Puddleheart didn’t say anything as they walked, though it wasn’t like he could while he had all the herbs in his mouth. However he was listening, and nearly everything Marshclaw had said was surprising him. He couldn’t help but be a little tentative about it all, as well. He knew what his brother was capable of, he knew all too well just how far Marshclaw could go.
However...didn’t everyone deserve that second chance? Marshclaw had what he wanted now, he was deputy, and a well respected one among the clan. He could very well want to mend things now, it seemed plausible to Puddleheart. Especially when he considered how much better it would be if he could once again feel like he and Marshclaw were on the same side.
Finally, once he found a good place to drop the herbs, he spat them out, pushing some dirt over them to cover them up. “Marshclaw, there is nothing that I would want more, than to have my brother back,” Puddleheart started, focusing on the his task while he spoke. “I am wary though, I’m sure you can understand why,” he added, finally giving Marshclaw a glance. He paused again, looking him over.
Then, after a few moments, he relaxed a bit. “But, if you truly want to rekindle our relationship, I’d be happy to do the same,” he told him. Puddleheart was still a little unsure, even after he had confirmed he wanted that too. However, Marshclaw did seem genuine, and he had missed his brother. Maybe...maybe this would be a chance to help him as well, offer guidance as both a brother and a medicine cat. Yes, Puddleheart could do that. Marshclaw ➳ Puddleheart || Oceanclan Territory { 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 } Marsclaw slowly sat down and looked hopefully at the medicine cat as he waited for the tom to reply. It was like waiting for a piece of prey to jump in front of his claws- kind of excruciating. His amber eyes almost seemed to glow brighter and he dipped his head in respect towards his brother. "Of course I understand why... But, I- I've gained what I've wanted." Marshclaw replied before standing back up and making his way over to a log that had fallen a moon or so ago in the forest, during a large rain storm. The rain that currently fell was causing his thick fur to cling to his pelt as he hopped up onto the log, digging his claws into the wet bark.
"I'm glad, Puddleheart. It's been more than lonely without having my brother by my side. You know, if I was leader, you'd have a lot more power than you do now." He mewed softly before jumping off the log and onto the other side of it, gesturing for Puddleheart to follow. "Let's go chat by the water for a few minutes. It'll be better to get further away from camp to talk by ourselves- brother to brother."

Firepaw && Rowanstorm ➳ Beetlewhisker && Breezepaw { 𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 && Onyx } Firepaw felt his fur stand on end as soon as Breezepaw leaped on to the other bank of the stream. Blood roared in his ears as he got ready to jump into the stream just in case the black apprentice tom didn't make the jump completely. But, thankfully, his "friend"-- obviously he wanted Breezepaw as more than a friend-- made it safely to the other bank. With a loud, happy purr, Firepaw bounced foreword and nuzzled Breezepaw gently, licking his cheek. "I swear you did better than me! That was an amazing leap." He paused before curling himself around him. "But you're still wet and cold. I really hope you don't get sick." The flame colored tom mewed quickly after, carefully lapping his tongue over Breezepaw's still soaked fur. When his mentor offered to take the two out more often, his green eyes brightened. "Please? If Silverstorm says it's alright? I'd love to practice things with him more often. Oh, please, Beetlewhisker?"
Rowanstorm stepped back once the tom made it to the other side. He nodded carefully, purring deeply. "Ah, you did extremely well, Breezepaw. But, now is not the time to fond over each other." The solid ginger tom mewed, his blue eyes growing dark as the rain seemed to pick up. He tasted the air and shook out his fur before gesturing with his tail for the others to follow. "We came out to look for brambles, but if we keep standing by the stream bank, all the brambles will be soaked and sodden and no good to use for our dens." He added on, flicking his tail. Rowanstorm had more of a deputy like tone to him, much more than Marshclaw had, but the two were both tough and amazing warriors. Was Rowan salty about not being deputy? A little... But he tried his best. Leading the other three through the undergrowth, he spotted a group of brambles sheltered under the trees- it was dry, to their luck. "Here. Beetlewhisker and Firepaw, can you two dig it out? Breezepaw and I will try tugging it out of the dirt once we start seeing the roots." Rowanstorm offered, flicking his tail.
