Spiderpaw nodded. "I am glad you came here though. Why did you decide to work at a kit center?" Ze asked curiously. Snowy nodded and stood defensively in front of her wall. "Ok ready to guard it!" She yipped excitedly. Willowstep padded back toward the entrance to the mansion. "Do you like being out here more than inside?" She asked as they headed into the foyer. "I wanted to help other cats be happy, and this was my first opportunity," Tawnyfur explained. "And... Go!" Robinstorm mewed. She knocked one of her stones forwards, trying to get into the opposite goal. "It depends." Lyric mewed. "Sometimes, it's cold, or it's sunny, or a story works better with a certain setting." Spiderpaw nodded. "Do you have any other kits here?" Ze couldn't remember if Tawnfur did or not. Snowy jumped to the defense of her goal. Her front paw lashed out as she stopped the rock. "Coming right back at ya!" She knocked one of her own rocks forward. Willowstep moved farther in to the den area in front of the fire that poppy always lit. "I love stories but I have never really thought about telling them in different places." She looked interested at the thought. "I can see where it could help."

OOC:Yes, I love her, and she's so fun to rp.XDIC:
Cloud looked as the two left, calling a 'thank you' after them. He watched until they were out of sight before he turned to the kits in front of them, returning the smile Rainkit gave him. Though when he looked at the others, it didn't fade whatsoever. He was glad when Rainkit suggested playing a game with the other two. He was happy that she was making friends with them, though to be honest he didn't really expect any less from his daughter.
.+*+.+*+.
Leafkit shrugged, not so sure. Maybe she was the one impressing Goldkit, but she couldn't do it on her own. "I-I wouldn't have b-been able to speak t-to him if you w-weren't hear," she said, looking down for a moment. It was true, she didn't think she'd have it in her to say anything to her crush if Rainshine hadn't been by her side. When she suggested something to do, Leafkit looked back up and shrugged. "M-maybe meet your f-family?" she said carefully.
((Level up!)) The other kits sat looking at the egg. Pinekit padded forward and sniffed the egg curiously. "It smells kind of like smoke." She commented. Ghostkit looked at the egg with interest but didn't say anything. He wasn't really sure what to say. Willowstep padded back a moment later with Poppy in tow. "Having a bit of a problem finding a kit that can put out the fire." She looked a little apologetic. "The other Rainkit and stormkit might be the best bets but Stormkit is busy and Rainkit is too upset by her powers to use them." Shadow explained. Ghostkit looked thoughtful. "I- I have an idea." He finally spoke up. -- Rainshine smiled. "I think you might be able to impress him by yourself but I am happy to say that being here for you is what families do!" Her eyes lit up at Leafkit's wanting to meet her family. "Oh course! Would you like to meet them one at a time or all together?" She asked. (I'm so sorry Lore! I've joined probably too many rps and it's kinda draining me!) Cloud tilted his head slightly at what Leafkit said, and carefully padded forward, sniffing it himself. She was right, it did smell like smoke. How very strange. His mind kept wandering, trying to figure out what the egg might be, but every time it got too odd and he had to bring it back down to reality. Then again, there were kits with powers, wings and other things, and he was looking at an egg that smelled like smoke and he had never seen it before in his travels. How grounded could you be? He looked at the two as they came back, nodding slowly. He opened his mouth to reply, but before he could Ghostkit spoke up and he looked down at him, smiling. "Yes? What is your idea Ghostkit?" He asked happily. .+*+.+*+. Leafkit blushed more at her words. Did she really think she could? Leafkit didn't think so, but maybe if Rainshine did she might be able to believe it. Leafkit had never thought she could impress someone on her own, she always thought she was too shy to even be able to talk to someone. "I-I'm not sure, w-what do you think i-is the best idea?" She asked, shuffling her paws slightly. She honestly wasn't sure how she wanted to meet her possible new family.

Snowkit nodded, following the small prey path by feeling where the grass bordered it. "If you find anything cool," she said. "Show me please!" The path was narrow, but the kit followed it easily, looking quite pleased with herself. "Will do!" Pebbletail purred. He followed closely behind Snowkit, looking for interesting objects, but still watching the kit. Snowkit shuffled her paws a little so she could try and feel for items along the ground. She said over her shoulder to Pebbletail, "I haven't been outside much. This place is pretty new to everyone."

