IC When her hand was grabbed, it didn’t take Harley long to pull it back, glaring slightly at Adelaide. Even at her best, Harley wasn’t a very touchy person, she had her personal space and expected people to respect that. However, considering she was getting dragged off to see a “secret” collection of books, she was willing to let it slide, and followed Addie curiously.
Once Adelaide showed her the box of worn down, she seemed to perk up, kneeling down to get a better look, even putting her own book down in favor of these. “These look loved. I’m guessing you’ve read them a lot?” Harley questioned, even going as far to smile at her, what could she say? She liked books. “You know, if you ever wanted something new to read, I’ve got some books you could borrow,” she suggested.

Fausto, Collie, Maggie --> Literally everyone in the group { -` gumi ´- .✫ 🐾 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 @wildmask @angelfur Feathertalon }
Fausto didn't need to be told twice to take the money, and he looked like if he wasn't trying to run a business here, he could've dropped down and proposed to Jaxon right then and there. Of course he didn't, even if was terribly impressed. Instead, a huge grin lit up his face, and he started laughing.
"Well well well, color me impressed, Sparrow!" He shook the pirate's hand, trying to stop laughing. "I didn't know y'all had it in you!" The witch doctor/information broker admitted, shaking his head. "I think we've found us a new partner, huh Charlie?" He elbowed his own partner lightly, still looking like Christmas had come early.
"He did say he was going to do that later." Collie pointed out, raising an eyebrow. "I didn't expect him to be so good at it, but I guess you're full of surprises, aren't you?" This question was aimed at Jax, and the de Vil girl turned her attention to regard him, briefly.
Maggie didn't look quite as impressed as the villain kids, but held her tongue. She'd try to talk to Jax about how they were supposed to be setting a good example, not stooping to their level, later, but for right now she didn't call him out on it. Morality or not, if they didn't pay Fausto, there was a possibility - no, a probability - that he wouldn't give them a tour at all, and it was better for them if they knew their surroundings.
"Right, now that we've got that squared away..." Fausto pocketed the money, then continued on with his tour. "Y'all are currently at Goblin Wharf, which is part of the Wharf side of town." He introduced, then added. "One of the schools, Serpent Prep, is down here. A few of you might end up down here, so I'd advise y'all might want to warm up Surana as quick as possible. She runs things down here." Fausto thought that was some sound advice. "She's just as likely to claw your eyes out or make you walk the plank as she is to just leave y'all alone." Claudette and Jeanette --
The de Vil girl smirks a little too happily as she watches the group. It was odd for her to stay so quiet, but honestly what was the point of just repeating everything her twin said? It was a bit redundant. Claudette drags her slender fingers through her silky locks. The whole ordeal was a bit comical. The cat, Charlie seemed to grow a pair then hide behind Fausto, sure they did that a lot, but it was quite comical to watch.
What really caught her eye was the pirate girl. Perhaps Jax's sister? Perhaps just another pirate, but how many pirate families were there from Auradon? Not many. She definitely wasn't Hook's kid. Her train of thought was interrupted as Jax began paying Fausto for the little tour. "Ah so my favorite pirate has a dirty little secret." Claude smirks as she walks up beside him, touching his arm. "You're a little thief." There was a mischievous sparkle in her eye. "You and I are going to have a lot of fun together." The girl winked at him, then sashayed back to her twins side and placed a hand on her hip. Leaning in the Colette she whispered, "I hope he gets placed with us. I could always use a new toy."
Walking beside her sister she followed the tour, a hint of annoyance on her face at the thought of Sanura. She truly hated that lioness. Claude adored cats, even Charlie, yet she couldn't stand the snotty little lion princess who though she was all that because he father was the king for a hot minute and only because he killed his own brother. Claude didn't care about killing, death was just part of the deal, but killing your own sibling? She just couldn't wrap her mind around it. Claude could never kill her sister, and would never want to. She had her back like no one else. The female's eyes flickered to her twin. Every part of her wondered what she would do without her. Every part of her also knew she could survive without her, even though she never wanted to. Claudette shoved those thoughts away and focused on Fausto the little fountain of information.
Jeanette chewed her bottom lip, a little nervous as Charlie walked over to stand with Fausto, the one who apparently needed some bribing to even take them on the tour. Maybe these guys weren't her best choice in friends. Then again, they didn't seem all that villainous. Slowly she walked over and stood beside Charlie, her eyes flickering to Jax as he scooped out the money to pay Fausto. Her eyes clearly showed her disapproval, but she knew better than to voice her opinions in front of them all. She would talk to him later, probably. Nettie turned to Fausto and Charlie. Part of her didn't really know what to say to them, so she just remained quiet by their sides. If they wanted to talk to her they would, if not, then that was that.
Jeanette never felt like she belonged anywhere. Not back in Auradon. Not with her father. Not with anyone. Not even on Jaxon's ship when she went sailing with him. The moment her feet touched the creaking wood of the docks something just felt right. Maybe this was were she was supposed to be all along, instead of on the main land filled with Princess Goody Two Shoes and Prince Goody Two Shoes.
As Fausto began talking about Sanura, whoever that was, she shifted a little nervously. She wanted to claw their eyes out? Maybe things weren't as safe as they looked on the docks. Jeanette shot a glance at Charlie, nervous. Part of her hoped she didn't end up at Serpent High. If push came to shove she would rather be at whatever school Cruella's daughters were at. At least they didn't look like they would claw her eyes out. OOC Nettie is honestly so adorable though. Too innocent and pure for this world.
Also, Charlie to Fausto, Jax, Nettie, and anyone else that chooses to get involved with this annoying catboy.
IC Charlie had watched as Jax slipped off, pit picketing anyone he could. Pfft, like that was so hard. All you had to do was go in unnoticed, steal some money, and be on your merry way. Charlie could’ve done that if he wanted. Of course, Charlie was adamant to be against the Sparrow boy at the moment. Having already decided that from when they met. It was a petty and unreasonable thing to do, considering he was literally just holding a grudge against him for how similar of a situation their parents had been, yet how differently they had been treated.
One, a thieving pirate, allowed to stay on Auradon, free to do as he wish. Another, a simple cat that had done no right or wrong, cast away on an Isle for villains just because he wasn’t good enough.
It was enough for Charlie to be very bitter about it.
When Jax slipped back and handed Fausto the money, which resulted in his friend...ly business partner acting as if Jax was the best thing since money itself was invented, a scowl made its way to Charlie’s face. It didn’t last a long, no longer than a second. But for that second, his face had darkened considerably before the glare leapt off his face as fast as it appeared and Charlie replaced it with a Cheshire like grin, looking up at Fausto as he was nudged. Laughing quietly(and a little bitterly) along. “Haha, yeah, I wouldn’t go that far just yet,” he said, mostly to himself.
He shot Jax a quick glare after. Stupid pirate boy, what next? Would he steal his job too? Replace him? Okay Charlie, now you’re just being unreasonable. No one could replace you. No one was that catty.
Charlie shook his head slightly, settling on ignoring him for now, as he instead, put his focus on Nettie. Who he still wasn’t sure he should be talking to, and couldn’t honestly say he had made his mind on her yet. “Yeah, Sanura’s someone to watch out for, then again, perhaps it’s best to watch out for anyone on this island anyways. You never really know who is friend or foe,” he explained to her, glancing around briefly at the other villains kids there.
That was one thing that was severely lacking in this place. Trust. Charlie sure didn’t trust anyone there...well, maybe Fausto, but even then, if a situation ever came around where it was him, or money, Charlie was fairly certain Fausto would choose the money. So trust was sketchy there, at best.
OOC Here ya go, Ross!

