A JOURNEY TO REMEMBER for our destinies have intertwined us
The walls of Hogwarts had always been a place of tradition for as long as many can remember; house rivalry, quidditch as a sacrilege sport, Defense Against the Dark Arts professor changing every year, the Sorting Hat song, and merciless stereotypes. After the First Wizarding War, it increased. Slytherins were looked upon with a weary gaze whispers of their family working for him, the Sorting Song ranted about unification after the dark times, but nobody heeded it. Hogwarts continued to be divided in the smoke of a war that brought genocide and betrayal from multiple fronts.
However, in 1983 a ragtag group of First Years stumbled into the Great Hall, a number vastly dwindled from previous years. With bright eyes and a new wave of hope, they were young and zealous despite the continued skirmishes and bleakness from the aftermath. Professor Dumbledore knew they were special as he observed them, and others in years after that joined them. They broke the boundaries of the conventional norms within the walls of Hogwarts and turned their noses on the stereotypes that others had created long before them.
An intricate system of mutual friends and rivalry-turned-friendships, they became an unstoppable force causing uproar between their peers and the ‘tradition’ of the halls of Hogwarts as boundaries were crossed: Gryffindor and Slytherin friendship, an intelligent Hufflepuff, a werewolf, and multiple other broken barriers.

i. follow all forum and proboard rules. Any such disobedience of these rules can result in reporting and removal from roleplay.
ii. advance roleplay. That means an effort in writing and creativity; below, there is a web that connects characters with pre-established relations to the setting with open possibilities for creating more. It’s up to on the spot thinking and keeping up, despite plotting that can happen in advance and more relations can be developed. There is no line requirement, but exceptional grammar and well-written responses are encouraged.
iii. characters. For now, only one or two character may be claimed. If spots fill-up then more characters may be created to even out numbers (hence TBA slots), and if characters remain open then first-come-first-serve on the remaining slots. Characters must be realistic to the setting, with stereotypes, flaws and strengths in personality and physical appearance to make a realistic character. LGBT+ welcomed! However, do not ask for the following: animagi, metamorphmagi, werewolves & other mythical creatures, or transfer students. If a spot opens up and it is decided to add a character of the nature it is based on my decision and comes as first-claim basis.
iv. this is by no means private. Which means non-members are more than welcome to stick around when all the spots are claimed, but also know that spots may or may not be added right away. The roleplay itself is meant to be smaller in size.
v. be active. needless chatting should be kept at a minimum and a page may be made to accommodate that and plotting. However, please actively roleplay. Simply hanging around is fine to an extent, having issues in the real world is by far a thing of everyone and their lives. It gets in the way, it makes it difficult to keep up. However, to simply make a character and not roleplay (while actively being around) or create one post while others are waiting is inconsiderate to those waiting, and simply slows the roleplay as a whole. Warnings will be given if characters are not actively roleplayed.

Seven years after the aftermath of Voldemort’s shockingly abrupt defeat and subsequent disappearance without a trace at the hands of baby Harry Potter, many are still skeptical that he is dead. Many Death Eaters, however, are still at large despite the Ministry crackdown. Many innocents were released from the Imperius Curse following Voldemort’s defeat or used the Unforgivable Curse as an excuse to evade Azkaban prison. Others simply used their wealth, power, and influence to avoid punishment for their crimes. Lucius Malfoy, Corban Yaxley, Amycus and Alecto Carrow, Walden Mcnair, Gaspar Avery, Francis Crabbe, Goyle and Nott were officially considered innocent in the years after the war. Assuming Voldemort was dead and gone, they simply carried on with their daily lives. Death Eaters such as the Travers, Mulciber, and others were likewise captured and imprisoned. Fenrir Greyback, still at large, went underground along with multiple other werewolves who fought on the side of the Dark Lord; the Wizarding World still bitter and discriminating with creatures of the un-ordinary kind.
However, not all Death Eaters were content to give up Voldemort’s cause. Bellatrix, Rodolphus, and Rabastan Lestrange, along with others, proclaimed loyalty and declared that the Dark Lord would return. Some who were considered innocent continue to search and work as agents for the Dark Lord to this very day.
With dark forces having terrorised the wizarding communities of Great Britain for over a decade with a war that claimed numerous victims, and scarred, bereaved, and traumatised countless others; the survivors of the war began to rebuild their lives and families once again. Hogwarts still maintained as a haven for students between eleven and seventeen, though after the war the numbers of First Years began and remained dwindled.1988 Faculty Roster

