MapleClan
▸♚◂
You stroll forwards, the lovely nature of the forest surounding you. You can hear the birds chirping cheery, a light bounce in your step. You aproach a streaming river, the blue water flowing wildly. You notice a few flat stones sticking out of the river, and you carefully but quickly jump accros to the oher side. You do not have a single clue where you're going, no idea, no intentions. Some feeling in your stomach guides you, perhaps it's StarClan's wish? You see a huge maple-tree before you, it's green leafs russeling in the wind. Around it, there's a strange formation of rocks. When you come closer, you notice the rocks are almost twice your height. ´´Weird.´´ You mumble under your breath. After a while of sneaking around it, you notice a rock missing, leaving a grand entrance to the secured area around the maple-tree. As you carefully enter, you are met by the gazes of multiple dozens of cats, looking at you with a mixtue of curiousity and watchfullness. One of them, a small tabby cat aproaches you, her tail high up in the air, and her green eyes staring you down. ´´Welcome, traveler. Do you wish to join our clan?´´ You where at a loss of words, barely understanding. The cat chuckled, then introduced herself as CinnamonStar. Her ears flicked and she showed you around the camp, while constantly complementing you, and every cat you met around the camp greeted you with a warm smile. Once CinnamonStar was done showing you around, she turned to you and asked;
´´So traveler, would you like to join MapleClan?´´ |

The territory
New to the clan and all, Cinnamon takes you on a tour of MapleClan's territory. You reqognize some parts from when you entered. [Map] 1- The big maple-tree, also known as the camp of MapleClan. The strange rocks surrounding it seem to have no explaination, but Cinnamon and the rest of MapleClan seem to belive that it was set as a protection from StarClan. The tree itself works as cover from both wheater and climate. The leader's den is inside the tree, a natural hollow cave probably caused by the tree having grown under a rock, then growing around it, and leavng a small cavern with a smooth rock floor. The medicine-cat's den is a rock that have fallen over, stoped halfway and now stays like a tilted roof supported by another rock. The warriors and apprentices share a den, and it's nest made by leaves and branches carefully crafted and placed near the entrance of camp. The queens and kits sleep on the oposite side of the entrance, to protect them as much as possible. Their den is a fallen branch from the tree, that fell of during a storm. Soon, after just laying there withut beeing used, it rott and was made hollow, and soon the kits and queens moved there. The elders sleep in a bush aslwell, this one roght next to the fresh-kill pile. 2-The big, dark forest is primaraly a place for training and hunting. Though aprentices may not go there alone, since rogues and loners often live there. To acces it, you need to cross some of the big stepping-stons in the river. 3-The ponds are a great place to catch fish, train swimming and just hanging out for fun once you have time for it. It's a beautiful place and many mates go there to enjoy some romantic time away from the hectic clanlife. 4-The lake is just an avrage lake, big, blue and cold. A lot of cats have gone missing near this area, but no body knows why, perhaps the clan will find that out someday. 5-The waterfall is a dangerous place. No cat is allowed to go there alone, as the powerfull streams are hard to stay afloat in. I'll repeat; No cat may go there alone! Well, the only reason to go there is if the forest, ponds and the lake are out of pray. 6-The mud-lake is a dirty place fileld with muddy dirt from both the river and rains. A lot of herbs grow there, but it's a long journey there that may take a day or two to make, therefore only cats who are good at gathering are sent there, to return with as much herbs as possible. 7-The Cave is a mysterious place. The leader goes there to reccive their nine lives and get advice from StarClan. Inside the Cave is a big golden stone, cold and powerfull. Perhaps you'll see it someday. 8- ThunderPath is that way. It's not very neccisary to ever go there as of now, it is a very dangerous place that has taken the lives of many cats. Some have crossed it, but no-one has ever come back. What lies on the other side is unknown at the moment. 9-The way to the rogue's camp. Anyone who interacts with the rogues at their camp and are found out are exiled, since traitors are despised by MapleClan. Rogues are only allowed to comunicate with if it is near MapleClan's camp. That is it, there's no way around it.

