((I hate making decisions but alright. XD))
After helping Lichenpaw bring herbs back to camp, Wolffang excused himself. He padded across the camp in search of a place to relax, but it was difficult to find somewhere empty, and not occupied by another Clan's warrior.
Finally, he settled on crossing the camp and coming to a stop next to Bluefrost. "Busy day?" He asked as he sat down near the other tom and started to try and groom the scent of herbs from his pelt.

((It's cool. XD))
Wolffang wasn't sure that he believed that Bluefrost has been running around all day, but he also didn't really care one way or another. "I was helping Lichenpaw gather herbs. They were low on... everything." It hadn't been the best way to spend the day, but Wolffang knew how important all of the herbs were for the sick cats. He had been lucky and hadn't suffered much other than a bad cough that was already letting it up. "I wonder how long Yellowstar is going to let the other Clans keep living here..." Wolffang as typically a gentle soul that loved to help others, but he was also sick of being hungry and knowing that when he was hunting, he wasn't just hunting for his Clan.

cat's name: Bluepond | gender; She-cat | age: 13 moons | status: Young warrior (In-apprenticed Last moon) | sexuality: (Confused?!?!?? I'm going to think of this as homo/hetro) Hetro/Straight brief description of appearance and personality: Bluepond is a pretty blue-gray she-cat with pale blue eyes. She is confident, agile, sweet and polite screenname: Miststrike I would like her storyline to go something like this: Bluepond meets tom. Bluepond and tom fall in love. Bluepond is preggers. Tom is secretly scared for her. Bluepond gets smoke inhalation and becomes extremely sick. Bluepond kits. (INSERT SILVERSTREAM'S DEATH HERE) :(. Tom is sad, and takes up his job as guardian of the kits. I would probably keep 1 or 2 of the kits and give the others away to other people to rp » Hey! I'm glad to see another person interested in the RP. I just have a few nitpicks about your joining form.
The plot you have in mind for your character is interesting, and I bet it would be fun to RP, but I think it'd be more appropriate if you started off where this drama ends: with the kits motherless and alone with a protective father. I'm not sure if you wanted to RP the falling in love and the expecting kits thing etc etc, but if you were then I suppose doing such would probably lose its interest after a while (since it's entirely premeditated and you know what's going to happen).
So if you'd like, you can create joining forms for the father and kits and start from there? Perhaps the father refuses to let anyone near his kits because he's emotionally charged and irrational, which may cause problems for the medicine cats (as if they don't already have enough problems xD). Or maybe he allows a queen to step-in as caretaker for the kits (since they need milk to survive) and he begins to develop feelings for the queen. The possibilities are endless ^-^ Just suggestions though. It'd be nice to just sling your characters right into the action and see where the storyline takes them as I like to do.
Another thing is, if you do decide to join with Bluepond, she needs to be sorted into a clan. If you want her to die of smoke inhalation, then ShadowClan would be the most fitting since the fire struck them the hardest (besides ThunderClan). However... you can ask anyone, I've been weird about ShadowClan queens recently xD They seem so darn popular! So I would recommend WindClan to avoid repetition. «

Flamerose had finished her mouse, but the deputy didn't move right away. She remained in her quiet little corner, looking out at all of the warriors from different Clans. She couldn't wait to escape from this camp and go explore the destroyed territories and check on the Moonpool. At least then it would feel as if she was doing something, as if she was helping the Clans, but mainly helping her own.
Finally, she stood up and looked towards Nighttail. The ShadowClan deputy seemed so pitiful and sad now. Telling him about what was happening... it didn't even seem like there was a point anymore, but she padded over to him all the same. "Nighttail, I need to speak with you." She said as she paused just in front of him.

