Hello and welcome to the CoyoteClan character and discussion page. Here you can store additional information on your characters such as; an expanded personality, photo reference, history and more! You can discuss or quest character relations here as some might want to work out how cats get along before actually rping them. Along with that, plot discussion and suggests can be worked on here.  Gullswoop : History -
Gullswoop was originally born a rogue. His mother was a rogue named Chloe and his father was unknown. His brother was named Rocky. Until Gullswoop was around six moons old, his family lived separate from both CoyoteClan and the Two-leg Place cats. They eventually wandered CoyoteClan territory where they were confronted by a hostile CoyoteClan patrol. Chloe, his mother, turned to flee back to the two-leg place and ended up being hit by a monster on the thunder-path. Scared and unsure what to do, him and his brother were eventually caught by the patrol. The patrol took pity on the young cats and took them back to camp where they became members and apprentices. Later on, Rockypaw was killed in a fight against a fox, despite attempting to flee. Gullswoop ultimately blamed Rockypaw’s mentor for his death and this would quickly develop into hatred for the whole clan. Seeing that the young apprentice seemed misguided and violent, the medicine cat at the time, Spottedcloud, took Gullswoop as the medicine cat apprentice, even faking a sign from StarClan so that he could train with her instead of as a warrior, as she feared that it would bring out the hatred he held. Despite her efforts, Gullswoop’s opinion of the clan never got better. He continued to have a negative view of the clan and by the time Spottedcloud died, he was ready to begin his plot to destroy the clan.
Personality In-Depth -
Gullswoop is a very cold and calculating cat. He acts grumpy and often bitter towards his clan-mates, though usually keeps up an image of cat with kinder intentions. He is very manipulative, knowing how to pull the strings of most cats to make things go the way he desires. One of the major reasons he’s able to do this is also largely because of the extreme amount of patience he has. He’s willing to wait moons if it means a plan will work. Gullswoop is a grudge-holder and vengeful. He won’t let go of something easily, especially cats that cross him or those he cares for. Despite the cruelness he holds, he does have a softer side towards weaker cats and kits. Weaker cats often remind him of his brother and he finds kits to be innocent, even if they are clan-born.

Character Trivia -
- Gullswoop is soft on his apprentice, Horsepaw. Horsepaw reminds him of his deceased brother, Rockypaw, as he was timid and weak.
- Though he is a dark and hateful cat, Gullswoop has never personally killed another cat. He believes himself to be above that and instead uses others to accomplish such deeds. Usually utilizing the faith clan cats have in StarClan.
- Gullswoop does believe in StarClan, despite being so against CoyoteClan. He views them as evil though and never takes their actual messages or warnings seriously.
- He trained as a warrior apprentice for around two moons under Silverdapple. However, he soon was taken in after Spottedcloud claimed to have found the feather of a gull hanging from the entrance of her den and declared it was a sign from StarClan for him to be a medicine cat.
- Though he makes a better healer, Gullswoop does know some stuff about hunting and fighting and isn’t too terrible at it.
- Gullswoop has usually done the best he can when healing. Mainly to build up his credibility amongst the clan.

- Gullswoop decides to head out on a herb patrol with Horsepaw, Flametail, and Aspenpaw to collect borage leaves at the hollow patch.

 Pebbleclaw :
History -Pebbleclaw was born in the clan to Ashfire and Bearfang. Ashfire, his mother, was a kind and soft-hearted cat. She was very loving and expressive. Bearfang was quite the opposite. While he wasn’t a terrible father, he was a moody cat in general and often didn’t express emotion easily. Pebbleclaw was closer to his father, taking after him in many ways. His mother died almost right after he became an apprentice. He fell into a bit of a depression after that and only came out of it as he grew closer to Mousepaw, who would later become Mousedash. It took a while for the two to become mates, even after becoming warriors. This was largely due to Pebbleclaw’s own refusal to say or do anything about his feelings and also because he thought she like a different cat. In the end, the two became mates around the ages of 21 moons old. When Pebbleclaw was 22 moons, his father, Bearfang, was killed by a rattlesnake that he didn’t see at the poppy clearing. At 23 moons old, Pebbleclaw and Mousedash had their kits, Ashkit and Fangkit. Unfortunately, Mousedash grew sick and weak after birth and died a few days later. Pebbleclaw has since been rather closed up. He was there for his kits but not as actively as he could have been. He never took another mate and still often keeps to himself and his family. Personality In-Depth -
Now a grumpy old cat, Pebbleclaw has little patience for anything or anyone. He’s been rather broken down by his losses through life and is very closed off from the rest of his clan. The warrior doesn’t like to talk about the past much and it takes a lot for him to even mention Mousedash. Deep down, he’s still hurting and just trying his best to cover up old wounds. He does have a rather imaginative side to him. He’s a great story-teller, if one can persuade him into telling it. This skill largely developed during his time with his mother, who was also quite creative, and has stuck with him ever since. While he might seem like a grouch, he does have some redeeming qualities other than his imagination. For one, he’s protective and caring of his clan-mates, especially his kits. Though he does have a difficult time showing it.