"When," said Dream, smiling mischievously. "Did we ever say we were normal toms? I'm invincible and he shape-shifts. We don't exactly have normal in our vocabulary." Rattlesnake nodded in agreement. "Don't worry about it. Things like that are out of your control, so there is no need to apologize." He tried to think of what else to add, and finally said, "Though if you would like use to start over on a more formal introduction, we might be able to. Not like Dream could ever mange formal." "Very true," Dream said stoutly. It was almost mocking, but still held fondness in his tone. (Yeah, I know. The story line changed a lot over time. Originally, Rattlesnake and 'Nightmare' were villains.) -- Glade shook out his own fur, some scratches on it evident. He hesitantly clambered away from the bird, but didn't relax. Instead, he kept his claws out. Glancing at the kit, his first question was, "Are you alright?" And then, to Forestpaw, "And you?" -- Peppermintkit, as if testing it out, pushed off with her back legs and tried to balance on her front. She at once fell onto her nose. "Ow," she yelped, before shaking her fur out and saying, "I don't see how they do it ..." Wasppaw looked interested up to the point that Peppermintkit tried to be a twoleg. And that was when he couldn't hold back a grin. "Oh my. Look what you started, Princess." He turned his gaze to her an nodded, "That might be interesting. I might like that." Ghostkit shook her head. "No no need to start over. Once I have seen someones fears there is really no use in being formal. You didn't run though that is a plus." She smiled a little more. "Invincible and a shape-shifter huh?" She looked a bit unsure. "I am surprised you have fears with those powers." ((I remember you used to ask if minded a villain adopting.)) --- The kit nodded. "I am ok. My name is Sparrow by the way." He looked to the apprentice with worry. Forestpaw was looking at his paw. "I think I may have sprained my paw." He commented. "The other wounds are small but still rather deep. I could really use a trip to the healer's den." He admitted standing up with out putting to much weight on his paw. --- Princess chuckled as she watched the kit. "I think they walk better on two legs because their legs are long and shaped different." She smiled at both the apprentice and the kit. "I think you will like my housefolk. They are lovely and love animals. I didn't always live with them though. I actual lived with a group in a barn long ago." "Running never solved many problems," said Dream. "Unless it's running to something," Rattlesnake added. Both seemed to consider Ghostkit's words before Dream pointed out, "Everyone fears something. It don't have to be logical or real, but everyone has this small or large worry that hurts them. It's just how life works." Rattlesnake, well aware of what he was afraid of, looked like he wanted to frown, but nod along to Dream's words. "Even with a power," he said quietly. "That doesn't mean you aren't going to have weaknesses." Blinking several times, he looked back at Ghostkit. "That is an interesting power you have, though. I can't imagine it is very easy to live with." (Technically still are the 'villains', but they've become more victims of circumstance than outright villains. ) -- "Then it's best to get back then," said Glade, turning to Sparrow. He nodded his head in greeting. "I'm Glade and this is Forestpaw. Would you mind very much coming back with us?" He looked to Forestpaw to check again, still worried about the apprentice's injuries. -- "I want to go!" said Peppermintkit, hopping up and down a little. Her fall seemed to have been forgotten. "A barn," questioned Wasppaw. "Why was that? You seem to have a lot of homes." He seemed interested, tilting his head. Peppermintkit stopped her bouncing and looked between Princess and the apprentice before sitting down. They were back to boring talking again ...

(Cool!) The kit looked up at Shasta, blinking, before yawning again. "Hallo," she said, seeming sleepy. But a mischievous grin flickered across her face.
Elmheart came forward, sniffing at Ice. "Hello!" he greeted. "I'm Elmheart. Nice to meet you." He looked over the kits wings, half impressed. "You look pretty ferocious when you're puffed up like that," he said, chuckling. Shasta smiled back at the kit, her tongue lolling out. "I am so glad to meet you and welcome you to your new home." She hoped Dark was with her but she thought she would let him introduce himself to their new family member. "I am Shasta and I guess I am to be your new mom."
The tom kit squeaked happily at Elmheart. "I most always look ferocious cause my pelt is always this way." He giggle. "I am so happy to meet you." He tripped his way out of the basket and cuddled up close to Elmheart with a purr. ((Ice has no sense of boundaries. He just wants to cuddle bless him.)) "Nice," said the kit, looking sleepy still, but a smile played through her eyes. "To meet you, mother." She stretched, standing, revealing that she was taller and longer than first expected. She exited her sleeping arrangements, stepping lightly around Shasta's paws and brushing up against her legs. "Now, where is the nearest nest?" She also had a one-track mind.
Elmheart looked down at Ice with surprise, but smiled. The kit was cute, in his own way. "It is greet to meet you," he agreed. "Do you want to see you new home, Ice?"