» I thought she was a tom kit too aaah my bad «
Nighttail's amber gaze shifted to Flamerose as the she-cat approached. He almost let out a growl, a similar noise he'd made earlier when Thistleflower had approached him, but stopped himself. He silently waited for her to near him, not really anticipating being forced to socialize when there was sleep to catch up on. Not that I can sleep anyway, the tom thought bitterly.
"Yes?" the tom mewed, perking his ears and gazing at her expectantly. What was there to say? That she was sorry for his loss? Nighttail swallowed back bitter thoughts as he awaited her response, reminding himself that the he was the ShadowClan deputy, and that Flamerose was probably just speaking to him on official clan business.
--
Lilypaw murmured softly in her sleep and fluttered her eyes open, stirring ever so slightly at the faintest sound of Mossheart entering the den. She let out a yawn and wiggled her nose as she gazed blankly around the den, trying to pinpoint what had awaken her through sleepy eyes. "Mossheart?" the she-cat purred, glancing up to gaze at the senior warrior. Her eyes lingered on the she-cat for some time, not quite registering what was going on before a sudden squeak escaped her muzzle and she jumped slightly in the nest. "Mossheart! Oh I-I er.." She fluffed out her fur, feeling warm with embarrassment. How long had she been asleep? "I-I wasn't asleep for long, I was watching him and..."
Her eyes finally readjusted in the dim light and widened to their full size as she took note of the change in Mossheart's fur. "Are you... wet?"
--
"Of course," Yellowstar meowed. He flicked his tail dismissively and moved his gaze away from Morningflight, as if her question was completely dull-witted and redundant. He wasn't going to stop the queen from seeing off her own kit, and quite frankly, he wasn't in the mood to argue regardless. The gesture could almost be seen as rude, but the old tom was only tired and stressed from the recent events occurring in his life. "We'll bury her after the clan meeting," the tom spoke to Flurryfoot, shifting his gaze up to meet her eyes. "So eat up quick - you don't want to miss the announcement."
The large tom turned slowly and exited the den, swishing his fluffy tail lightly in his wake as he approached the middle of the camp. He stopped and looked around, watching the cats around him interact and feast on their freshly caught prey. This is what it'll be like, the tom thought to himself. He would usually feel a bit anxious about calling a clan meeting for what he wanted to say, as he valued his clanmate's opinions. But now he felt a an eerie sense of calm that couldn't be squashed if he wanted it to; not unless another one of his kits were to suddenly pass. He sighed softly and cleared his throat, fixing his golden glare up to the smoky sky as he yowled the ancient summons to StarClan, "May all cats old enough to swim gather to hear my words!"

lamerose was about to reply and explain to Nighttail what Nov had seen and what she planned to do in the morning, but Yellowstar's summon distracted her. She flicked her gaze to the tom, grumbling something under her breath. "I'll tell you after this... meeting." It sickened her to be at a meeting led by a leader that wasn't hers.
Plus, what did he have planned? Flamerose had a feeling that whatever it was, Nighttail and her would not be pleased with it. She settled down next to Nighttail, despite how much she disliked the tom.

Dissatisfaction lit Nighttail's expression as the clan meeting was called for. He didn't know why the RiverClan leader was deciding to call a meeting at this hour, but something told him it was going to be interesting. He glanced sideways as Flamerose as she settled down next to him, hesitating for a moment before the tom sat down with her. He watched as cats stirred from their comfortable positions and began to move closer, surprised by how slow they were moving. When Smokestar called for meetings, cats would come running the tom thought.
"Was it important?" Nighttail murmured to Flamerose as cats continued to pour from the dens. It seemed like it would take a moment for every cat to gather.

Flamerose glanced at Nighttail. "Twolegs." She whispered back. "So, yeah, it's important." She was surprised to hear that he was even curious about what it was. Perhaps he was finally coming out of his depressed state and was ready to lead his Clan once again? She hoped so -- ShadowClan needed a leader.
--
Wolffang's ears pricked up when he heard Yellowstar's call. "Maybe he's kicking out the other Clans." He suggested in a low murmur as he walked after Bluefrost, eager to see what their leader had to say.