Character Trivia -- His stories come in wide varieties. His own favorite is the story his mother used to tell him about a bird that turned into a cat. He does enjoy story telling and despite his grumpy ways, it can be quite easy to get him to on a good day. It’s one of the reasons he looks forward to being in the elder’s den.
- He named his kits after his parents. Mainly since Mousedash was too sick to.
- Pebbleclaw holds a small bit of distrust towards the medicine cats in general. Feeling like the could have saved his mate.
- He tends to stay away from Poppy Clearing because of the snakes and his father’s death.
- Pebbleclaw is an excellent fisher, terrible hunter, and decent fighter.

 Laketalon :
History -
Laketalon was born in the clan to Oakfrost and Shrewfur. Her parents have since split (discuss with rpers cx ) and are no longer mates. She had two brothers, Whooperclaw and Boarears. The three were rather close growing up so it came as a hard hit to Laketalon when both of her brothers died after fighting a group of rogues. They were able to chase them off the territory but returned home with severe wounds and eventually died from them. Laketalon has had a rather normal life otherwise. Personality In-Depth -
Kind and generally well-meaning, Laketalon is a trustworthy cat and warrior. She’s up for helping cats when they need it but is by no means naive. Laketalon is actually quite wise and sharp despite seeming too trusting. This being said she is also strong-willed and usually doesn’t give up her views or opinions with ease. However she is a bit quiet and not generally a loud cat. Most the time she doesn’t push her opinions onto others even if she does voice them. Laketalon also dislikes being aggressive and can be seen as quite the people-pleaser as she often looks for ways out of confrontation rather than facing it head on. Some even consider her to be a bit cowardly because of this aspect. Though she may avoid fighting, Laketalon is not actually a coward.

Character Trivia -
- While she loves both of her parents equally, she just happens to greatly look up to and respect her father.
- Ever since her brothers were killed by rogues, she has been more wary of outsiders coming to the clan. She prefers the clan to be left alone.
- She also greatly respected Willowstar, the former leader known for her kindness. She aspires to be like her one day.
- Laketalon is greatly against Mothstar’s plan and his more aggressive ways. She doesn’t say it much though so not many cats know this.
- She believes highly in StarClan but often doubts the abilities of Gullswoop to interpret their signs. She feels the medicine cat might make more mistakes than the clan may know about.
Character News -
- Laketalon goes out to the southern border on a patrol with Burrface, Ashwhisker, Figclaw, Brightwing and Bluestrike. They investigate an old fox den that has been abandoned and continue on with the patrol.
- They discuss their concerns about Mothstar’s rumored plans. Laketalon expresses her concerns, mainly agreeing with Ashwhisker, as the two find it to be a bad idea and worry about what the cost will be to the clan.

Plot Suggestion/Question: So..... what happened to Willowstar? Did she die of natural causes? Or did Gullswoop and Mothstar plan something. Maybe Laketalon finds out about it? Or Horsepaw finds out that Mothstar was involved but doesn't find out about Gullswoop. Or maybe that's what the sign that Gullswoop creates is. Either laketalon or Horsepaw (Or anyone in the clan) receives the fabricated sign that Mothstar murdered Willowstar but there would be no indication of Gullswoop's role. Maybe all along the clan thought that Willowstar died from a rouge attack or something. I don't really know ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I was just thinking about it. If anything doesn't make sense let me know.