They have sort of become a liaison between two friends, the Maverick is close friends with both the Archer and Mastermind. When the topic of the other arises, he’s swift to inform the other of how well their counterpart is doing and if anything has happened recently. Confused on why the duo don’t talk much anymore, they have made it a mission to push the two together again and break the stereotypes.
The Maverick absolutely hates bullies, and anyone bullied immediately earns the Maverick’s heart to melt. It’s this that the Maverick was able to become quick friends with the Everyman, Catalyst, and Scholar; each whom have been induced to their own fair share of bullying since start of Hogwarts.
As a Prefect, you would probably expect Max to be the kind of kid who stays out of trouble. A good, rule-abiding student who turns his work in on time and goes to bed at 10pm sharp. Max, though, has a thing with defying presumptions. A jovial, intelligent, tenacious boy, Maximilian Quinn has the kind of self-confidence that justifies nearly every questionable action. Perhaps he was only made a prefect because of his ability to talk himself out of anything. He carries himself with a charm not cocky, but suave, less of a businessman and more of a friend. Max prides himself on being a warm person. It is rare to find him without a smile on his face, one that extends to his eyes nonetheless. It must be this warmth and charm that allows him to get away with so much, because Max has a tendency to stick his nose in things he doesn’t belong in. He will insert himself into any situation that he believes he can improve. His goal is to fix everyone; to make the world a better, happy place. In this way he’s a bit of a bull in a china shop; while he’s acting out of a good heart, he has a tendency to mess things by becoming over-involved in other people’s lives. He will try and force two unlatching puzzle pieces together until they break. So great is Max’s fear of failure that he refuses to admit his own short-comings. There is no situation that can’t be fixed, no person he can’t help, nothing that cannot be eventually salvaged. It is this blind faith in his own ability, in the idea that everything must work out in the end or else it’s not the end, that is his hubris. Max is a tall boy, standing at 6’2, with an athletic body (he works out), dark skin, and brown eyes.
Max was born in a Muggleborn family, and even though the risk to his family was more slight due to them being muggles, when he warned them of what was going on in their world they felt the need to protect themselves. His parents did this by fleeing the country, leaving Max and his sister, Rose, to stay with his Aunt during this past summer. He holds a lot of resentment against his parents for what he perceives as their cowardice, but refuses to let this show other than in subtly scathing remarks and never responding to any of their letters. The Archer hates being defined by their elder sibling who graduated from Hogwarts with academic achievements. Not becoming of anything, losing the position of captain and never being given the status of Prefect, they fall short in their family eyes. Thankfully, one of the strengths of the Archer is being incapable of blaming their friends and classmates who rose above the Archer. However, anyone who mentions the elder sibling in vain may receive a swift punch or jinx.
However, the Archer has found themselves a close friend to the Maverick, whom has had to listen to common room rants with the patience of a saint. It is not uncommon for them to sit by the fire, working on homework and simply talking about the menials of life.

Due to an ever growing between themself and a certain Ravenclaw, the Sovereign has become quick best friends with the Catalyst. It’s amusing, the Catalyst (a Muggle expert) talks about something from the world of Muggles, and the Sovereign stares blankly and demands to be introduced. This has led to multiple interesting conversations and inside jokes between the two and Muggle antics.
The Sovereign, though a good student, is not the brightest in some area of studies. Though merely friends, the Defender has become an excellent tutor (the Scholar refuses due to them becoming ‘distracted’). Where the Defender rants about their best friend, the Sovereign is able to talk freely about the Scholar knowing that the Defender is able to give advice on the subject.
He harnesses joy and love like there's no tomorrow. As this lean Gryffindor's wicked and vigorous smile subtly implies, Vernon is someone who finds life in anything and makes damn well certain that he appreciates every bit of it, no matter how idle something may seem. In fact, most individuals find it difficult to understand his sheer affection for trivial matters and people. What they don’t realize is that the lack of understanding they face when regarding him works in his favour, as he oftentimes has underhanded intentions behind his behavior (albeit good). Jocose, confident, courageous, motivating, loyal, magnanimous, and reliable, his guise as a tactless individual obscures a down-to-earth strategist who rarely surfaces unless needed otherwise. So in that sense, deep down, he’s serious and even reserved with an intense level of concentration, although it's true that his fiery impulsiveness can be a juxtaposition to these virtues during certain circumstances, not to mention garner a good amount of undesirable attention. Elicit a reaction from him, good or bad, and there's no stopping him from crusading through something. In other words, much to the open horror of others, he'll gladly place himself in harm's way if it means that he'll be able to shield someone - even someone he isn't entirely familiar with. To that end, for Vernon Castellanos, the safety of his crew comes far before his pride, and he's fully aware that it's his unconditional love for them that may just get him killed. The Innocent is a follower and yes-wo/man. Despite being a completely unique person, they enjoy cherishing and following their housemates footsteps and actions. Idolizing the older students, its not uncommon to see them around the the Maverick, Archer, and Sovereign in the common room.
Being younger, the Innocent is valued by the Evolutionary. Mostly because of the intelligence the Innocent radiates ideal intelligence and complete understanding of the trio that makes the Evolutionary’s friend group.
Henrietta has stunning blue eyes that shine like pale sapphires, both of which are outlined by long, delicate lashes. She has a long mane of chestnut colored hair which flows to her mid-back. Her skin is rather pale, and unmarked by any blemishes, except for the small birthmark she has on her arm. She isn't very tall, as she stands at only 5'3", which only adds to her innocent and sweet demeanor. She has a slim figure with soft curves. Henrietta is a very sweet and lovely young lady. She's always there to lend a helping hand, and is very loyal to her friends. She loves to hang out with the older students, and to her, they are some of the most incredible people in the world. Henrietta is a very bright student, and some even say she's more Ravenclaw than Gryffindor. Despite her near incredible intelligence, she is very forgettable and naiive, often getting into trouble for forgetting homework or doing something that was so dumb, you can almost see the genius of it all. She is guided by her pure, strong heart, not her steady and clever mind. She has been known to make some rather bold and somewhat reckless moves, but nothing can stop this doe-eyed sugar plum from doing what she deems is right. Henrietta was raised in a small town in the English countryside. Her parents never hand another child, but she never really cared about being an only child. Her mother is a witch while her father is a Muggle, and ever since she found out about magic, Henrietta could barely wait to go to school. She always wanted to be a Gryffindor, like her mother, and it took the Sorting Hat only a second to send her to the house of her dreams.Best Friend(s) | The Catalyst, The Everyman | Close To | The Evolutionary | Romance | N/A | Stranger To | The Victor, The Imperial, The Mastermind, The Mediator, The Authentic | Rival To | N/A | Friends | The Defender, The Scholar, The Maverick, The Archer, The Sovereign, The Detective, The Talent |