Rules
1- Be nice! Pretty self explanatory, but very important. Don't get mad because you didn't get the role you wanted or because someone's cat didn't have a crush on yours etc. Basicly, don't take RP-things seriously! 2- Be active! After two weeks of inactivety you will get a warning, and if you do not respond / roleplay within a week after you will be removed. Then you can ofcource tell me if you want to rejoin. If you need to be gone for longer than 2 weeks, just tell me, allright? 3- No kit-stealing! Nobody likes it, mk? <3 4- No more than 5 cats! Mostly for your own sake, but I don't want one person to have multiple important roles in any upcomming event / prophecy. 5- Don't spam! Not here or on the joining form! -6 Lastly, have fun! That's what roleplaying is all about, am I right?

ClanCats and outsiders Leader; CinnamonStar She|37 moons old|snail She's a tabby cat, light brown with black markings. Her belly is a cream colour. She has gorgeous dark-green eyes. She's overall tiny, she only weighs around 3 kilograms. She's agile and quick, both physicly and mentaly. She's very welcoming and nice, and enjoys the company of other cats. She can be rather grumpy when she's hungry, but who isn't? CinnamonStar is known for her outgoingness, but sometimes she likes to rest alone by the ponds and contemplate the future. But something that many may not know is that once, she had a mate, when she was a newly made warrior. They passed away in greencough, and she has a hard time truly trusting others, because she doesn't want them to leave her.
Deputy; BlueFlower She|20 moons|MissMisty A silvery-blue-gray Maine Coon-like cat with bright yellow eyes . Blueflower is a happy and loyal clan-mate. She believes there is a soulmate for any cat (though she hasn't found hers yet). She wants to be family-oriented and have at least two kits with her mate. Meanwhile, she works as hard as she can, thus giving her a reputation as an eager worker. The nursery needs to be more protected? Blueflower can get it done! The med cat needs more tansy? Blueflower's out there in a flash! This makes her best skill her speed . She's clan born, and managed to finish her apprentice test with excellent marks.
MedicineCat; AshTail Tom|20 moons old|Scartail48 Ashtail is a dark black tom with pale brown stripes running through his thick pelt. His build under the fluff is a little bulky- not much to write home about- but decent. His eyes are a bold orange, always gleaming with inquiry or the spark of a new idea. He’s not built for fighting, but he is especially good at concealing himself in the shadows and strategizing. Ashtail is somewhat of an optimist, always trying his best to dig deep down for the right answers. He relies heavily on his brain, believing that it could help him out of any situation if he applies it. He can sometimes find himself lost in thought while completing a task or chore (and more often than he’d like in the middle of a conversation), so soon enough he’ll be following that train of thought- regardless of the trouble it may cau se him. He finds his work to be fascinating, loving everything from the cats who come in to the stories they tell.
MedicineCat Aprentice; None
Warriors;
TallPine Tom|29 moons|Scartail48 Tallpine is a sleek, small tom with dark brown fur. Dark black stripes dart though his fur in close lines like vines racing up a tree. His eyes are sort of a leafy green, and if you seem them staring back at you it usually isn’t with a friendly gaze. He’s lanky and somewhat short with fur that doesn’t even give the appearance of muscles. But what he lacks in strength, he makes up for in speed and stealth. He can climb a tree and stalk prey as if it was easy as breathing, so that’s what usually becomes his role. Tallpine isn’t the kindest cat you’ve ever met. Without knowing the cat beforehand he may be cold and sarcastic, slipping in snide remarks and shying away from conversation whenever possible. As you may have guessed, he has a healthy dose of social anxiety, so he puts up walls against most cats. Really he’s more of a prankster than a bully, and while he’ll still be sarcastic, it’s more witty banter with his closest friends.
ThrushSong she|15 moons|Briarspirit Small, slender and brown with a white muzzle, chest, and right forepaw. Kind, intelligent yet shy she-cat who only opens up to the closest. Could be said as reserved sometimes.
RockFrost tom|26 moons|Briarspirit Prudent and patient, Rockfrost is a cat who weighs the situation carefully before making decisions. He is a good-tempered cat, but could burst out when someone gets on his nerve.
AntHeart tom|31 moons|ρłαgυegı .. A big burley ivory and brown-tabby patchwork tomcat with round pale eyes that appear tan at first glance, but reveal a soft golden-green in the sunlight. Birthed as the runt of his litter, he hit his growth spurt and now finds his name charismatic and amusing, as it doesn't quite fit anymore. His unusually large paws that fail him more often than not, another defining characteristic is his long, drooping ivory whiskers. Named for his faith and loyalty, Antheart is an optimistic and religious feline, of whom likes to think that the stars guide his paws and that no wrong can come by him as long as he obeys the code set before him. Light-hearted and easy going, he may be a bit of a stickler for the rules himself, but he's very rarely oppressive in how others choose to lead their lives.