"Yes, I have Brokenkit." Tawnyfur replied. Robinstorm attempted to stop the rock, but it just missed her paw, sliding into the goal. "Sometimes, I even move around whilst telling stories!" Lyric mewed. "It especially helps when a character is going on a journey." Spiderpaw smiled. "So if I am adopted by you I will have a sibling! Is there any chance I could meet Brokenkit then?" Ze asked. Ze was almost sure this was going to work out but making sure the rest of the family liked Zer was important. Snowy danced around happily at her goal. She was so intent on her dancing that she wasn't paying attention. Willowstep looked amazed. "I am ready now more than ever to hear you tell a story!" She settled down ready to listen to the kit tell his story.

"Well instead of putting out the fire we just get a kit like Bella or someone with power to moves things like that to put it in the fire?" He asked. Rainkit looked to Shadow. "Makes sense to me!" Shadow nodded. "I could go find one of them?" He offered. --- Rainshine watched Leafkit fidget. "Maybe it would be best to meet then one at a time then." She looked over to see her newly apprenticed daughter. "Daisypaw! Could you come here a moment?" Daisypaw padded over. "Hi Mom!" She turned to Leafkit. "Hi Leafkit! What's new?" She asked with a warm smile.

Peppermintkit stopped her bouncing and looked between Princess and the apprentice before sitting down. They were back to boring talking again ... Ghostkit nodded at the wisdom of their words. "True most fears aren't logical. No my power is not easy to live with. At the center I was at before this one they called it a curse instead of a power but that implies it could be broken and it can't. I came here because I didn't like dealing with all the cats that were trying to "fix" me. I am not broken. My power is just hard to deal with." She sighed. "No one tried to help me deal with fear. They just tried to get rid of it." ((Would you call them more anti heros then?)) --- Sparrow grinned. "No I don't mind coming with you!" He squeaked. It was obvious by the look on his face that the young kit was already hero worshipping Forestpaw. Forestpaw nodded about getting back. He didn't want to worry the kit but he was tired. He started off toward the portal. ((Want to do a little time skip to get us back to the center and him treated if you don't mind.)) --- Princess laughed. "I have lived several places but I am happy with my home now. The barn was my first real home. I lived with other cats in a clan like environment and hunted mice but I caught my foot in a bobbed wire fence. When two legs found me I thought I was dying. My leg was useless. They took me to what some cats call the cutter and had it removed." She explained. "I own my two legs my life." Her eye glowed with warmth. She knew even as she told this story that Peppermintkit was bored but it was hard to keep both the apprentice and kit entertained at the same time.

She turned around and moved to knck one of her rocks. Willowstep looked surprised. "Oh no." She whispered about the missing cat. She was already getting involved in the story. A few other kits heard the start of a story and padded over to sit next to Willostep and listen.

((Hey wildclaw2202 Letting you know that we kind of did away with the non level up section and just integrated them in with the other cause it was confusing for some also We have a 3 leader system now. I made a new leader Fallenstar and Minted made Hickoryfoot. I moved Rainshine to care giver and just mentioned she decided this was a better fit for her now. Do you want to make a new leader or have your character Smoke take that spot? Here is Smoke's bio: Smoke- Smoke is a medium sized dark grey cat with green eyes. Smoke doesn't specify as a single gender and often uses 'Ze/Zer' pronouns rather the 'He/Him 'She/Her'. Smoke has black paws, ears, and tail tip with black flecks coming from it. Ze is very kind and very good at Zer job. Smoke often has the issue of cats mixing up zer gender, because it would be near impossible to tell if ze was male or female even if ze did group with a gender. rped by wild.))