Essentially the most known person of everyone, the Everyman has no qualms and is diligent in their work and life choices. Most of their relations are based at Hogwarts, with few letters and possible hangouts with best friends over the summer. Otherwise, this person is known at school by the school, but little beyond their scholarly life.
The Everyman only finds rivalry between the Imperial because of the Imperial’s mischievous nature. Naturally catching them performing a prank, The Everyman is forced to send them to the Head of House to receive reduction of points.

The Catalyst and the Innocent have become great friends from being in the same year and same classes. Having no known enemies, the Catalyst is the complete stereotypical Hufflepuff as a ball of sunshine who easily makes friends, with no known bad blood.
The Catalyst makes friends almost anyone, however, they really attached to the Innocent. Maybe it’s the doe-eyes or a unrequited crush. Who knows, however, it’s simply entertaining to watch them follow around the follower.
Wynn really does seem to be the quintessential Hufflepuff. Chances are, she's one of the first students you'll meet at Hogwarts. She's amicable, outgoing, and perpetually looking for activities to take part in. She has a knack for bad decisions- a secret for-money exploding snap tournament, a few sneak emprises into Hogsmeade, and playing matchmaker between friends. She adores and is adored by Henrietta and Vernon because of the intoxicating nature of going on an adventure with her, and she even gets Skylar to step away from a book every once in a while. Her likability comes in part from the fact that these qualities, combined with her ok grades (save potions) and quidditch playing, make her seem so non-threatening. Sure, sometimes she get over-competitive at wizard chess or exploding snap, but she always remains a good sport throughout.
Well, at least she used to. Lately, something about her has changed. Maybe it's the dark times, her perceived inadequateness compared to her brother, or just growing pains, but Wynn is not always the cheery girl she was. Her witty jokes have a nasty self-deprecating bite, and her antics seem riskier and riskier. Nonetheless, she remains a friendly face to all, a fierce friend to some, and a surprisingly good potions partner to anyone in her class who pairs up with her.
Wynn has dark amber eyes with flecks of green on their outer rims, and long, thick brown eyelashes. Her muted golden hair falls in waves just below her shoulders, and is usually kept back in a loose half-pony. Her most attractive feature is her smile, which when genuine lights up her normally innocuous eyes.Best Friend(s) | The Scholar, The Sovereign, The Innocent | Close To | The Evolutionary, The Everyman, The Defender, The Authentic | Romance | N/A | Stranger To | The Imperial, The Victor | Rival To | N/A | Friends | The Maverick, The Archer, The Mastermind, The Mediator, The Talent, The Detective |