BrookShine she|17 moons|ρłαgυegı .. A very stiff-spined little thing, Brookshine is dainty and fluffy in appearance, with short legs, a long agile body beneath all of her sooty classic tabby fur, and tall pointed ears and little paws. Her eyes are a dull minty-gray, and her fur is often near perfectly groomed with neatly curved ivory whiskers. Formal, soft-spoken, and stern are quite apt descriptions of this young lass. Now while her voice may be quiet, her attitude is big- she has a presence that dominates, and a stare that conveys calculation and intimacy. She lacks the ability to recognize a threat when presented, making her a stubborn little thing that doesn't quite know when best to back off. Yet she picks her words carefully and puts as much power behind them as possible, hoping that an extensive vocabulary may better portray the strength her vocal chords lack.
Goldenblaze she|25 moons|Flameswirl She has a fluffy golden coat with large blue eyes, Goldenblaze has quiet small paws but large claws on all of them. She also has a small chunk of her tail missing when she got into a fight with a bald eagle. Goldenblaze a warrior that is currently looking for a mate so she can have kits. She is intelligent, kind, and protective of all her clanmates.
Softnettle she|18 moons|T͐͐ᴡ͐͐ɪ͐͐ɪ͐ᴀ͐ Softnettle is a tall, well muscled she cat, with a sharp muzzle and a long tail that tapers to a point. Her paws are small and her ears are very triangular in shape, with a small notch in the left one. Her pelt is rather fluffy, hence the name and is mostly white in color. Pale sandy ginger patches dot her back and form two bands on her tail. Her right front paw is also pale ginger. Her eyes are a warm amber. Softnettle is a loyal cat who means well, but she may appear a bit mouse brained and does her best when told what to do. She is fairly open and chatty, despite sounding almost condescending with seemingly irritated, short responses. Seems to almost enjoy border patrols and fighting. Won't back down from a fight until either the opponent surrenders or she gets in a pretty bad situation. Doesn't have much of a brain and can't give actual orders. Most likely won't keep a secret unless she's ordered to keep her mouth shut.
Aprentices;
SmallPaw She|9 moons|Scartail48 Smallpaw is a short she-cat with snowy, white fur. On this pelt, there are large patches of brown, black, and ginger. Her eyes are a soft jade, but they’ll rarely find them meeting your own. She’s not the strongest cat, the quickest cat, or even much of anything that would give her a physical advantage, but she works hard at what she does so she might someday be one of those things. Smallpaw is a kind, sweet cat with a good sense of morality. What she doesn’t have is the confidence required to show others that. She prefers a quiet spot than a quick battle, as she’s not great at keeping up with anything. She works hard to be like everyone else and keep up with training, and she’ll always help a clanmate in need. The problem she usually faces is her inability to speak up. She has a feeling of how her actions and conversations should go, but she rarely finds the strength to execute them.
Queens and Kits;
SquirrelWhisper She|32 moons|snail SquirrelWhisper is a short-haired dark ginger she cat, her pelt is mainly a dark-orangey red colour with yellow and light-orange stripes all over her back and tail. Her stomach is a yellowy cream colour. Her eyes are a deep shade of brown, like the colour of treebark. SquirrelWhisper's quiet large and muscular, but she's pretty agile anyways. She's a good fighter, but not the best hunter. Overall, she's a pretty nice cat, and she always does her best to help others, even if it means risking her own life. She's pretty naive and carefree, yet she's still clever and enjoys giving adivice to others, perhaps it's her secret dream to controll things? Noo, she's to nice for that! |expecting kits, come n' claim!|
Elders;
Empty
Outside cats;
Ivy She|31 moons|Scartail48 Ivy’s pelt is a relatively thin, light grey color with dark grey tabby stripes running down her sides. Her eyes are a rich turquoise like the vast sea. They always seem to be staring you down, calculating your next move and how to beat you in any way- conversation, battle, you name it. Her build is pretty muscular in a toned way, and her flank has a small, thin scar scratched into it. Otherwise, she is kind of a pretty cat, she’s just a little roughed up. Ivy is, above all else, determined. Determined to make her point, determined to travel as far as she can, and determined to never worry. She never backs down from an argument, but rarely breaks her light-hearted disposition. She takes very few things seriously because she feels that the way she lives is exactly the way she wants. She loves to joke around and pass on her survival techniques, but becomes unsure how to proceed when she enters a true, lasting relationship. She hasn’t exactly had one.

