Zeke looked back up as Roma handed him a plate of pancakes and fruits on top. He gave her a wry grin, his one eye catching the sun throughout the windows, glinting as he said, "See? Cares too much for my diet, I find this quite worrisome." Sucking at one of his k-nines, his smile vanished as he shook his head in mock judgment, moving with his cup of coffee and plate of breakfast to the large table, giving a small glance of his eye towards the new-comer, Devessa, before sitting down to start eating. Taking a bite of pancake with a blueberry attached, Zeke said as he swallowed and not looking there way in particular, "Don't you think you should get yourself a plate, Roma? We have a big night ahead of us, best to join us in this bountiful feast beforehand." He was attempting to be kind this morning, earnestly, whether it just be inviting the female gamma to her own breakfast.
----
When the young male wolf said such things too her, very sweet yes, but almost a very huge tease to her, Maria couldn't help but allow her cheeks to turn a rosy red as she covered her mouth to hide the shy laugh. Thirty-one she may be, but no woman is immune to such, honest compliment? She at least hoped so, being that it was young, attractive and somewhat boyish Nicolai. Trying to swallow her own too girlish giggles, Maria couldn't help but slap his knee in a playful manner, a small, goofy smile stuck on her plump lips. "Nicolai, you should only say such things if you mean them, not to play with such an old wolf's heart,"she said, voice light, a coy glint in her hazel eyes as she made eye contact. "You're too sweet sometimes, you know this?"she added, a tone of honest gratitude for his words. Maria was getting to the point in her life where outward appearances didn't really matter to her, especially when it came to her own self, which is the reason she's able to be around the others still in her sleeping attire of boxers and a loose tank-top, messy un-brushed hair, and not feel too much embarrassment. "Mm, I guess I should agree with you there, my coat does seem to get a bit heavy with it rain and chilling dew,"she said, almost a mumble, lips again in a thoughtful pout, the redness in her face only a faint blush now. The thought of no wonderful pancakes again almost made the plump woman turn the sides of her lips down, but listening to Nicolai continue, her ever pleasant smile appeared again as she looked his way once more. "I think I'd like that a lot, I can never miss the opportunity to enjoy the musk of morning-after rain, so I believe waking up so early won't be too painful." She looked down at herself, and in the end tutted at her own appearance, and said with her blush returning, "But I promise I'll wear appropriate clothing and appear much more well groomed, unlike this morning." "I promise nothing for looking like a fetching young dame though at such early hours,"she said with a teasing tone and mischievous smirk.

L i e f a n d M o r n i n g { EPSILON / DELTA } 》Epsilon House
Morning finished his breakfast quickly, eating his eggs between his pancakes like a sandwich much to Lief's distaste, and they started talking about the hunt that was supposed to go on later that night. Morning was trying to talk Lief out of sticking to the back of the pack, but Lief didn't want to hear it. He knew he was smaller and slightly weaker that the other wolves and figured he'd just get in the way. Morning argued that Lief was one of the elder wolves, so almost no one would say anything if he did get in the way - which Morning was sure wouldn't happen anyway. Not only that, but Lief was always in the back of the pack and it irked Morning that Lief thought he wasn't good enough to be where he should be.
Lief sucked his teeth and turned away, pushing his eggs around his almost full plate before lifting a single cluster to his mouth. He had finished his toast and half of one pancake and was now working on his little bit of eggs. He was small. Why couldn't Morning understand that when he shifted, he was sometimes smaller than pups and accidentally treated like one. It was embarrassing and infuriating, but most of all it was taxing. He just didn't want to deal with young wolves snapping at him as they tried to find their place amongst themselves. He was pulled out of his thoughts by his brother's cheery voice and nudging fingers.