The Evolutionary is notorious for blowing up potions and causing cauldrons to melt. Constantly hopping between partners, per Snape’s demands, the Evolutionary never was able to complete an assignment correct until the Mediator became their partner. With a solid glare, the Mediator not only has been able to tame the Evolutionary’s exuberant and erratical behavior in and out of the classroom. Not only, their closeness has rumored possible romance (or maybe the Mediator just doesn’t want Hogwarts to blow up) between the odd paired duo.
The Evolutionary and the Victor simply found a distaste for each other after a class in their first year. Their rivalry, not unfounded as both happen to have personalities that butt-heads, seemed to be apparent simply based on their first-year encounter and subsequent ones after that. Where the Evolutionary excels in knowledge, the Victor mocks. When the Victor crashes in Quidditch, the Evolutionary reminds. It’s a pattern with no real start.
An average height of 6 feet even with a lanky and lackluster build, though many have commented (and attempted to coerce) that it was the perfect for Quidditch Seeker. If not for the complete lack of sight without his glasses and accident was another name for Farley as a person, he would. If tripping over one’s own feet were a skill—Farley would be an expert in it. His eyes had a note of blue to the greenish tint; and he had the same sharp glance for reading people. His hair could never be tidy if he tried, but thankfully messy was a look that (in the words of his best friend) worked well for his mad genius—that said Farley Keegan was born with two parts enthusiasm, one part adventurous, one part madness, and nine parts friendship and dependence.Best Friend(s) | The Defender | Close To | The Scholar, The Innocent, The Everyman, The Authentic | Romance | The Mediator | Stranger To | The Maverick, The Archer, The Sovereign, The Mastermind, The Talent, The Detective | Rival To | The Victor, The Imperial | Friends | N/A |

The Authentic was the first person to greet the Evolutionary at their sorting in the first year. They practically do everything homework-related and class-related together. Being naturally dependable on each other and their friends, the Defender and the Scholar, they attempt to get through Hogwarts with (mostly) passing grades. The Authentic feels the dumbest of them all, though.
It isn’t so much the Authentic and the Detective don’t know each other exist, but due to their mutual friend and knowing that the Authentic is a means of ‘getting away from the Detective for a bit’, they tend not to acknowledge each other.
Nic is a rather handsome devil, if I do say so myself. He looms over most people at the height of 6'4" and he has a rather solid build. He has lightly tanned skin and stunning hazel eyes that lean more onto the green side. His blonde hair falls to his shoulders in loose curls. He always has a friendly smile on his face, and his eyes have a kind and warm light to them. Nic is a pretty chill guy, He is very kind and is someone who always is there to be a good friend or a helping hand. The Scholar and the Sovereign have been rumored on and off romance, if not a close friendship. There’s something about the Sovereign’s brawns and the Scholar’s brains that attracted each other into amicable terms. Though nothing is confirmed, everyone often wonders about the two.
The Catalyst and the Scholar grew up in the same community as close friends since childhood. They know each other’s secrets, peeves, and basically anything about one another. It’s rare to not see them together once a day.
Skylar is just what you'd expect from a prefect. She sets her goals high and aims even higher, striving to make excellent marks and beating herself up over any grades that don't meet her standard. She asks a lot of herself yet, somehow, manages to meet the bar-- seemingly with effortless grace (Unless you count the disaster that was Flying Lessons during first year). Her marks are excellent, she hasn't been late for a single class, and she accepts her prefect duties and carries them out with practiced perfection. She hasn't been in detention, at least, not that anyone knows of (she may be keeping a few detentions secret from anyone else). She has the almost stuck-up air of someone who regards themselves above others at times, and has a habit of talking down to people who she deems to be less intelligent than herself, a habit that she is trying to break. One thing that she isn't, however, is neat. She considers herself organized; she has her own system, and she knows where everything of hers is, though an outsider looking in would see nothing but a disaster. Her small section of the dormitory looks like a tornado ran through it, with discarded parchment, broken quills, and books strewn everywhere, and even a few ink stains on the bedspread that show signs of a failed attempt to scrub them up. One thing that she is for sure is dedicated to her friends, whom she regards as her family, regardless of where they came from. [The Catalyst] in particular is someone who she regards almost like the sibling that she never had, while she has made a habit of staying up well past midnight on the night of the full moon, pacing around the common area and sending away anyone curious enough to check on her, awaiting the return of [The Defender] so that they don't have to worry about answering potentially awkward questions, like why they're out so late.Best Friend(s) | The Catalyst, The Defender | Close To | The Evolutionary, The Mediator | Romance | The Sovereign | Stranger To | The Imperial, The Victor, The Mastermind | Rival To | N/A | Friends | The Innocent, The Everyman, The Maverick, The Archer, The Detective, The Talent, The Authentic |

