to let her age come in the way of her energy and enthusiasm. She grew up with both her parents, Frostdust and Pebbleheart, along with her brother Grayfoot who had been her den-mate in the Elder's den until just a few moons ago.

It may not be seen as attractive, but it's what she has and it doesn't bother her one bit. Silver grey is the most prominent color found upon her pelt, streaking from the top of her ears to her long tail. Faint mackerel tabby markings decorate her pelt but grow muddled with the scattered patches of pale ginger. There are also other grey-brown patches that are much more common on Partridgehop's pelt. From her chin to her paws, her fur is completely white and left untouched like the socks found on her hind legs. Lastly, this she-cat has tall, tufted ears and muddy amber eyes. A canny feline, Patridgehop is fairly good at being sly with her movements. Quick-witted, she is alert at all times and isn't the type to listen to one's advice or criticism. She doesn't take criticism lightly and sees it as a jab at her which will upset her, no doubt there. Because of her difficulities with criticism and advice, this silver patched tabby holds her guard up high and can grow irritated easily if someone tries to break it down. This guard of hers is a protector to Partridgehop and it's one of the few things she's not willing to let go of, regardless of the situation. She may not be the fun, adventurous type, but this warrior could care less. She puts her own well-being before others and some day, that will lead to a horrible, horrible mistake. It may be because of their tipped silver-white coat or their compelling green eyes. Medium in size, this feline has a short, sleek coat and large ears with somewhat rounded tips. Their pelt starts out as a bright silver-white in color, but it is soon toned down by shading. The darkened markings found on their pelt cascade down their back, shoulders, and tail. These can also be found on their forehead and the outer part of their legs. A flush pink nose and long white whiskers adorn this feline.  b a d g e r p a w | 7 m o o n s [ arrogant & determined & gallant ] Large and slightly muscular, Badgerpaw is composed of pale and dark colors that all snowshoe cats embody. The greater part of him is covered by a shade of pale cream/tan, reaching from the top of his head to his rump. His tail is long and sleek, appearing dark seal brown in color which matches his ears and a small patch on his hind left leg, near the ankle. On his face, Badgerpaw has a tan and brown mask that starts at the top of his head and spreads down to beneath his eyes, then to the side of his face. A brown spot is found on the right side of his light pink nose. This mask isn't the dominant feature compared to the snowy white splash that comes between his eyes and makes its way down to his chest. He has white socks on all four legs, too. Clear, peaked blue eyes pop against his multicolored pelt. The first thing one learns about Badgerpaw is the fact he's simply arrogant; there's no way around it, he's as arrogant as one can get. He definitely has an air of pride about himself that's hard to explain, making him insensitive towards others. It's simple; he doesn't know nor care about other's feelings and he will be blunt about it. There's no doubt his thick skin has allowed a brave side to develop for this tom. Not to mention he's deathly loyal to his clan, but not one cat in specific. It's more for those that have passed before him and did all of the work, compared to those that surround him. Maybe he's not fond of his generation or is merely picky with his clan mates based on their own personal beliefs. Badgerpaw is willing to persevere any trouble that comes his way no matter the consequences. If it benefits him and hands him strength, he'll take it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, this causes him to act childish with his decisions and paths he has taken so far in his short life. He calls it having enough youth to last him until he's on his last leg, though most see it the other way around. The good thing about this is that he's definitely gallant and daring to face what's given to him, thanks to his shrewd standpoint. Remember-- one cannot give him credit for every right decision he's made yet he'll take it anyways. He's narsissitic like that, all about that self image and making sure he looks the best. He spends so much time preening that one might wonder how he gets any sort of work done but he does. He does it for the ladies, for the more females he has looking at him, the better he feels. He's all about that flirtation, not so much about the sticking around once he's gotten what he wants. He makes for a good runner, and a better hunter. Hard paw pads keep him safe from the stones of the gorge, and powerful hind legs keep him running circles around some of the more house cat warriors in the clan. His one hang up is that he loves the pampering he gets from his twolegs, and as such he won't commit to the Clan fully. But, then again, he never commits to anything anyway. Bisexual. other:  Moosepaw | 7 m o o n s [ Stubborn & Determined & Hearty ] Moosepaw isn't so much large as he is bull headed. Well, he is large, but not much larger than the average cat. A big-boned brown tom with amber eyes and a short, stubby tail. His ears are slightly too large for his head and torn ragged at the tips, creating "antlers" of sorts. Probably because he tries to hit everything with his head first. A trait he's had since birth, according to his parents. His left front paw is white and he's got a smattering of white on his right leg but it is no more than a few droplets as if someone flicked paint on him. he will Fight You™. Hot headed and not easily redirected, you just push him in the direction of who you want bowled over and Moosepaw will probably comply if he's in a rage. Which is often enough. He's wild, and relatively unconcerned with things like "truces" and "allies". You make him mad, you face the consequences. He should probably stop hitting things with his head though, definitely going to cause damage to his brain at some point. He's pretty simple, doesn't need fancy words when a good grunt will say just as much. He laughs loudly, and growls louder. Open to all relations. other:  Poppybreath | 68 m o o n s [ Melancholic & Maternal & Sweet ] Poppybreath is a long furred dilute tortoiseshell molly with apple green eyes. Though her pelt is mostly soft blue-greys and creams, she is dappled with coal black spots, like ash had fallen and seared her pelt. There is the occaisonal bright ginger fleck, ususally near a spot of black, as if fire was flaring up from the ashes. Her eyes though, despite the relative softness of her appearance, are a vibrant green. A warrior in body but a queen at heart, Poppybreath longed for a litter of her own. Eventually she found a mate, but it was later in her life. She only ever had one litter of which none survived. It broke her heart and as a result she went into her shell. Her mate left her not long after, leaving her alone. Now, as she nears her twilight years, she longs for an adventure, or something to capture her attention. She may never have a family that she wanted but she has spent her life devoted to her Clan and if she has her way, she will go quietly into the night without a fuss. She does hate a fuss. Open to all. other: Ashenthroat | 40 m o o n s [ Argumentative & Familial & Steadfast ] Ashenthroat is technically what one would call a blue mackerel tabby, however one might describe him as a more chocolate pelted cat than anything. A base coat of light cream-grey with vivid chocolatey tabby stripes and yellow eyes, he is a striking cat to look at. Short furred, it is true, he does not fair too well in winter though he does well enough in the other three seasons. A muscular frame, with stocky legs and a strong chest, Ashenthroat is a very good example of a warrior who keeps up with his training. Steadfast in most aspects of his life, Ashenthroat is a loyal cat. He is a friend for life, and generally forgives most transgressions. He does not know what to do with cats who are too young to be apprentices, though he imagines a family in which he could pass on his morals and mindset to. He may have messed that up a bit, but all roads lead to love in the end.