(Yeah, I took over.) "He should be in my den." Tawnyfur mewed. Robinstorm lunged to block the rock, but missed. "Storm and Lilac were extremely worried," Lyric continued. "They searched and searched around their forest home, but Sun was nowhere to be seen. 'What should we do?' Storm asked Lilac. 'I don't know!' Lilac replied. 'There's just no sign of Sun! He could even be... dead!'" Lyric followed up with a gasp after the word 'Dead'. Spiderpaw followed the she cat back to the den area. Ze wasn't sure the kit would like Zer. Would they understand about the gender thing? Ze waited nervously to be introduced. Snowy looked surprised at her 2 rocks having made it in. She was about to celebrate but decided to keep her focus this time. She waited for Robinstorm's next move. The kits and Willowstep all listened entranced. Some even gasped when Lyric did at the word dead.

Tawnyfur ducked into the den, coming out with a tomkit at her foot. The kit was a dark grey tabby with light grey markings, light green eyes, and a crooked tail. The kit had wings that appeared to have failed during the styling process. "Spiderpaw, this is Brokenkit. Brokenkit, this is Spiderpaw." Tawnyfur mewed, introducing the two.
Robinstorm spread herself out, trying to protect her goal. She lifted one paw up, before putting it back down, steadying herself.
"Just then, a fox came out of the bushes!" Lyric mewed, emphasising 'Fox'. He crouched down and spread his paws, trying to look like a fox.

Pebbletail nodded. "Okay." He kept looking around. Snowkit almost stumbled over a rock that was sticking out of the path, but she caught herself. "Whoops," she said. Feeling the rock, she said, "Should probably remove that so no one else trips over it. But it's buried a little in the path. Can you help?"

Feeling the rock, she said, "Should probably remove that so no one else trips over it. But it's buried a little in the path. Can you help?" "Sure," Pebbletail purred. He started to dig the rock out of the dirt with his paws.

Spiderpaw stepped forward. "Hello Brokenkit. Its nice to meet you!" Ze hoped to make a good impression on the young cat. Snowy made a quick darting moment toward her last rock hoping to score a last goal for a win! Willowstep did a quick look around to make sure none of the fox kits they had were among the group listening. None were so she watched and listened on with all the other kits. "Hey!" Brokenkit replied. "It's nice to meet you!" The rock glided under Robinstorm's belly, and into the goal. "You win!" Robinstorm purred. "At first, Storm and Lilac were quite scared. Foxes weren't very common where they lived, so they'd never, ever seen one before," Lyric mewed. "'What are you?' Storm gasped, half to himself. 'I'm a fox, and my name is Russet.' The fox replied. Storm and Lilac both yelped in shock - They didn't know that were creatures other than cats who could talk, like we know!"

"Your mom has been talking to me a little bit and I decided I wanted to meet you. I am told she might be interested in adopting me so I thought I would make sure its ok with you." Ze was nervous but continued on. "I mean I am kind of different than other cats so I can understand if you think I wouldn't be a good sibling." Snowy looked really surprised. She started to celebrate then looked suspicious. "You didn't let me win so I would like you more did you?" She asked. Willowstep was impressed with how the kit had handled the fox in the story. The kits were all listening intently and looked excited to see what was going to happen next.

"Running never solved many problems," said Dream. (I suppose so. They are also the 'heroes' for some of it, but are colored 'evil' through most of it. Anti-heroes work.) "That's illogical," said Rattlesnake, shaking his head. "Getting rid of a power when you can learn to control it is not appropriate. What you need to do is figure out how to get rid of the effect. Learn to heal from the effects of fear. To overcome them. That's how it works." Dream let his mate talk, studying Ghostkit's stance as he did. She seemed like a smart kit. "It's a good thing you left," he said after Rattlesnake finished. "This Center is better. -- (Works for me.) Elmheart looked into the healers' area, saying, "Forestpaw?" He'd come to check in on him not long after he'd been banished to wait. Apparently, healers don't like you hovering around. He'd gotten his scratches treated and gotten kicked out fast. "Everything okay?" -- "Wow," said Wasppaw, mouth wide. He was impressed. Peppermintkit looked a little nervous. "'e aren't goin near any barbed wire, are we?" She looked around, fur puffing out. She was distracted by the story at least, though not exactly entertained. "'ot fun. Not doing it."