Adelaide--
Addie slipped her hands into her pockets as Harley inspected her books. Suddenly she felt a little nervous. What if her books weren't good enough? Laughable? Sure there were a few of those cheesy romance novels mixed in there, but there weren't exactly a large array of books she could get without her father knowing about it. Oddly Harley seemed pleased by the books, perhaps not so much the content, but the fact she'd read them so much.
Adelaide rolled onto her toes and landed back on her heels, making a light clack that echoed in the small cave. "I try to. I could probably recite half of them. They're all I have. I leave them out here because the last book I brought home my father threw into the fire." She shrugged, looking a little saddened by it, but quickly tried to hide it. "Really? You'd let me borrow one of your books?" Her green eyes sparkled in interest, it had been some time since she had a new story to read. She'd just read the same adventures over and over again. Harley was smiling, which was probably very rare and it made Adelaide smile back at her. It felt nice, almost like she had a friend. "How many books do you have?"

IC Harley tentatively reached inside the box to examine the book, opening it and flipping through the pages, then she turned it over to read what was on the back, then putting it back in the box. She did this with a few other books too, just to get a feel for what Adelaide liked to read. “I have more than this, but not near as much as I want. It’s not like there’s a lot of reading options here, but my dad’s made an effort to get me a book whenever he sees one, and I’ve kept a look out as well, it’s a nice collection,” Harley explained as she picked up another one of the books, making sure to be careful with them.
“Though, some of them are a little strange. Dad takes me liking to read, to mean that I’ll read anything, so I’ve got some books on some more...interesting topics, but I’ll still read them, I’m not picky...Okay, well, that’s a lie, I can’t bring myself to read trashy, vampire, romance novels. I just can’t do it,” Harley explained with a small shake of her head as she finished looking at the books, setting the last one back in the box.
After a moment, she stood up, glancing around for a moment before looking to Adelaide. “If you want, you can come see my book collection, Mav isn’t home right now, and I honestly don’t know about my dad, you could meet Spot, browse through my books, I live in the outskirts of the town, shouldn’t be too long of a walk,” Harley suggested, giving a small shrug. She would understand if Adelaide didn’t want to, or had better things to do with her time. But Harley was at least willing to offer the option to her.