The Defender is not the first werewolf to frequent Hogwarts. With knowledge of Remus Lupin, a student who previously attended Hogwarts has become a mentor and person who letters are addressed to. Fortunately, the Defender is given Wolfsbane Potion brewed by the Potions Master to ease the symptoms of lycanthropy. However, they still must remain hidden in the Shrieking Shack during the full moon. The only ones with knowledge of The Defender’s lycanthropy are the Evolutionary and Scholar (whom frequently covers the Defender’s track during the full moon and homework assignments).
It is suggested the Imperial may have an idea on The Defender’s disease, which sparked anger between the Evolutionary, Defender, and Imperial; though the Evolutionary is the most vocal about this rivalry. The Defender is just…dragged along.
Murdock is bringing punk with her to Hogwarts. A tall, pale girl, standing at about six foot two inches, with strong, broad shoulders and legs. Her rangy build and harshly cropped shock of black hair (self cut, of course) make her look quite scarecrow-ish, like she’s made of straw and her hands and feet alone weigh her down. Her movements are slow and careful, but still lumbering, almost like she’s underwater. Her eyes are hazel and she has multiple piercings, particularly on her ears, eyebrows, and nose, though most of them get removed during school hours and on the nights she's due to shift. Her back and chest are heavy scarred, and she has a scar splitting her top lip that goes right up, and only narrowly misses the inner corner of her right eye. There are often dark purple circles underneath Murdock’s eyes, and on her left calf there’s a large bite mark digging into her flesh, though very few people have seen it. A calm, constant presence at the back of the class or at the end of the Quidditch bleachers, she doesn’t always say much but she’s watching everything. Murdock’s quiet ways shouldn’t be mistaken for a meek attitude, she’s as stubborn as an ox and being told she’s wrong only makes her drag her heels more. She’s got a sharp tongue and is an observant character who likes to be around a close crowd, telling stupid jokes and lying peacefully on the grass with her eyes closed. It’s hard to get a rise out of her because she’s spent so many years repressing her emotions, and this has resulted to some troubling isolating behavior, she’d rather distance herself from her friends then admit anything’s wrong. She can be paranoid, cold, and aggressive when frightened, but mainly Murdock is mellow, good fun, and quietly rebellious: the ideal chaotic neutral. Despite her size, strength, and appearance, she’s playful, clement, and goes about her day as gently as she can. She’d rarely turn down helping someone, either with homework or a prank. Ironically, she’s good with other people’s emotions, and this empathetic intelligence is what really earned her a blue tie. Her paranoia manifests itself in a ‘Strike before you’re struck’ manner, making her the first the volunteer in class but also the first to lash out when put in a corner. She’s got a protective side to her (more ‘fun uncle’ than ‘mother figure’), and is achingly loyal to her friends, she wouldn’t be as easy going today if it weren’t for them. She feels guilty occasionally, after a bad mood swing or a difficult night, but is always grateful for their patience.

The Detective isn’t a friendly person, but isn’t a rogue either. Though they moreover find their ‘friends’ as ‘mild acquaintances’ they have met throughout the school year. In fact, the Detective prefers to stick to what they know: the Talent and doing things on their own.
It isn’t unusual to see someone of high-up pureblood status to find themselves without many friends before Hogwarts but to know names. The Detective and the Mastermind family have been friends previous, but no real connections between the two have been made in Hogwarts; however, the Detective knows the family name and what had happened in the previous war and the alignment.

The trash talker there is one the Quidditch pitch, everyone who isn’t light-hearted to the game ends up in a small rivalry to The Talent. The Sovereign, the Archer, and the Victor all have ended up huffed due to the Talent’s quick-wit and naturally excellent flying skills.
The Talent always complains of the Detective’s company being: “getting analyzed with hmm’s and ha’s” thus they have company in the Authentic; an approachable person who happened to be around when the Talent was bored. Though they don’t hang out every day (The Talent and Detective are two peas in their own pod), the Authentic is one person that the Talent can go to.
It might be hard to imagine how so much energy inhabits such a small system; Eddie Marlowe is a contained, 5'1" star; she is hot and incredibly volatile. On any given day Eddie probably picks a fight with at least five people - usually about trivial matters, but she gets her kicks out of conflict. Toned both mentally and physically, Eddie spars as a hobby to exercise her assumed superiority over her peers. This is probably why she doesn't have that many friends. While tiny, Eddie is hard to miss; she rarely dresses in uniform, and you can usually hear her coming before you see her. (She wears heels. A lot.) Eddie also happens to be a very proud individual. Certainly she has many things to be proud of: she is a quidditch prodigy, maintains her body wonderfully (it is not rare for a 15 year old boy, upon seeing her, to hoot "dammmnnn, she thiccccc"; Eddie probably flips them off in response), and excels in academics. All of these activities take a lot of time though, so she's constantly busy. Eddie has an issue with comparing herself to other people, even though she will maintain that she has enough self-confidence that no one else's opinions matter to her. And she acts like no one else matters; like said, she's self-contained. Everyone could leave her and she would be fine. Even though she's a fireball of a person, she likes to describe herself as chill, and truthfully, she is - at times. It's like Eddie has an off and on switch; she's either sharp wit and teeth or laying back on a couch smiling and lacing her snark in honey. To those she cares about though, Eddie is fiercely loyal, and would throw hands if anyone even looked at her friends (all two of them) the wrong way. She displays affection through offense; she's bad with love but does feel it, deeply, nonetheless.
Eddie was raised in the muggle world by a single mother. Growing up Milena Marlowe always described Eddie's father as a "magical man". All Eddie knows about her father is that he was apparently extraordinarily beautiful, he used to hook up with her mother (Milena was, apparently, quite """in love""" with him; an immature infatuationcertainly) and that, just like the magician, at the end of his show he left. The show ended, as it tends to, when Milena revealed she was pregnant and wanted to keep the baby. When Eddie was 9 she started showing bizarre signs of magic which terrified Milena. (She thought her baby was possessed). The letter from Hogwarts came as a massive surprise but also with relief, as it at least showed that Eddie wasn't a vehicle for Satan. THE MASTERMIND
LUA BLUE CARMICHAEL Lulu Self-Reliant. Skillful. Meticulous.

