"I like fish, but I'm not too picky." Lyric replied, following Willowstep closely. "I used to be a loner. You can't really be too picky in that life." Willowstep smiled. "I like fish too." She padded toward the pile to find a few mice but no fish. "Sorry we don't have any though. I didn't know you were a loner before coming here." She picked up a mouse for her and waited for him to get his before continuing. "What was it like for you?"

Silksong hesitated before answering the she-cat. "I'd heard of a kit named Parsleykit, but I'm open to meet them." she said thoughtfully. Maybe Parsleykit had siblings. Fallenstar rolled her eyes toward the ceiling trying to recall all the information about Parsleykit. "He and Ratkit are brothers I believe." She focused her eyes on the new cat again. "I am afraid I don't know much about them other than that." She answered apologetically. "I am still new here myself. I can go find them for you though." She offered. A few kits had stopped playing and come to the edge of the foyer to see the new she cat but neither of the brothers was among them. A muted silver she cat that was watching sneezed so hard her wings fluttered causing the kit next to her to look startled and disappear for a moment. "Sorry about that we are trying to keep well but there are a few of us here with sniffles." Fallenstar smiled. ((Ok just so you know I may have many kits interact with you along the way as it adds more depth but you are under no obligation to try for them unless you want to. Also be aware that I know very little about how Ratkit and Parsleykit are supposed to interact as a former worker created them and never came back. This is not to discourage you its just to let you know it may take me awhile to get used to them.))

Ghostkit continued to look around for the source of the green color. "Is it... My nest?" She asked finally looking down at the moss the cats had collected and brought into the house to sleep on. -- Stormwatcher grinned at the mention of a gift from Rainshine and tried not to chuckle at the tom's jump. "Well I don't have a mate but I gave my sisters and my niece and nephew something. I went hunting with Willowstep and herb collecting with Nightsong. For Moonstep and Sunblaze I just spent time with each of them. Sometimes the best gift is doing something someone likes." He suggested. -- "Excellent job Peppermintkit!" Princess praised the small kit's ability to scent the weather. SHe turned as they walked to Wasppaw. "Its alright scenting isn't the only important way to see about the weather." She stopped quickly putting her tail out to stop the others. "Shhh.... There by that bush. Do you see the mouse?" She asked the kit and apprentice. "Correct!" said Dream happily. Rattlesnake too seemed satisfied with this and grinned, glad he'd found it as well. "My turn?" he questioned. He didn't really wait for an answer and instead said, "I spy something white." His eyes were still on Ghostkit. -- "I don't know what she likes," Glade admitted sheepishly. He once again nibbled at his prey and then shrugged. "As for Lavenderpaw and Rosepaw, I've been thinking about going the slightly amusing rout and giving them the flowers that match their name." He was still puzzling over Forestpaw, however. -- Wasppaw stopped at once, but Peppermintkit stumbled over her paws as she stopped. Mice? Wasppaw saw it, but Peppermintkit found herself looking a little too far to the left. They'd both been shushed, so both had stopped talking, even Peppermintkit. Wasppaw nodded at Princess, confirming that he had. Peppermintkit finally spotted it as well, nodding her head furiously. Ghostkit didn't even look around. "Me?" She asked with a laugh. She wasn't sure she was right but this was the most fun she had had in a while. She liked these cats better then most. They didn't seem to want her to be something she wasn't. ((Level up)) -- Stormwatcher smiled at the flower idea. "That sounds like a sweet idea. Maybe you could get your son something to remind him of something you have done together like a rock from the mt. that you saved that kit from." Most of the other workers had heard of the rescue by now. "As for Rainshine maybe you should talk to her kits to see what they suggest." He looked off into the distance. "You know I am thinking its about time I find me a kit to give a home to." He felt his pelt warm a little. "I have mostly been focused on settling in but hearing you talk about your kits makes me want to be a dad." -- The mouse was looking around and sniffing but hadn't spotted them yet do to the direction of the wind. "I can catch that for the center but do either of you want to instead?" She asked quietly.