Flurryfoot nodded rapidly at Morningflight; she had recalled the Windclan warrior with the shy little tom-kit lightly. While Mossheart didn't strike her as a particularly motherly cat, it seemed she had managed to summon something up for Whorlkit and make it work. "I'll be sure to ask her; she seems like a reasonable cat who would gladly accept," the gray calico purred, blinking happily at the request. She glanced at her leader apprehensively as he dismissed the two cats fairly quickly to return to the camp. Yellowstar seemed to be very ready to call for a meeting and the medicine cat couldn't help but wonder how the other clan cats would react to Yellowstar's demands. Her mind flickered briefly to Flamerose, knowing that the prideful she-cat would likely be a little perturbed by attending another leader's clan meeting. It seemed funny in her head, but in the back of her mind, she knew that this would be a driving force of conflict between the remaining cats.
Slowly, the medicine cat trotted over to the fish that Yellowstar had brought in and looked at Morningflight for her to join in. The queen however, followed Yellowstar at a distance out of the medicine den and Flurryfoot couldn't help but sigh a little. Flurryfoot picked herself up from the fish and went to the kit's nest to nose some of the moss and feathers around and over the mewling kits, keeping them insulated while they waited for their mother to return. This was probably excessive, she knew, but she felt the pitiful things deserved to be as warm as possible. By Starclan, if Flurryfoot didn't have to attend the meeting and the burial, the medicine cat would have volunteered herself to watch the kits for Morningflight!
She dragged the fish closer to the kits with an extended paw and began to feast, relishing the soft, flaky texture of the fish, filled with the rich flavor of the river. Her first real meal in three days: one she was able to actively lie down and enjoy. She wrapped her tail dutifully around the kits and managed a little sigh to herself. Flurryfoot knew that she enjoyed kits more than she ever should as a medicine cat; it was a dream that managed to hang within her mind and haunted her like a nightmare.
Finishing the fish, the calico felt fuller than she had in moons and let out a small purr despite herself. At that point, she heard the leader yowl for the meeting with his usual roar of a voice, and she unwound her tail from the squealing young, standing to her paws. Flurryfoot padded out to the camp and strode into the middle of a Riverclan crowd, her eyes focused sharply on Yellowstar's commanding figure.
----
Mossheart was not upset that she had found Lilypaw sleeping while watching Whorlkit; she was quite the opposite, in fact, thrilled that the small kit seemed to be exhausted by something other than his coughing and trauma. She snorted a little at the apprentice's jumpy reaction to Mossheart's presence and her scattered thoughts spilled out of tired jaws. She regained her thoughts, it seemed, as the apprentice incredulously focused on the Windclanner's thin pelt having been soaked through. It was Mossheart's turn to be wildly embarrassed, as her ears burned. She looked to the side, unwilling to meet the Riverclanner's gaze. "Oh! Well... I tried fishing on the patrol with Mistyheart and Beesplash... I caught a fish!" Mossheart mewed with kit-like excitement, before sheepishly lowering her head a little more, "But I went swimming to get it. They're slippery little things..."
Whorlkit had awoken at the movement of his playmate and the mossball slipped out from between his paws. He lazily scooted off of Lilypaw and greeted Mossheart with a welcoming smile. He spoke no words, as he slowly sunk back to the ground in sleep. He was probably out for the night and Mossheart snorted at him. She regained her previous demeanor and locked eyes with Lilypaw, "Don't worry about napping, really; I trust that you watched him. Granted, he seems to be barely alive; what did you do to him?" she asked playfully, her teeth flashing in a small grin. She felt her stomach unknot itself for the first time in awhile as she breathed a quiet sigh to Lilypaw, "I think this has been a good day for him. Maybe... maybe it's a step towards something normal."
A yowl from Yellowstar caused Mossheart's fur to bristle a little, standing a little spikier than normal as She nodded to Lilypaw and gestured to the entrance of the nursery. "You go ahead and catch the gathering; I'll stay here with this tired rabbit-brain. He did say 'all cats old enough to swim' and I think I proved that I will never be old enough," she joked lightly, blinking cheerfully at the apprentice. "I'll listen close to the nursery. And.. thank you, Lilypaw... for keeping Whorlkit company; it meant a lot to me," she half whispered, resting her eyes on the small tom kit and moving closer to wrap her tail around him softly.

