Logan sighed, “Patton, please, please open the door.” He begged, his voice tight with worry. He sounded desperate, and it was an emotion that he hated. It made him sound weak and dumb.

Logan sat there silently.
Virgil looked at Roman with concerned eyes.

Logan didn’t notice at first, but glanced up at the noise. He stood up and opened the door. “Patton?”
Virgil nodded, “Alright.” He intertwined his fingers with Roman’s.
Steven came running out his room. He was a young Thomas, only about ten. He had a huge grin on his face and he was bouncing happily.

Ethan poked his head out the door. He still hadn't noticed the bloodstains on his clothes.
Patton stayed slumped in the corner.
Roman smiled and leaned over toward Virgil for a kiss.

Steven spotted Ethan and grinned. “HI!!!!”
Logan walked over and knelt in front of Patton.
Virgil poked Roman on the nose. He grinned, “Nope.” He stuck his tongue out.

Logan gently put a hand on Patton’s shoulder.

Patton flinched slightly.
Roman huffed and got up.

Roman went to sit down at the table.

Steven let out a relieved sigh. He saw Patton’s open door and ran over. The ten year old waved cheerfully, “HI STRANGERS!”
Logan looked up at Steven with a confused look.
Virgil proceeded to plop onto Roman’s lap with a grin.

Roman fell on the floor for no reason.
Ethan quickly walked toward his brother's room. He hesitated before knocking softly.

Virgil couldn’t stop laughing, tears in his eyes. He buried his face into Roman’s shirt, unable to stop laughing.
Tobias grabbed his brother and pulled him into a trembling hug, the answer was no, he wasn’t okay, but he said nothing of the sort, “Thank gods you’re okay...”

”I am Logan, Thomas’ Logical side.” Logan said.
Virgil pulled away, “I’m sorry.” He had noticed Roman tense, even though it was slight. He looked worried, “What’s wrong?”
Tobias said nothing, not wanting to let go of his brother, ever.

“Are you okay?” He asked, worry evident on his face. Virgil gently pulled Roman to his feet with a frown. He looked up at the slightly taller personality.
Tobias gently pulled away, muttering a “sorry”. He looked at his little brother, running his fingers through his hair. He stared down at the ground with a heavy, sad sigh.