"Riley Godfrey!" Riley?! Lief's head snapped up and he saw the man standing before them. He was sure the man had appeared out of thin air, but knew that was impossible. He felt his cheeks heat up slightly and he turned away to try and inconspicuously fix his messy bed head. When he inhaled, he smelled not only Riley's shampoo and body wash, but also the smell of the forest under that. Lief knew he probably smelled like soggy leaves and wet dog - he had fallen into a creek the night before - and silently cursed himself for refusing to shower before falling asleep. "I haven't seen you since, like, yesterday morning!" Morning was still talking and Lief wanted to tune him out, but balked to himself when his brother invited Riley to sit with them. As if to prove what he had heard hadn't been his imagination, Morning's warmth moved away and was replaced by the probably-way-too-hot body of Riley sitting next to him. He schootched to give the other man enough room, though continued to stare at his plate of food, face flaming a bit more.
"I apologize for my brother's silence." Morning said, sending an inquisitive look toward the smallest member of the group, "It's entirely possible that he fell asleep sitting there - he's done it before." Turning his eyes back to Riley, Morning gave one of his dazzling smiles, "What have you been up to?" He listened and relaxed back onto the arm of the couch, at ease as he let his food digest and to listen to what Riley replied with.
"You're going to be at the front of the pack, right?" Morning asked, as if the thought had only just occured to him, "Wow, that's big. Would you say the hunt is more fun from the front or the dark abyss of the back? I know someone who stays in the back because he thinks it's better, but..." He gave an exaggerated look of confusion, "Maybe you could talk to him? He might listen to you more than he listens to me." He pointed to Lief, who had not moved an inch since the beginning of the conversation. Morning knew he was paying attention to the conversation because he was pushing his scrambled eggs around his plate and had hunched over more when the Full Moon Hunt had been brought up. "I actually am going to go try to hide in the kitchen from your brother." He admitted with a wicked smile, "I messed with the herbs again." Standing and stretching, he gathered his dishes and waved as he disappeared into the crowd.
Lief started cutting his pancakes, trying to get out of a conversation that probably wouldn't go his way. He didn't know why he got so flustered over Riley - maybe he was allergic to his soap - and he didn't know how to get over it. Maybe he would just have to avoid the other wolf for the rest of his life - something he didn't actually want to do. Lief glanced up at Riley and immediately regretted it. There was a curl of hair stuck on the other man's lashes and he didn't seem to realize it. Lief wanted to free it, but kept his hands down with sheer force of will. He blinked, realizing something had been said but unable to recall exactly what it was.
Lief flushed with embarrassment, "I... I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." He dropped his gaze again.

O l i v e r { BETA } 》Epsilon House
Oliver followed Devessa through the house with a chuckle, close enough to touch but not quite touching, "I suppose my brain puts my stomach over my muscles." He joked and sat next to her, pulling her booted feet up over his lap. It was a beautiful day, though he could hear his packmates talking about rain. He hated rain. Really, he hated all things wet and cold. His wolf hated them moreso, though. "How is your breakfast? Not too hot, I hope?"

{ i is back! i had a creepy er doctor that looked like a psycho killer ;-; }
|| dev || to: oliver || Devessa shifted herself comfortably and looked at her mate with a smile. "It's just perfectly warm," she mumbled through her food. Once she was half way finished she ran a hand through her hand and took a sip from her water. Her green eyes were trying to focus everywhere at once but found herself staring down at her own nose. It was her nose ring, it was slightly off and it was bugging her. So with one pale finger she moved it so it looked evenly normal before continuing with her food.

frankie winters -- epsilon house
Frankie stifled a yawn, putting his plate down on the kitchen table and obliging Roma by siting down. He gestured to his plate, taking a spoonful of berries for himself. "Zeke is right, even saints need to eat, Roma." He shoved his own plate towards her, dark eyes meeting her liquid gold irises with a smoldering intensity. "While I know your pancakes are delightful, I'm really not hungry." He shoveled the spoon he'd grabbed of berries and swallowed quickly, washing them down with coffee quickly. Worry was the tight rock that filled his stomach, he'd be starving when he returned from the Hunt, not before. So many things could go wrong and he knew was being too paranoid, but even though he was almost certain everything would be okay, he couldn't get rid of the awful feeling he had in his stomach.