» i probably made a lot of errors ;;; i rewrote this twice and decided to split it into two parts for reactions aha «
Lilypaw's eyes lit up despite herself. It wasn't her place to feel pride over an older warrior's accomplishment, seeing as how ridiculous it was coming from an apprentice with little ties to the she-cat, but she couldn't help but purr. "You caught a fish?" The part where the she-cat fell in seemed to have completely flew over her head. "I wish I would have been here. I bet it amazing."
She glanced down at Whorlkit as the little tom shifted next to her. She watched him curl back up a few moments later and purred in amusement. "We played for almost the entire day," she spoke, slowly pulling her eyes away from the sleeping kit to meet the WindClan she-cat's gaze. "We had a lot of fun. I can't believe you don't play Mossball in WindClan." She purred once more, grooming her forepaw and swiping it over her ear. "He was really good at it... once he changed the rules a little."
Yellowstar's summons startled the she-cat. She fluffed up her fur and looked to the entrance in confusion, wondering what her leader could possibly wish to share with everyone. "Are you sure?" Lilypaw asked her, slowly rising from the nest. She shook bits of moss out of her pelt and allowed her fur to lie flat. "It's never too late to learn. I mean, I could always show you." She found herself gazing a little too intently into Mossheart's eyes and quickly looked away, her cheeks growing warm. She'd taken a keen interest in the WindClan warrior and the kit since the fire, but had never noticed how pretty Mossheart's eyes were throughout her intensive watching. Being in her presence suddenly made her feel uncomfortable, and the small she-cat shuffled her paws on the ground as she stared sheepishly at the entrance. "It was n-no problem," she reassured her, surprised by her gratitude. She walked to the entrance awkwardly as if her paws were covered in mud, "I'll tell you everything that happens."
She quickly ducked out of the den and found a seat behind Wolffang and Bluefrost. 'I could always show you?' What am I, a fish-brain? she scolded herself, hot with embarrassment. She was too caught up in her own thoughts to notice that Yellowstar's golden glare was burning into her pelt. When she finally looked up from the ground, she locked eyes with the massive tom and saw that he was beckoning her closer with his tail.
Confused, Lilypaw stepped forward, nodding to the warriors she was near in turn before settling just a fox-length away from Yellowstar. Had she done something wrong?
"Cats of the lake," the massive golden tom began, his chin raised high as he addressed the many felines surrounding him. "It has been three days since the tragedy that took out the forest territories where many of you once thrived. The fire stole the lives of many innocent cats, and showed no mercy when it destroyed our once thriving neighbors: ThunderClan."
Nov could feel the tension in the air as Yellowstar spoke of ThunderClan's demise. He hadn't known there was another clan. He couldn't believe his ears... an entire civilization of cats destroyed by the fire. "ThunderClan?" the tom whispered lowly, glancing sideways at Morningflight as he leaned towards her. "I thought all the clans made it here safely." Minus the cats who died of course, but Nov didn't voice that part out loud.
Yellowstar continued, raking his gaze over the crowd before looking up at the sky. "I send a prayer to StarClan in hopes that ThunderClan are safe and thriving, in a new territory with abundant prey. And I send a prayer out to the cats who were not able to survive this tragedy. May they watch over ThunderClan and keep them safe from any more harm." He fell silent as images of cats flashed through his mind; elders from gatherings, warriors from the borders, kits and apprentices, Deerstar, Rabbitstar, Smokestar. He closed his eyes in remembrance of them all, promising to never forget.
"It has been hard on every cat, I know. We've all lost loved ones and friends we can never forget. But we are survivors, and we must live on in their honor." He opened his eyes and fixed them on Lilypaw. "We need more warriors than ever to help us on this quest. You have proven through your perseverance and loyalty, Lilypaw, that you are worthy of your warrior name."
The small she-cat nearly fainted. Yellowstar beckoned her forward, and the tabby and white feline rose to wobbly paws and slinked her way over to her leader. "I call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. She has worked hard to abide by the warrior code and care for her clan, and I commend her to you as a warrior in turn."
Nighttail watched the ceremony continue on through suspicious eyes. "Two-legs?" the tom muttered, mostly to himself. Two-legs never showed up in the forest during late leaf-fall. What was all this mambo-jumbo about? He didn't press Flamerose for more information just yet, instead watching Yellowstar with mild interest. "He woke the sick cats up for a warrior's ceremony? Couldn't this have waited 'til tomorrow?"

Flamerose was just as annoyed as Nighttail. "We all have to sit here through a warrior ceremony?" She hissed under her breath. This wasn't at all important. Rolling her eyes, Flamerose looked back towards Nighttail. "I know. I heard about them from Nov. I'm leaving to investigate in the morning, and also check on the Moonpool."