| Date of Birth | September 4, 1971 | Year | 6th Year | Wand | 12½" Ebony, Unicorn, Slightly Yielding | Patronus | Tiger |

The Mastermind and the Archer live in mansions near each other. Friends outside of Hogwarts and still rather close (however the Mastermind’s family disapproved), their bond had become more distant since their first-year sorting and the stereotypes that came with it. Though they could name hobbies, peeves, and basic facts about each other, it’s an odd rather invisible friendship.
Coming from a family of known involvement with the Dark Lord, The Mastermind’s family pleaded innocence using the Imperius Curse as an excuse, alongside with their Ministry influence. The Mastermind, however, has been left in the dark to the involvement of their family, but is very nosey and wishes to know the true extent to which their parents committed crimes and treason to the Wizarding kind.
With the deep sense of justice she harbors, it’s difficult to understand why this mysterious young woman wasn't sorted in Gryffindor. However, ultimately, it is her shrewd ambition, keen eye for detail, and goal-oriented perception that sorts her in Slytherin. Independency and responsibility were highly encouraged throughout her childhood, molding the pros and cons of her character. This is because while her self-reliant nature has given her the ability to craft swift judgements under extremely pressuring circumstances, making her a highly perceptive ally to be desired and a nightmarish enemy to be feared, she does not turn for help even when it is direly necessary. This is not necessarily a result of pride, but rather a result of how she was raised. Contrary to common belief, Lua is, in fact, far more sensitive, supportive, lonely, and sweet than what she lets on, and is shown to carry great emotional intelligence where it counts. While her insight in people's true character makes her extraordinarily good at manipulating them (which she's perfectly willing to do if she thinks it as necessary), without firm reason, she'll adamantly refuse to utilize this against those around herself. Her initial attitude - the calculated reticence she displays - only comes from her intense fear of losing those dear to herself and being despised, prompting her to distance herself from others until she has no choice but to succumb to her unconditional protectiveness and love for them. Standing around 5'3", Lua is a lithe young witch with large, keen brown eyes. The Mediator is the only respectable friend to the Mastermind. Both being from respectable pureblood families, outside of Hogwarts it is the Mediator who can visit Mastermind with parental approval.
Many simply assume the Mediator is a stuck-up Slytherin from an elite family, but those who know them understands that is not the case. Meticulous as to not step on toes and garner unwanted attention, the Mediator is simply stealthy when it comes from breaking the norms. You won’t find them sitting at the Hufflepuff table, but maybe in a classroom helping and studying with friends from other houses.
Standing at the height of 5’5, Veronica considers herself to be of average height and stature. She has an athletic, lean figure, perfect for her position as chaser and captain of the Slytherin quidditch team. Her wavy caramel-brown hair is always in some up-do, whether neat or messy, and she is rarely seen with her hair down. Her eyes are a deep amber-brown, with light brown flecks that seems to remind people of chocolate. Ronnie has a quiet personality, but that doesn’t mean she’s shy. She speaks her mind when she feels it’s needed and she is very intelligent. She can come off as a bit apathetic, only interested in things that she likes and ignores everything else. Some may view her as arrogant and sometimes bossy, but more often than not, she’s right most of the time in most situations, and will rise to the occasion to assume a place of leadership if needed. She’s a private person and likes to be alone or with her close friends. She isn’t a purposefully cruel person, and rather she can be a kind and gentle if you break through her tough exterior as a ‘moody and quiet’ girl. She is also resourceful and adaptable to her surroundings and rarely lets her emotions play a role in influencing her decisions. She’s also ambitious and eager to learn new things. Raised as a pureblood, she has been entitled to many things in her life. But being born into a well-known pureblood family has its perks and downfalls, and to Ronnie, her life has had a share of both. Her family, although Purebloods, don’t have any ill will against muggleborns, although they may not outright take their side. As the Mediator, she likes to learn all sides of the story before making a decision. But sometimes, she can be very stubborn about her decisions and unyielding to make a change once she’s decided on her course.Best Friend(s) | N/A | Close To | The Defender, The Scholar, The Mastermind | Romance | The Evolutionary | Stranger To | The Maverick, The Archer, The Sovereign, The Innocent, The Detective, The Talent | Rival To | N/A | Friends | The Imperial, The Everyman, The Catalyst, The Victor, The Authentic |

The Imperial is from a family of do-good against the dark forces. Which automatically makes them the black sheep. Only close to the Sovereign due to being family and growing up a year apart, the Imperial has no real ties to anyone in Hogwarts. Friends is a vague term for mutual acquaintances in his House.
However, the Imperial has a natural habit of making enemies. With a quick-tongue and blood purity thinking, he follows traditional values set by his House and simply angers and frustrates others.

