Have you ever wondered what happens in the tall grass?
What goes on in the forest? What lurks in the water?
What it's all like before the pokeball? Just as any other living creature, Pokemon thrive in all areas of the world. From scorching deserts to frigid ice lands, Pokemon can be found just about anywhere. So far there are seven known regions, each filled with unique types of Pokemon. Each region has specific variations and species of Pokemon waiting to be discovered. With the aid of humans and trainers, Pokemon are able to move from their home region to a new and exciting one. Both trainers and Pokemon alike can be found exploring every inch of the planet in search of new and fascinating discoveries. Where will your journey take you? ((All sprites, gifs, and images are public use or I was given credit by the owner/creator. I do not own or take credit for any sprites, gifs, and or images.))

Of course there are a few rules to read over before you get started, please take careful note of each one.
1. Maximum of six (6) Pokemon per person! I don't want anyone getting overwhelmed.
2. One legendary per person, if you want one that is.
3. If you claim a legendary, you may only have four (4) other Pokemon.
4. For every three (3) fully evolved Pokemon you have, you must have one (1) first stage Pokemon. Let's keep it fair. This does not apply to gym leaders.
5. No illegal moves. Only use moves that you are sure your Pokemon can use. This includes baby and egg moves as well as HMs and TMs.
6. One (1) shiny per person. Shinies are rare for a reason!
7. Please keep gender variations and etc in mind. A male meowstic is different than a female meowstic.
8. One (1) Mega Evolution per person! You may have one (1) Pokemon that can Mega Evolve. If you want that Pokemon to stay in Mega form permanently then you may only have four (4) other Pokemon.
9. Let's keep fights fair. "No misses" and any other variations are not permitted. Please, take advantage of ooc and speak to the person you are fighting/battling. No dodging everything either.
10. ^ Keep super effective and not very effective moves/types in mind! ^
11. No perfect characters or Mary Sues. You need rest, food, and etcetera just like everyone else.
12. If you want to kill off one of your Pokemon in exchange for another or anything like that, let me know.

7. For every three fully evolved Pokemon you give yourself, you must have a first stage. However! If you have three fully evolved Pokemon and you catch another fully evolved, that is fine. Catching and giving yourself Pokemon are two different things. We don't want anyone being too OP is all. Gym leaders don't need a stage one.
8. Use ooc to make sure it is ok to catch someone first!
9. Battle rules from above apply here.
10. One Mega Evolved Pokemon per battle.
11. Ask gym leaders ooc ahead of time if it is ok to challenge them.
12. Follow the site rules.

Your Pokemon And You
There are three types of trainer you may choose from. Depending on which you choose will determine how many and which Pokemon you can have. (Please note these are just titles for form convenience and they do not affect your age or appearance)
Youngster- You start with one starter and or one (1) first stage Pokemon. This leaves you either four (4) or five (5) slots to catch different Pokemon. You may either catch a Pokemon someone RPs (If it's ok with them) or find them in the wild. If you are searching for wild Pokemon, please put HUNTING above your character text. I will respond to you by either saying KEEP SEARCHING or by telling you what Pokemon pops out. Depending on what Pokemon are with you and how many you have different Pokemon will be chosen for you. If you have a preference (Gen 2, Poison type, fully evolved, etc) please state in italics beside HUNTING. These hunting rules apply for everyone with a space available. More info on hunting can be found further below.
Elite- You start with whatever Pokemon you give yourself. Hunting isn't your main goal so much as just roleplaying. All the rules for hunting and Pokemon apply.
Gym Leader- You have anywhere from four (4) to six (6) Pokemon. You may not have legendaries. Because you are a gym leader, all your Pokemon must share one type (Dark, Normal, Fighting, etc). Mega Pokemon are allowed as long as they share the typing and you follow the previously stated rules. You can RP just as everyone else but may be involved in quite a bit of ooc as people may challenge your gym. The point of gyms is that if someone challenges you and wins, you can give them any HM or TM of your choice as long as it relates to your gym in some way. If you do not wish to RP the whole battle since that may take awhile, both you and the challenger can go ahead and say that they either won or lost. Just let me know who won and what HM/TM was given.

Hunting
Hunting Pokemon can be fun and exciting. If you have a space available (According to all previous rules about how many spaces you have depending on which Pokemon you have) you can go hunting. In order to begin hunting, simply put HUNTING before your character text. If you have a preference as stated previously, put it in italics beside HUNTING so I know. I'll reply by either saying KEEP SEARCHING or A wild [Pokemon] appeared! If you get the first, then be sure to put HUNTING before your text again. If you get the second then the catching process will be initiated. What Pokemon appears depends on you and if you had any preference. Catching the Pokemon is quite simple. If you don't like it, just say RUN. If you do, just say CATCH. Chances are that you'll catch it. But if the Pokemon is way out of your range then the Pokemon will probably run away. (Like if you only have a starter and find a Nidoqueen for example.) If you'd like, you can have your Pokemon battle a stronger Pokemon that may run away.

New Mega Evolutions
From here on I will be taking requests and drawing new Mega Evolutions and "Special" forms for legendaries (i.e. Primal groudon)
1. Pokemon must not already have a Mega form.
2. Legendary must not already have a special or Mega form.
3. Must be a fully evolved Pokemon.
4. No relation to other fan-drawn Mega Evolutions.
5. Just because I draw your idea for a Mega Evolution does not mean the art was drawn specifically for you, therefore it is not owned by you.