» Oooo I gotta check that out soon. «
"You're going to the forest?" Nighttail asked, turning his head to face her. Now she had his attention. He didn't think the WindClan she-cat going to investigate the forest would be a good idea without an accomplice, seeing as she wasn't familiar with the territory. He pondered it for a moment, wondering if the journey would be worth anything if she didn't know what to look for.
"I'll go with you," he stated a little louder. He felt something sharp prod his flank and turned his head to see an elder shoving him with extended claws and hissing for him to be quiet. He grumbled in response, turning back to watch the ceremony and murmuring in a lower voice, "If the Moonpool is safe, then we should talk to StarClan together. As leaders." And to see Smokestar the tom thought to himself. He desperately wanted to return to ShadowClan to bury her body. The idea of it lying under some charred tree, crushed and cold made his belly feel sick.
"Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?" Yellowstar boomed.
Lilypaw gazed up at her leader, her eyes sparkling with joy. "I do."
"Then by the powers invested in me by StarClan, I grant you your warrior name. Lilypaw, from this moment on you will be known as Lilyfern. StarClan honors your dedication and kindness and I welcome you as a full member of RiverClan."
Lilyfern purred warmly as he rested his muzzle on her head, and she licked his shoulder respectively. She could hear the chants of her own clanmates booming around her, some faint from sickness or lack of interest, and others loud and energetic, glad to have something good happening for once. She pulled away from her leader and trotted over Bluefrost and Wolffang, beaming at her clanmates as she settled down next to them as one of their own.
Yellowstar watched her move away with a dark glint in his eyes. Little did the young she-cat know that the ceremony had just been a perfectly-timed ruse to soften the blow of what he had to say next. He cleared his throat, raising his chin before any cat had the chance to get up and greet the new warrior. "The clan now grows stronger. And with this, I have a proposition to announce. I have watched Lilyfern work hard to accommodate every cat these past few days. She has worked tirelessly to please and satisfy despite the invisible borders, and I think there is a lesson to learn in that.
"These are very dark times for the Clans. We need one another more than ever if any of us are to survive. A majority of our territory has been destroyed, and cats are too sick to find new lands on their own."
His eyes grazed the expressions of those around them, anticipating their reaction to his next words. He remained silent for some moments, already recognizing the horrified expressions of some of the nearby cats as they caught on early to what he was about to say. "So with all of this in mind, it is with great pleasure that I announce the union of the three clans. We should drop our borders entirely and become one clan, strong and full of warriors skilled in all walks of life to fend off this tragedy together!"

((I had a feeling that's what Yellowstar was going to suggest. >.> The drama.))
Flamerose was surprised that Nighttail wanted to come with. "That would be perfect," she replied, glaring at the elder but otherwise saying nothing. "I could use help and we definitely need to speak to StarClan."
She was worried about what would become of them, and Flamerose knew that both her and Nighttail needed to receive their nine lives. Their Clans couldn't stand to lose the deputies, too, and they needed to start bringing their Clans back together.
Wolffang cheered along with the others and watched as Lilyfern came to sit by him and Bluefrost. "Congratulations. You deserve it," he told her with a purr. More warriors were much needed, and she deserved it more than anyone else.
He looked back up at Yellowstar as the leader continued speaking. He listened in silence as Yellowstar suggested his idea and his eyes widened at the thought. All the Clans... together?
Flamerose's attention turned away from Nighttail when she heard Yellowstar's suggestion. Anger bubbled up inside her, and she was furious. "What is he thinking?" She hissed under her breath, trying to keep her feelings and strong words to herself for the time. She needed to speak to StarClan before doing anything rash. Maybe all the Clans joining together was what they wanted.

Although the she cat had no confirmed feelings for the tom, she could feel her heart twinge everytime she looked at him, every time she spoke to him her heart was beating a million miles an hour and she tried her hardest to try not to stutter around the tom. Her lifted her tail from where it was laying over her paws and she rose to her paws, flicking her tail back and forth as she walked over to the trio. "Congratulations Lilyfern." She mewed respecfully she paused, "Hopefully soon my Ceremony will happen." She added in smiling at the she cat, she quickly glanced at wolffang. Only to catch his gaze, she blushed and turned her head the other direction, her heart pounding and her ears were on fire.

An ear ever perked in the direction of the nursery, Morningflight mostly in passing hoped her kits would be ok. Knowing that she wouldn't be too long, and they would be ok without her for the few moments that she would be away from the nest, and that she would hear should anything go wrong. She settled by her few remaining clanmates, wrapping her long tail around her paws and resting. Though exhaustion still wracked her bones, she was beginning to regain her energy, and very almost looked like her normal self. Her thick golden fur again beginning to shine through the ash which had once coated her pelt.
Despite Lilypaw, or rather Lilyfern as she was now known, not being a member of her own clan. She threw her head back to the sky and yowled the name like she was her own sister. They needed happiness and joy in times like this, and it made her happy to see the young cat earn what she had fought hard to deserve. Her smile was large, as she said the words alongside many strangers. It was a strange feeling, but Morningflight wasn't about to begrudge the new warrior her happiness because she wasn't a clanmate.
The words of her mate, however, quickly stole the smile from her lips.
Jaw dropping from her face so far she feared it may well fall off, she turned her gaze to Yellowstar and didn't break. What is he thinking? She thought, fear breaking trhough her system as she looked around at her own clanmates, judging their reactions as she hadn't a clue how she herself should feel about this. Her ears went flat against her head, shifting uncomfortably from one leg to the other.