The Victor and the Sovereign have a long-standing quidditch rivalry. Sometimes it appears in the hallways and classrooms in the form of snark and classic Gryffindor and Slytherin opposition.
The Victor’s best friend growing up was the Maverick. The Maverick lived in the Muggle community near the Victor, whom helped save the young Maverick from bullies as children. Their friendship strengthened at Hogwarts in destroying the stereotypes of their Houses. However, there are others who look at the friendship in loathing and disgust.

William "Bill" Weasley 7th year Eldest Weasley child. Described as "cool", laid back and easy going. However, he has a serious side, being a high academic achiever in Hogwarts. [CANON]
Charles "Charlie" Weasley 5th year Second eldest. Always more of an outdoor type. Likes animals and magical creatures, hangs around Hagrid and Kettleburn a lot. [CANON]
Percy Weasley 2nd year Extremely ambitious and dedicated to his goals. A stickler for rules and regulations, respects authority. [CANON]
Oliver Wood 2nd year Intensely driven, competitive personality. Determined to become Quidditch Captain one day. [CANON]
Phoebe Moore 6th year A high-achieving pure-blood witch who would be described by her friends as "er...engaging" and "most likely to say daddy unironically". Phoebe has a need to succeed, and ties her personal image closely to the word 'perfection'. She can be intense and over-bearing (the kind of girl whose stress stresses you out) but she's sweet once you can get her to relax.
Nymphadora Tonks 5th year Enthusiastic, bubbly, and easily able to make friends with people she just meets. Notoriously clumsy. Also subjects others to light-heart pranks using her Metamorphmagus ability. [CANON]
Rosaline Quinn 7th year Soft spoken and kind, Rose Quinn is a flower both in name in disposition. Despite her demure nature, she is incredibly impulsive and rather irresponsible; her alignment would easily be chaotic good. Though she is in the final year of her studies she has no idea what she wants to do with her life.
Penelope Clearwater 1st year Prudent girl just sorted into Ravenclaw. [CANON]
Eliya Sokol 6th year Sharp-tongued and witty, Eliya approaches life with a dark levity; he knows no boundaries between what is appropriate and inappropriate to make a joke about. Fortunately, he doesn't take himself too seriously. He already exceeds in both academics and physicality, adding pomposity would make him unbearable. Eliya is an extremely empathetic person beneath his biting sarcasm, fronting to conceal a deep well of feeling he doesn't understand (he's as emotionally constipated as a child on crack cocaine) . He listens to Indie music as he lifts. It's an aesthetic. Eliya is a muggle-born Jew struggling to coincide witchcraft and religion.
Marcus Flint 2nd year Does not follow good sportsmanship. Not very intelligent. [CANON]
Lucian Boyle 1st year Rather arrogant and annoying first year sorted in Slytherin House. Comes from a pureblood Death Eater family. [CANON]
Peregrine Derrick 1st year Timid but snarky. Simply chooses to ignore rather than confront. Also comes from a pureblood Death Eater family. [CANON]

10/01/1988 7:00 AM 30 Days Until Halloween.
______________________________________________________
Sometimes Farley wished the wizarding world would wisen up and start using technology already. He doesn’t bring it up much to anyone, because then his housemate Travis MacDonald gets into one of his fervent know-it-all rants in the common room about magic and technology and starts screaming at innocent first years. However, privately, Farley has always thought that wizards should give muggle inventions a second thought.
Especially, he thinks groggily as Sullivan rolls onto his bed, alarm clocks. What Farley wouldn’t give to be woken up one morning by the blaring voice of a muggle radio host rather than Sullivan, half dressed and occasionally naked, sitting on his bed and sometimes Farley in an attempted effort to get his dormmate up on time. “Breakfast,” is all Sullivan says when Farley would crack a resentful eye open.
“Mrgh,” Farley croaks, and Sullivan grins down at him, patting his cheek and grinning harder when Farley sleepily attempts to bite at it.
Sullivan bends down to yell, “BREAKFAST,” right in Farley’s ear, prompting a blanket-laden scuffle as Farley flails and flops onto the floor helplessly and dramatically in a sore huff. The Hufflepuff basement was one of the best places to live, welcoming students with it’s naturally warm yellow and black themed living space. His dormmates were Sullivan Randolf, Henry Wilkins, Nicholas Heartwell, and Lewis Roth—he had met Nicholas on the train to Hogwarts that first year, Sullivan and Lewis had become friends by the morning, and Farley liked to pretend he didn’t know Henry whenever he spoke to his pet toad.
Although the Sorting Hat attempted to state he would ‘do great things’ in Ravenclaw and Gryffindor; it was the most fun Farley had ever had.
- - They started eating together after becoming friends sometime after second year began, mostly because they knew each other through classes but eventually began talking and bickering with one another. There’s a Ravenclaw table where Wynn sits next to Skylar sometimes and Farley sleeps into his own arms while Bambi Murdock munches on dry toast during days that they all know would stretch too long. Some students would blanch at the presence of the Hufflepuff’s, while others rolled their eyes fondly and asked about the assignment in Professor Flitwick’s class and how the essay was coming along [most times it wasn’t in the cases of Wynn and Farley]. There’s a Hufflepuff table where Skylar wedges between Nicholas and Wynn, throwing bacon strips at Farley like it would get him to stop mimicking Snape and laughing into Murdock’s shoulder while eating the same breakfast and bemoaning different issues; the others would roll their eyes and teachers would shoot amused glances their way.
It was a Hufflepuff day, or that was what Farley decided—being the first one to the Great Hall with Nicholas somewhere behind (he threw a pillow at the guy and threatened to put Henry’s toad on his chest if he didn’t wake up) plopping himself at his house table casually. Pouring himself a goblet of pumpkin juice, he considered choking on it before his Ancient Runes exam this morning and remembering that they had Apparition lessons that evening. An owl dropped off the Daily Prophet, reminding the population of the seven-year anniversary of You-Know-Who’s defeat by the infamous Harry Potter on Halloween night. Farley hummed as he read, briefly flickering his eyes up as students passed into his peripheral vision.