Adelaide--
The girl glanced towards the opening, listening to some bird outside as Harley examined her books. The other girl seemed very intent on learning more about her reading preferences. When she started speaking Adelaide looks down at her and smiles a little. She touched the bow in her hair lightly, a gift from her father. When she mentioned trashy vampire books she laughed, "Kinda like Twilight?" She placed her hands on her hips and then crouched down and dug out one of the books, it looked a little newer than the others. "Or this one. It's called At First Lust. It's exactly what you'd hate. I found it on a bench and snagged it, it wasn't the worst thing I've ever read, but there is a reason it's at the bottom of the crate." She smiles softly at Harley.
Nodding a little she looked at Harley. "Sure that sounds great." Adelaide perked up a little at the idea of meeting Spot. "I'm going to fall in love with your dog and get stuck with me." She teased her as she covered her books back up carefully and tucks it behind a large rock. She picks up the lantern and looks at Harley. "Let's go. I seriously want to meet Spot and fall in love with him." Adelaide grins widely at the idea.

Jaxon Sparrow --
When Fausto took the money, he stepped back a little, feeling a grin shift it's way on to his lips. He knew his crew would not be happy with him, especially since it was wrong to pick-pocket anyone, but Jaxon really couldn't help himself. He had sticky fingers, and enjoyed what he did. Though, he still tended to be a somewhat good leader. His gaze shifted directly towards his sister, Jeanette, noticing the look of disappointment. He opened his mouth before closing it again. He knew they'd be talking later. Jaxon could feel it in his gut. He and his sister were different- but that's what he loved about them. It gave him all the more reason to love her- because she wasn't like him. He didn't want Jeanette to be a thief. It was a bad path to take. It was only a matter of time before the king and queen of Auradon figured out his ways, and ship him off to the Isle of the Lost instead. When Claude began to speak to him, he couldn't help his face from warming up. "Yeah. When you've got a thieving pirate father, you learn a few things. Practice and skill." He told the de Vil daughter, a grin shifting onto his face.
"Now, I don't think I'd consider myself a partner. Just think of it as... I have no money one me to offer, so pick pocketing was the best I could do." He explained, glancing at Charlie. He could feel the dislike radiating off of the Cheshire cat descendant. But, he still said nothing about iit. Maybe at one point he could get into his head and be a friend. But for now, he just remained close to his group of Auradon transfers, and frowned. "Where is our first stop, Fausto? We don't want this tour to go on too long, before you beg me to get you more money."

Colette, Fausto --> Auradon kids { -` gumi ´- .✫ 🐾 , 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 , Feathertalon , @wildmask , @angelfur }
"Trust me, I'm keeping my fingers crossed." Colette answered her sister under her breath, before smirking at Fausto. "Looks like someone has you figured out, Facilier." A smirk was flashed at the boys, entertained by this whole interaction. She couldn't say she came down to the docks expecting to enjoy meeting these kids, but here they were.
Fausto gave a helpless shrug, grinning at the comments. "You got me." He admitted, before adding a little more seriously. "In all seriousness, I'm taking y'all mostly through the main part of town. I don't feel like wrangling Surana right now, and I think I speak for you ladies when I say you'd be better off with that little black cat not crossing your path?" The tease was aimed toward the de Vil sisters.
Collie had to find herself in agreement, rolling her eyes. She wasn't up to dealing with that headache today, especially after having to deal with Maria. "Yeah, it's better to get off the docks. It stinks out here." She agreed.
"Right, well have y'all eaten yet?" Maybe it was time for the Auradon kids to get their first taste - literally and figuratively - of the Isle.

Claudette and Jeanette –
Jeanette looks to Charlie and nods slowly. “I’ll keep that in mind.” She offered him a small smile. Her eyes shifting nervously between everyone as they began the tour. Once the group had started moving and Fausto was talking loudly she leaned closer to Charlie. “Don’t trust the Auradon children either. You can never rely on a good person to always be good. I should know. I grew up beside them all and probably three could tell you my name and that’s only because of Jaxon.” She let her whisper trail off as she shook her head. Shoving her hands in her pockets she looked a little nervous as they treaded farther into the island. Of course, she was afraid, but it couldn’t be all bad. Right? Casting a glance at her brother, a hint of sadness on her face, she tried to hide it, but she had never been very good at hiding her emotions with him.
Claudette laughed and patted his arm lightly, “Oh honey. We know a thing or two about that.” The de Vil twin returned to Colette’s side and whispered. “Why did you ever break up with him again? He’s cute and has an amazing behind.” She locked arms with her sister as they walked. Of course, she was just teasing her twin. Claude would never go after one of her sister’s exes, though Collie was allowed to go after any of her’s, since not a one of them had been anything more than a fling. “Mhm. I hate fish. This jacket is going to smell like that prissy little cat for a month. I may as well burn it now.” She huffed in annoyance, part of her still hating her twins former best friend.