All of the kits and the pup smiled at Cloud's comment. "I guess it does have to be good if Santa paws gave it to you." Shadow answered. Ghostkit padded over to one of the big windows that you could sort of see out of. "Looks like a few more hours till dark." He looked thoughtful. Pinekit watched him for a moment. "Maybe we could keep playing with Rainkit and Shadow till then?" She suggested. Willowstep had been sitting and watching the egg as well. "It looks like your free till dark if you want to meet and hear about some of the other workers now." She commented. -- Leaf hadn't really thought about how their names matched till now but smiled at the thought. "Looks like we already have something in common. Mom says you have powers." He commented leaving it up to her if she wanted to talk about them or not. (Santa paws. I love it.XD) Cloud chuckled slightly at his pup's comment. Of course he was right. He turned to watch as Shadow went over to the window, and nodded. Honestly that sounded like a good idea, let them all play and enjoy themselves. They might just all be siblings soon, so they might as well get used to each other. He wondered what he would do for a moment, but was distracted when Willowstep spoke. Her words made him smile, and he dipped his head in agreement. "I think that would be nice to do," he purred happily. .+**+..+**+. Leafkit chuckled and nodded to the first part of his comment. "I-I guess we do," she said happily. When he mentioned her powers though she looked down and shrugged shyly, but she had a small smile on her face. "I-I mean, yeah but they a-aren't really...important." As she spoke small vines started wrapping around his paws. Just little ones, enough to be surprising. At least she hoped that was the case. She was feeling more playful after her talk with Daisypaw. Willowstep moved to stand beside him as the kits and pup went back to their games. "I guess I can start by telling you about us." She smiled happily. "Me, my brother Stormwatcher, and my sister Nightsong started out in a fairly normal clan called flameclan. We grew up there but about the time we reached warrior hood sickness swept the clan. It ravaged until there was almost nothing left." Willowstep's eyes turned misty as she remembered. "We had to leave or die with the others. Our mother begged us to leave. During our wonderings I came across my first adoption center and it was there I met my kits Moonstep and Sunblaze. From there we traveled from place to place and found a clan that was also a center kind of like this one. My brother became deputy and my kits apprentices." She looked sad again. "This place also proved to be temporary but now we are here." sHe smiled again. --- Leaf jumped a little as the tiny vines encircled his paws but then he watched fascinated. "Wow!" He smiled at her. "Sometimes I wish I had powers." "Sometimes they can be fun and sometimes a pain." Called Lark as he padded up, the ever present breeze that came with him ruffled his coat. "Isn't that right Leafkit?" He asked with a smile.

She nodded happily and sighed. "There are so many! Do the two have to be adopted together? Or can they be apart?" she asked nervously. Silksong could certainly handle one kit, but two might be a bit too hard for the single cat.

She nodded happily and sighed. "There are so many! Do the two have to be adopted together? Or can they be apart?" she asked nervously. Silksong could certainly handle one kit, but two might be a bit too hard for the single cat. Fallenstar shook her head. "Sorry but siblings usually only want to be adopted together. I believe that is the case with parsleykit and Ratkit." The leader smiled. "There are a lot of us. Not all of us are cats either." The muted silver she kit with wings moved a little so that a small fox kit was able to be seen watching. A black tom cat of apprentice age also sporting wings rolled his eyes and moved off into one of the other rooms. "Oh come on guys its not like she is going to pick you just cause you are staring at her." He called. A white she kit with a small pink mark on her shoulder rolled her eyes back and hissed at him. "You don't know she might pick one of us watching."

Silksong purred quietly, wishing she was able to adopt all of them. She felt so bad for the poor little things. "Can I meet the siblings?" she asked curiously. Maybe there was another way she could help...

Fallenstar nodded and led the way past the group of watching kits and into the room the other kits were all playing in. To one side of the room sat a large slightly pudgy tom kit and next to him a smaller tom. They were talking quietly as Fallenstar padded up. "Parsleykit? Ratkit? You have a visiter." She called. When the toms looked up the the smaller one seemed to adjust to a bigger size. He looked mad. "We don't need to meet anyone Fallenstar." He answered. Parselykit just looked apologetic but didn't contradict his brother.

Silksong tilted her head, a bit taken aback by the young tom's response. She still seemed friendly though, and her tail swished calmly. Her amber gaze looked at the two warmly. She cast an asking glance to Fallenstar,May I talk to them? it seemed to say.

Fallenstar gave a warning look to Ratkit before turning to Silksong. She saw the question in her eyes and nodded. "Alright but let me know if you need anything." She padded of quietly. Parsleykit opened his mouth to ask a question but his brother cut him off. "Let me guess you were looking to help some poor little kits that need you? Try again cause we aren't interested." He glared at her steadily.