Bambi Murdock Three weeks since last full moon, six days until the next
________________________________________________________
A good night’s sleep wasn’t everything, but it sure as hell helped. Ugly, ungraceful, and tangled in her sheets, Murdock was no sleeping beauty. A mess of long sinewy limbs sticking out of her bed at all angles, face down in her pillow, snoring lightly and drooling on her own cheek. She was more composed in the waking world, but her body was joyous, absolutely jubilant to get good rest, so who cared how gross she appeared? Very little of her skin was visible, her pyjamas were full length and the back of her head was a hairy black bird’s nest that had not been brushed in some time. Her hands, the back of her neck, and her feet were all that could be seen, her fingers twitched occasionally as she dreamt of not unpleasant things. The bed was warm and soft, the whole room was. Dark blues and bronze trimmings over ornate beds, long curtains drawn over tall arched windows and thick rugs with a rich tread. There were worse places to spend the night.
When it was time to go, she raised her head, bleary eyed with a bad taste in her mouth, and stared at the headboard of her bed for a few long moments. Five more minutes. What she wouldn’t give for five more minutes.
The other girl rose themselves, looking not much better than Murdock herself, but quickly set about getting ready for the day. Murdock sat up in bed, legs crossed, blinking sleep away and wincing as the curtains got thrown open. She dragged a hand through her short hair, noticed it had become stuck, and simply accepted her fate. With her free hand, she wiped spit from her face and rubbed the inner corner of each eye, a huge yawn cracking open her jaw. A sharp prod in her shoulder was followed by a, not irate but unsurprised, command, “Come on. Get up.” Lauren Turner knew damn well that unless she was properly roused, Murdock would not be seen in class that day. Holding up her hands defensively (having to tug one of them off of her scalp) the tall girl nodded, “Yeah, yeah. I’m up, I’m up.”
- - The first years were getting smaller with each passing year. They skidded about under her feet like rabbits, occasionally bumping into the scarecrow of a girl, muttering a quick but embarrassed apology, before wheeling off again. Her memory wasn’t perfect, but she was pretty sure she’d never ran about like that when she was in first year. Probably because magic was new and exciting and she wanted to stop and stare at everything, but still. There was no need to be running in the morning.
The warmth and noise of the Great Hall used to knock her off her feet, but she took it in her long stride these days, skirting the edge of one of the great wooden doors and making a bee-line for her table. She was late, but water was wet. The world spun on. Truthfully, she didn’t mind being a bit late. Owls freaked her out and the less she saw of them the better, even when they were just delivering the news. A group of second year boys had stopped the middle of the room to have what looked to be a very earnest conversation and they were causing a tremendous queue. Eager to avoid it, Murdock slipped into the end of the Ravenclaw bleacher, stretching her arm out for toast before she’d even touched the seat.
With her back to the window and a whole heel of bread inside her mouth in one go, Murdock scanned the room quickly, pulling out familiar faces and backs of heads. Looks like Farley was at his own table, for once. That boy needed a green tie, not a yellow one, seeing how time he spent at the blue table. She made eye contact with him and sent a small two fingered salute his way, ‘good morning’ for cool people. She wasn’t complaining about how often Farley sat with the Ravenclaws. He was a good guy, and an old friend. And hey, muggleborns had to stick together, right? So why bother being scared of table divisions? If anything, he livened up breakfast a bit, when everyone else was virtually still asleep. She wasn’t so bad herself today. Best to make the most of the good mood, she considered, before grabbing more toast and firing it into her. _____________________________________________________