- - Tallpine
In a low tree branch, Tallpine observed the camp. It wasn’t necessarily for danger, in a way he was sort of scanning for the ones that annoyed him. If he saw them, he’d shoot them a smug glance as if his height off the ground gave him some sort of superiority. No one really did annoy him especially at the moment, so he was just killing time. Well, this is boring. Maybe I should go hunting? But that required a level of motivation that would remove him from his comfy position in the tree, which was a level of commitment he didn’t care for right then.
- - Ashtail
The powerful stench of herbs filled the Medicine Cat Den, and Ashtail welcomed them. He carefully picked out marigolds from a pile mixed with poppy seeds, a mistake he wasn’t even sure how he made. He was developing a few theories, one, apprentices were roughhousing in his den, and this was a conspiracy from the start to get him distracted while rogues take over the world. That was his favorite. Of course maybe he was just stir-crazy, he didn’t know. So he let himself get lost in his ideas, working to the rhythm of his thoughts.
- - Smallpaw
The little she-cat groomed her delicate paw in the sunlight with her pink tongue. Somewhere near the big maple tree, she found a time to relax and take in everything peaceful around her. It felt nice to not be worrying about something for once. A part of her was itching to get out and train, but she held back that urge- she hadn’t had a nice day like this for a while. A butterfly flew past Smallpaw’s ear, and she twitched her tail dangerously. The hunt was on.
- - Ivy
Ivy padded with little caution through the dense woods, breathing in the crisp, forest air. This is quite a day. Looks like a boring one though. I guess I should hunt or someth- This train of thought abruptly halted when the scent of several cats flooded her senses all at once. Clan cats? Oh wow! Something’s actually happening! Maybe I’ll kick someone’s butt today... This notion amused her quite a bit while she deigned to pace right along the border.

CinnamonStar yawned, steppning out of the tree’s cave. She slowly walked around the big mapletree, getting a quick glance at SmallPaw as they chased the colourfull insect in front of them. She sighed quietly, slightly worried that they’d run into trubble. “They must learn somehow.” She mumbled, continuing her little morning walk.
SquirrelWhisper was getting ready. She was bored, and had been for a long time. She did not want to sit in her den all day, no, she craved the feeling of the tree’s shadows towering over her. Carefully, she began to sneak out, hoping nobody would notice her.

Was that the leader walking below him? Tallpine spotted the she-cat padding out of her den and curiosity flickered inside him. “Hello Cinnamonstar. Going somewhere?” There was a twinge of slyness to his tone, but it was faint as he didn’t want to offend the leader. His striped paws rested on top of each other while he flicked his hanging tail in greeting.

Confused, CinnamonStar looked around. She couldn’t see anyone who might’ve talked to her. Quickly, she turned her gaze upwards, only to spot TallPine above her. “Oh, good morning TallPine! I’m just checking up on everything, to make sure there’s nothing bad happening!” She said, and a small smile lit up on her face. “You wouldn’t mind going on a patroll?” She asked, flicking her striped tail gently.