His eyes turned towards the window above the kitchen table and the sun slanted down onto the table and warmed his face. He sipped his coffee, hoping the caffeine would take away the headache building at the back of his neck and at his temples, but he knew it wouldn't. But he could still hope and wish. He scratched at the scar on the edge of his cheek and tugged at the gauze around his hand, all ticks that betrayed his nerves and lack of excitement. If he was being honest, Frankie would be happy when the Full Moon Hunt was over and done with.
riley godfrey -- epsilon house
Being among his pack mates was perhaps the only thing that made him feel a bit more relaxed. Morning was probably the friendliest Delta and Riley often wished he could spend more time with the Deltas. They made him feel at home, and Remy was perhaps the only person to truly understand and know him. It almost felt like sometimes, Remy could see right through him. If they let him, he'd probably curl up on their cots every night and stay among the sweet herbs and fresh scents. But, with securing borders for the Full Moon Hunt, he hadn't been able to visit and keep them company. Frankie had him all over creation, making sure everything went off smoothly without a hitch.
While Riley liked Morning, and enjoyed the flashes of dazzling smiles, he wasn't fooled. Remy had told him Morning wasn't interested in anything, and he wasn't allowed, even if he was interested. Riley's gray-green eyes slid over to Lief, who was just pushing food around his plate and seemed increasingly uncomfortable. He could almost feel the heat of the little King's face rolling onto him and his heartbeat was racing, even Riley could hear it without trying with his wolf senses. Riley couldn't see the other man's face, but he could tell it was probably red. But why? He just pushed the thought away and took a seat between the two brothers and dug into the heaping pile of pancakes and bacon and blueberries stacked on his plate.
He glanced over to Lief and opened his mouth to say something, but decided against it, biting into the inside of his cheek. For a wolf, he was so tiny, especially in wolf form he was nearly a pup. Riley was over a foot taller than him, and since the couch wasn't huge, his knees knocked against Lief's and Morning's. He shoved a mouthful of all three things on his plate into his mouth and paused before explaining his duties of securing borders and doing double the normal patrols he did and chattering on about it as normal people did.
When the Full Moon Hunt itself was brought up, Riley's eyes lit up with excitement. "Oh, I'm not sure yet. Two Gammas remain up with Frankie while two make sure no one lags behind in the back. I might be up front or I might be in the back," He'd puffed his chest out a little, pride creeping into his voice. It was times like these the exhaustion of being Frankie's Gamma was all worth it. He smirked. "I'll make sure to keep Remy out of your way, he'll definitely be on the warpath if you even so much as think about his herbs." Riley chuckled as Morning waved and left just the two of them. Riley shifted to where Morning had sat on one end of the couch and curled up on the warm couch and rested his head back against the edge of the couch, cheek against the soft blanket over top of it, all he wanted to do was curl up and sleep with someone warm and soft, but he still had work to do. He carefully placed his empty plates on the coffee table in front of him and sighed as he relaxed back, listening to the conversations around him.
"You know, I always think what makes you the most comfortable is what makes the Full Moon Hunt the most enjoyable." Riley said suddenly, looking up and finding Lief, for once, looking back with his big eyes. Riley felt warmth creep up his cheeks and his normal tendency towards shyness making him look down at his hands which were laced together in his lap.
"I'm sorry, I didn't hear you." Lief murmured and Riley looked up, absently licking his lips. Lief wasn't looking at him again and he sighed softly. "Ah, I just, your brother said something about you liking to be in the back on Full Moon Hunts, and if that's what makes you the most comfortable and enjoyable then I'd do that. I mean, there is nothing wrong with stepping out of your comfort zone, but on a special night it isn't always necessary, I guess." He shrugged. "Morning seems to think you'll listen to me, but what do I know?" He chuckled, leaning back and closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. Lief smelled distinctly like the forest, like the river, like water and trees and the sweetness of a few bites of pancakes.
addie mercer -- epsilon house
Faint lashes began to brush against Addie's cheeks as her lids began to close again. She nodded and mumbled something to Calla, not quite listening to her words, just the soft lilt of her voice. But her eyes snapped open when a plush little wolf landed on her chest and squeaked, almost in protest to being thrown around. "Hey, be nice to him." Addie muttered, tugging gently and fondly at the little triangular ears poking up from the white cuddle toy, her thumb brushing over one of the blue eyes. She was distracted by her little guy and didn't notice the bed dip beneath Calla until they were flush together, shoulder-to-hip as the center of the mattress collapsed in and they were pressed together.