Silksong smiled broadly. "No, I know you aren't in need of me. But believe me, I know you want somebody. Take your time, but I'm not giving up right away as others have." she said boldly, yet with a friendly tone. Her ears were perked up high, the rounded corners a welcoming feature.

((Ok See you then!)) Ratkit looked even more annoyed. "Really? You are beyond wrong no one gave up on us before and we aren't poor little kits that want someone. We are fine alone." He almost yelled. Parsleykit flinched at his brother's tone. He wanted to talk to the she cat but he wouldn't do so without his brother. He sighed. "Its ok. Really. You can talk to others if you want." He suggested calmly.

Her fur had bristled a bit, but she still remained strangely calm. The cream colored she-cat's heart was touched by Parsleykit, but she knew somehow she would be able to get through to Ratkit.

Snowkit approached the freshkill pile and sniffed around until she could pull out a large bird. She turned around with it in her mouth and asked around it, "This good?" Pebbletail nodded. "Yeah." Snowkit set the bird down at flickered her ear at it. "Yours!" She was grinning as she headed back to the pile to get a small mouse.

Rattlesnake seemed to be trying to figure out whether to be disappointed or happy. "Um ... not very original, sorry. But yah, you're white - right." He said 'white' instead of 'right' to begin with and corrected himself, finally laughing. "Perhaps I should let you and Dream do this," he said happily, amused at his own inability to choose something for the game. -- Glade brightened at the idea. "Nice touch! I hadn't thought of that, but it's a good idea!" His tail waved a bit across the ground as he thought of what to get Forestpaw. He gave a bit of a chuckle at Stormwatcher's admittance. "If you like a lot of furballs running across your spine." He joked, but then let his words sober up a bit. "But they're great. Wouldn't want to be anyone else or look after and care for anyone else." He was already thinking about where Rainshine's kits would be. "Did you have anyone in mind, Stormwatcher?" he asked. "To adopt, I mean." -- Peppermintkit looked excited, but Wasppaw had a feeling she'd just rush the mouse and he wanted to try, so he leaned down and asked, "Can I get it, Pep?" The nickname seemed fitting. Peppermintkit looked up at him, almost bopping her nose into his. "Alllllright. But I get the next one." Wasppaw nodded and looked back at Princess for advice. "How should I go about it?"

(I am so sorry and so bad and ow. ;-; The Paradox House took all of my attention the past two days because someone was killing off a major character, and friend of my character. My character had to sorta testify as to witnessing his murder. I got really distracted and it isn't much of an excuse but I should be here now.) Rattlesnake seemed to be trying to figure out whether to be disappointed or happy. "Um ... not very original, sorry. "How should I go about it?" ((Its ok although I did wonder a bit. I sometimes disappear for days at a time so yeah.)) Ghostkit laughed. "Its ok Rattlesnake." She smiled after a moment. "Its nice to play such a simple game like this." She started to spy something else before about the time Nightsong padded in with a small black and white kit at her side. "Ghostkit I would like to ask for your help." She called. "This is one of the new kits and she can't talk it seems and-" SHe started to explain before noticing the toms. "I am so sorry I didn't realize I was interrupting anything." -- Stormwatcher shook his head. "I don't actually have any idea which furball I want." He grinned back but then looked sober himself. "I really just want to find someone that needs me or more than one. How ever it works out." He looked over to Glade. "Any suggestions?" He asked. Opalpaw had just rounded the corner from the den area to see the two toms talking. She flicked her tail in greeting. "There is one of Rainshine's now if you want to go ask her. -- Princess smiled at the nickname. It was a good choice for the kit. She looked at the mouse and then back to Wasppaw. "Sink into the hunter's crouch and pull yourself along with out letting your belly drag the ground. Stay up wind of it so it doesn't smell you."

The she-cat sat down contently. Silksong perked her ears back up, trying not to look nosey, and smiled at Parsleykit. Ratkit finally just shook his head. "Fine. Talk to her but remember she will want to take you away and you don't want to go." He padded off. Parsleykit sighed before turning to Silksong. "I'm sorry. He doesn't like adopters much. I think most of them are nice. You aren't a new worker also are you?" He asked politely.