Tallpine thought about it for a moment, turning his up to the sky in a momentary pause. “Um..,” he began, unsure of how to end this sentence. He was bored, but this was the exact type of social situation he always tried to avoid... “Sure.” He stood up and brushed some of the tree moss out of his fur, then quickly hopped down. “Lead the way, boss.”

Thrushsong Thrushsong woke up in her den, slightly worried about sleeping late as she saw some of the dens already empty. She slipped through the entrance quietly, padding into the cool shade of the big maple. She wondered if the hunting patrols had been assigned yet; she'd liked to join them if they haven't set off, for her paws were itching for stalking the prey.
Rockfrost Already up and ready for a new day in MapleClan, Rockfrost padded around the camp to seek for places where he could be helpful. He poked his head into the medicine cat's den as he heard the faint sound of Ashtail working in his stone cave. "Good morning Ashtail," Rockfrost purred. "Do you need any help?"

Cinnamonstar Cinnamon turned, looking for someone else to join the patroll, in case they'd run into rogues. She spotted Thrushsong standing under the maple akwardly. "Thrushsong, would you mind joining our morning patroll?" Cinnamonstar stepped closer to Thrushsong, giving Tallppine a quick glance then flicked her tail, signaling him to follow.

- - Tallpine
Tallpine shrugged at no one in particular, then obeyed. He jerked his head for the she-cat behind them to follow while he padded up next to the leader. “So. You liking this weather? It’s um..,” he paused for moment, partly because he was searching for the words and partly because he regretted that he started small-talk. “Fluffy.”
- - Ashtail
At the sound of pawsteps, Ashtail’s head perked up. “Oh hello, Rockfrost,” he greeted in a calm voice. “Help? Um let me...” He searched briefly around the room, examining the piles of herbs and remedies. A pile of bright flowers caught his eye, and he presented them to the tom. “Ah, these. I need you to separate to daisies, the chamomile, and the lavender from each other. Do you know how?” His tail brushed slowly over the stack of assorted plants as he contemplated whether or not this would be entertaining at all.

Thrushsong Grateful for Cinnamonstar's assigned task, Thrushsong quickly followed the two warriors ahead, dipping her head to Cinnamonstar as she joined them. However, she kept a slight distance between herself and the two cats as she was aware of their previous small talk, not wanting to interrupt them. She kept her sense up in order to track up the slightest trait of prey.
Rockfrost Rockfrost examined the pile of herbs with interest. He had spent time in the medicine cat's den long enough to differentiate the three herbs from each other; he could tell he would enjoy the task. "Sure, Ashtail." he mewed. "I think I can identify them. Should I pile them up here?" he used his tail to indicate a small space beside the pile of mixed herbs.

“Go ahead. Anywhere is fine..,” he mewed, then briefly wondered how to phrase this politely. “Although you don’t have to. Most apprentices even this this is boring. I don’t really- it’s interesting to think about how they heal and where they grow. For instance, I’ve been wondering why catnip has such a strange effect on us, but is so healing-“ He suddenly stopped himself. “Uh, sorry. Got ahead of myself. ‘Do you like herbs’ is my question.” With an embarrassed twitch of his ear, he brushed another small group of poppy seeds out of the flower pile.

Cinnamonstar "Fluffy is an intressting way to describe the wheater." She laughed, her tail lashing in amusement. She looked up at the sky. "But it seems like it'll rain soon." Cinnamonstar sighed, as a lot of dark clouds filled the sky. She lead the small patroll along the riverbank in silence, occasionally telling the other cats to ´watch out for slippery rocks´ and such simple comments.

- - Tallpine
Tallpine followed in silence, taking note of the rocks and tasting the air for prey. “I kind of hate rocks,” he decided out loud when his fitting slipped and he stubbed his claw. “They’re sharp and annoying and useless. If you like rocks, I’m afraid you’re severely mistaken, and I have nothing left to say to you.” The tom was sort of just talking out loud, his attention was hardly on what he was talking about. A cool breeze blew by, which sort of shut him up a little.