OOC Charlie to Nettie, Fausto, Jax, Claude, Collie, Ruby, and anyone else that’s there that I can’t remember. -` gumi ´- .✫ 🐾, Headphone Actor, @angelfur, @wildmask.
IC Charlie tried to keep up with the others, stand beside Fausto as if to remind everyone that “hey, I’m his partner, I’m here too” because Charlie was annoying like that. But he wasn’t really feeling the need for attention right now. It would probably kick in later and he’d get clingy like he does. But for now, he was good to stay by Fausto, but slightly behind him, and talk to Nettie.
Speaking of the pirate girl. Once she mentioned the Auradon transfers, he took a moment to look around at the Auradon kids. Don’t trust them either. For some reason, that earning almost made him feel like something in him sunk. Which was ridiculous, he didn’t even like the Auradon kids. But still, it had been nice for the brief minute or so, where he had thought there really were trustworthy people there. However, he mentally shook it off. He needed to focus, come on Charlie, you’re acting like stupid fool. “Got it, don’t trust them either. Nothing new,” he said, muttering the last part under his breath.
He took a moment to look from Jax to Nettie, taking her little comment into consideration. He then nodded his head towards the Sparrow son. “He’s your brother, isn’t he?” Charlie asked, glancing back at Nettie, and a small amount of that same petty bitterness towards Jaxson, found its way towards her. He pushed it back though, considering Nettie had previously said she wasn’t on great terms with her old man.
Charlie didn’t really wait for Nettie to answer though, coming to the conclusion on his own as he took a step forward, falling back into place beside Fausto. “Where are you thinking of taking them?” He asked, figuring that’s what Fausto was getting at when he asked if they had eaten. “Wherever it is needs to have good food,” he added, not even really for the transfers. Actually mostly just because he was hungry and if he was going to eat anywhere, it needed to be good.

OOC And Harley to Addie. @wildmask
IC Harley gave a silent nod, already heading out, only stopping for a moment to pick up her notebook and pencil. “If you like reading, you should try writing some time, I know it’s not for everyone, but it’s a good way to get your thoughts somewhere other than your head. Like, on paper,” she said, casting a glance back at Adelaide, she then looked back to her own notebook, opening it up for a moment as she flickered through the pages. Half tempted to show the writings off to the other girl. But...she didn’t think they were they yet. What was written in there was personal.
She fell quiet after that, closing her book again as she looked around the outlands, making her way back to the town with ease, easily knowing where she was going. However, she didn’t hurry, there was no running. If anything else, Harley was determined to enjoy her walk back. Before she got to the mess of a house they called home. Pain and Panic might be there. Maybe Harley could convince them to clean up a bit.

Adelaide--
Walking beside the girl she nods slowly. Maybe writing would be a good idea. Keeping a journal at the least. If her father questioned it she could claim she was writing out ways to style her hair so one day someone could look as great as her. Hmm, maybe that wasn't a bad idea either. She brushed it off as she glanced at Harley. "Is that what you have in there?" she gestures to the journal, "your thoughts?" The girl doesn't reach for it or pry, though it's obvious by the curiosity in her eyes that she would love to know what the other girl wrote.
The walk back to Harley's was slow, but she couldn't complain. Addie actually enjoyed Harley's company and considering the other girl invited her over there was some hope that she enjoyed her company as well. The silence seemed to drag on and one thing Addie wasn't good at was being silent. About halfway she began to hum, but instead of the ode to her father she began humming an older tune, the lullaby her mother had sung to her as a little girl. She couldn't quite remember all the words, but enough to get the melody.

Collie, Fausto ---> Everyone, RIP { -` gumi ´- .✫ 🐾 , Feathertalon , 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 , @wildmask , @angelfur }
At this question, Collie shrugged. "It just ended, sort of." Like these things generally did. Collie and Fausto both had horrible attention spans when it came to things like relationships, and it just sort of fell apart on its own. Not that this was some horrible tragedy. "As for your jacket, you might as well. Or just set it outside for a month. Let it air out."
Fausto, on the other hand, turned his attention to his business partner. "I dunno, man. The chip shop is out, because we're leaving the docks. That leaves the slop shop and..." The witch doctor boy trailed off, thinking. "I think Frollo's place is open, if y'all don't mind him screaming at the fireplace."