"You're terrible," Addie said without venom and looked up at the wolf on her head. She reached up and grabbed him, smushing him against Calla's face and squeaking him against her nose. "I don't know why I put up with you," She chuckled with a grin, shoving Calla off the bed, sitting up and stretching, the wolf left on her pillow. She leaned over the other side of the bed for a pair of shorts and slipped them on before finally rising from bed. The sunlight slanted down onto her, warming her skin as she stretched long and luxuriously, listening to the familiar pop and crack of her own body. Her muscles twisted and she relaxed, shaking out her shoulders and neck. Her flame hair spread over her shoulders and around her face. "Save me some bacon, please! If you go down before me!" She said, grabbing her toothbrush off of her dresser and scampering out of the room to wash the fuzzy feeling out of her mouth. When she returned a moment later she was surprised to find Calla still in her room and she slid on a sweatshirt, before walking over to her friend and swiping the snapback off of her head and pulling it over her messy bedhead.

Calla Lafayette // Epsilon House
Calla’s green gaze nonchalantly roamed over her buddy’s face as she played with the wolf. She then let out a laugh at the comment, only to squeal seconds later when the stuffed animal was smashed against her face. Addie then forcefully shoved her off the bed, the blonde rolling off with a thud when she hit the ground. ”Ow!” She exclaimed, although there was no real complaint in her voice. Actually, she much liked being pushed around by Adelaide, both figuratively and literally. ”You put up with me…” She poked her head up from the side of the bed, looking up at the red-head. ”… because I’m awesome.” Calla snickered in response as she wiggled her eyebrows, but inside she was flustered for she nearly said because you love me. Biting the inside of her cheek, she staggered off the carpet, brushing off a few small pieces of lint that stuck to her ripped jeans. She let out a few huffs of breath, trying to brush away a few strands of hair that fell over her eyes. When her eyes fell upon Addie once more, she blushed when she noticed the girl slipping on a pair of shorts, and she quickly cast her eyes away before she was caught. Way to be a creep, Calla. She scolded herself with a scowl of frustration. Her mind wandered off in those few seconds and she nearly didn’t hear the words spoken to her, but seconds later, footsteps were heard leaving the room.
Calla didn’t leave. Instead, she just subconsciously paced around the room in thought, her gaze flickering from one little knick-knack to the next. Though she heard Addie return, it startled her when her snapback was snatched off her. Whipping around with wide eyes, she raised an eyebrow when Adelaide put it on her own head. And okay, Calla wasn’t going to lie. The red-head looked hawt. ”You look pretty damn good in that, princess.” She absentmindedly said softly, her thoughts not meaning to be let out into the world, but it was too late to take it back now, so she just went with it. Well, damn. Her heart skipped a beat and she just smirked seconds later. ”Maybe I should take you snapback shopping.” There was a flirtatious gleaming in those green eyes, which wasn’t uncommon for those two. Calla took a step forward until they were only a few feet apart, and perhaps to a stranger it looked like she would kiss Addie. Perhaps she would’ve, perhaps she wanted to, but she didn’t. Instead, she just grinned and used one finger to pull the bill of the cap down so that it covered the red-head’s eyes. [ these little flirts, I swear xD ]
”Now, let’s go!” Calla then snapped her fingers together. She decided to let Addie keep the hat for now, reaching down and grabbing one of her hands. With a laugh, she dragged the other girl out of the room, the two basically jogging down the hallway toward the stairs, where the sound of chatter filled their ears and the smell of food continuously hit their noses.