Thrushsong “I liked the rocks,” Thrushsong mewed out suddenly before she could stop herself. She immediately covered her mouth with her tail, horrified of what she just said to the senior warrior. Did she just offend him? She hoped not, though it was true she liked the rocks that scattered throughout river, with only a few big and safe enough to build the path leading out of the camp. They were like a protection to the Clan, and she have noted them specially since she was an apprentice.
Rockfrost Rockfrost flicked his tail, as if by doing so the air of embarrassment could be waved away. “I think I could say I like herbs,” he mewed to the medicine cat, “but mostly because of the great help they could bring to the cats. If they do not possess such a power, I wonder if I would even just notice them.” He glanced at Ashtail. “I don’t think I could ever be so obsessed of herbs as you are,” he added with slight playfulness in his tone.

- - Tallpine
Tallpine sort of looked back by only barely turning his head. He briefly sneered, flicked his ear, and turned his head back those slight degrees. “Yeah, they’re just... Trippable,” he commented, feeling momentarily uneasy that he wasn’t being automatically agreed with. Mm. Ease up Pine. She’s a different person. Listening to his own advice only partially, he added, “How many moons do you have?”
- - Ashtail
Ashtail gaped at him in mock offense and partial surprise. “I’m sorry sir... did you just accuse me of being an herb nerd?” His whiskers twitched in amusement, and he looked down to his herb pile, chuckling. “The worst part is that I can’t think of a comeback because I’m splitting my focus between you and my beloved work.”

Thrushsong Still hot with embarrassment of her previous behavior, Thrushsong barely noticed what Tallpine could be indicating. “3 since I’ve got my warrior name,” she replied like an apprentice being addressed by her mentor. She flicked her tail uneasily, then nervously added, “I’m really sorry. I didn’t mean to offend you.”
Rockfrost Rockfrost laughed as he heard Ashtail’s response. “I guess that’s what most of us feel towards our warrior duties,” he mewed with a more serious tone, though there was mischief in the glint of his eyes. “Though I could somehow see how you love your the medicine cat duties so much. I mean, I obviously don’t know anything about mending the wounds or anything else, but all the herb gathering, herb sorting and even sometimes the process of poultice making could be intriguing, though it’s only part of your job.”

- - Tallpine
“Mm. It’s fine,” Tallpine mewed a little blankly. “I just keep, uh-“ He lost his footing on a river stone at that moment as if to prove his point. “Doing that. You have a good apprenticeship? Miss it at all?” The faint scent of a mouse drifted past his nose, but he determined it was still far enough for him to continue to quiz the young warrior.
- - Ashtail
“Interesting,” he mewed, a question bubbling up in his mind. “What did you aspire to be when you were younger? You seem a little more... like me. Than most. Analytical.” Well, it was true in a sense that he was analytical. In Ashtail’s apprenticeship days, he spent most of his time adventuring and exploring- he never thought he’d end up here or be even slightly satisfied if he held this strange position in the clan.

Thrushsong Thrushsong felt her pelt bristling with unease at the warrior's question, but she forced it to lay down. Was he indicating that I don't have sufficient training? she thought, not knowing she was overacting. "I don't think I really missed it," she mewed, with defense. "My mentor tried his best to teach me everything, I believe. It was great having a mentor like that, but I think I like the life of being a warrior better."
Rockfrost Rockfrost was slightly surprised at the question. "I never really think much," he admitted. "I just trained and played with the others. I never really thought of being anything but a warrior," he mewed, thoughts flooding into his mind as he recalled his younger days. "I guess I am just an ordinary kit, never thinking more and doing everything all the other cats have done. All the other positions seemed so special, and I never thought being special would be my fate, even though we all do falsely dream of becoming leader someday."

Cinnamonstar Cinnamonstar's ears twitched in delight. She listened happily to the two cat's conversation, enjoying that they got along so well. She had never been much of a small-talker, but liked to see her clan-mates get along well. If Cinnamonstar should be honest, she had enjoyed talking to her former mate, Lionspot, she felt her heart sink as she recalled all their late night talks. She sighed, her tail lazily dragging after her.
Squirrelwhisper "Oh dear starclan.." She sighed, her body relaxing as she slowly approached the big, blue lake. She reached the shore, and sat down. The stirring wind blew her dark orange pelt around, her whiskeres twitched, she was rather cold. But even though the wind was chilly and a light rainfall had begun in the distance, she stayed at the lake, since she was feeling free for the first time in months.

Hm. Good answer, he concluded as if it was his right to judge the warrior. “I had a fine mentor as well, but I can’t say I enjoyed my apprenticeship. Nothing compares to the freedom you feel after moons of cleaning out nests and getting kicked around.” Behind him, he heard the leader’s faint sigh and perked his ears with curious it’s. “Something wrong, Cinnamonstar?”

“I don’t see you as ordinary. Any cat who can come in this room without vomiting from the smell is special in my mind,” he mewed with a playful grin. A quick glance outside warmed his heart. He spotted Smallpaw playing with a fleeing butterfly. Sometime during his apprenticeship, he had wondered why he was never like that. Happy with what he had and always itching to be unique. Then he found his calling with the old Medicine Cat, and something sort of clicked in his mind. “I had always wanted to be a warrior too when I was younger. It sounded like the best and most exciting thing I could do for my clan. Well, it turned out it just wasn’t for me, I don’t really know why. But remember that no one is ordinary. I really don’t think you are.”

Cinnamonstar She flinched at the voice, disturbing her thoughts. "Oh, well, I'm just thinking about Lionspot again." She smiled weakly, her tail flicking nervously. Slightly embarassed, she increased her pace, walking faster to get back to camp. "Sorry to bother you." She mumbled.

Rockfrost Rockfrost twitched his whiskers, surprised yet grateful for the medicine cat's words. "Thank you, Ashtail," he mewed earnestly. He had finished sorting the herbs by now, with three piles of plants in front of him. Standing up to stretch himself a bit, Rockfrost turned his gaze to the darker tom. "Is there anything else I could help out?" he asked. Before getting the answer, he mewed, "That is, if you aren't tired of my company..." Amusement lit the tone of the words. Rockfrost enjoyed his time in the medicine cat's den, but he was also aware that Ashtail had his own working routine, and he probably wouldn't want someone else to tag along whole day.

Foxdung! he silently cursed, I don’t know what to say! Tallpine checked to see if Thrushsong was still behind them before quickening his pace to come up beside the leader. “You didn’t bother us, Cinnamonstar,” he mewed in the tone closest to comforting he could muster. “Are you alright?” His tail awkwardly trailed behind him, refelecting perfectly his mental state. He wasn’t sure if this was even the right way to ask or not- he always avoided this stuff- so he was really improvising here.

Ashtail considered this for a moment. Besides sorting poppy seeds (which he was nearly done with), he really wouldn’t have much to do the whole day. Very few cats seemed to be leaving the camp, so injuries probably would be minimal, and he did love a good adventure. “You finished quick and..,” he trailed off while he checked the three sorted stacks. “Very well! I don’t have much of anything to do today, so maybe you’d like to take a walk or something? Show me around? That is, is you aren’t tired of my company...” He played off his tone a little, adding in a teasing bashful tilt of his head.

Cinnamonstar Cinnamonstar cleared her throat. "I'm allright, just sometimes when my mind is clear, I just miss him a little extra. I need to get over it, in order to lead the clan well." She said quietly, feeling a little better after talking to Tallpine, even if it was just a few words escaping her mouth. She gave him a thankfull look, then focused on patrolling. Suddenly, Cinnamonstar stoppped in her tracks, her nose high in the air. "Rogue." She mumbled, then crouched down, her tail flicking in an order for the others to do the same.

<<Softnettle>> Softnettle felt that nothing much was going to happen. She woke up a bit too late and found the camp a little less full. Pacing irritably near the big maple tree, she cursed her luck. She longed for some action, for the day seemed quite serene in her eyes. Glancing across the camp, it seemed like everyone was busy with something. Her gaze settled on Smallpaw, then flickered elsewhere.
"A calm day with no duties as of yet. Might as well enjoy it, for it probably won't last."
