this is what the plot would essentially be --

the former leader, who was on their last life, and deputy both passed in a battle with badgers. many other cats died as well, but a leader and deputy dying at the same time would be a large impact
cats are trying to figure out who will be the next leader since they have no deputy to take over that spot
this is where one of my cats, Maplelight, comes in
she wants to be the leader, wants power, to the point of going to drastic measures - she bullies the medicine cat to try and make them fake a sign from starclan to name her as leader, but when the medicine cat won't do it maplelight goes crazy
long story short, she somehow finds a way to mess with the moonpool in a way that breaks the connection to starclan because if she can't be leader, no cat can



the clan will probably have limited spots available in the beginning since i don't want it to be a large clan so o:

as for the reincarnation, i'll think about it O:

Might have doodled a beetle

It’s really bad compared to my normal work but I haven’t drawn in about 3 months ;-;

Beetlewhisker puffed out his chest in pride at his apprentice. The graceful leap and the very sure footed landing on the slick sand next to him made him purr. When Firepaw yowled his excitement in his year Beetlewhisker couldn't help but grin and laugh a bit. "Yes you did Firepaw!"
Watching his apprentice spin on his heels and turn towards Breezepaw made his smile turn softer and full of more care. The emotion and thoughtfulness his apprentice displayed always made Beetlewhisker feel proud of how his apprentice had come along. He wanted Firepaw to care about others and how he treated his best friend and "possible" crush. Beetlewhisker knew it was a crush and there was no doubt in his mind a love would blossom but still gave it pause in front of his apprentice, as the two hadn't announced feelings of that nature towards each other yet.
Turning his attention to Rowanstorm and nodded. He spoke lowly, as to not bother the apprentices with their chatter and possibly embarrass them, "I believe it's love myself. Thank you for the praise. He's an amazing apprentice and listens extremely well. He has boundless energy, but I'm the clan '****z' for how much my energy gets out of control, just... in a different manner. So I think I handle him fine. He's a quick learner with all of that pent up energy and is always eager to listen." His eyes slid back to the flame colored apprentice, "Though when it came to teaching him to hunt, at first that boundless energy was his downfall. Now he uses it to his advantage when stalking faster moving prey."
Watching Breezepaw's leap across moments after he was done speaking, he nodded his head at the fluffy black tom. "Great job Breezepaw! Though you seemed a bit anxious. Do you need a bit of extra help when it comes to mastering this? Even Firepaw didn't get it every time when we started and it's a bit hard to not slip. I can bring you out with Firepaw more often, if your mentor allows it, to teach you." He was proud of Breezepaw but would not let his anxiety slide when it came to the river. It could be dangerous if you weren't sure footed and it was best to go the other route if you couldn't complete the difficult jump. He wasn't putting Breezepaw down, but also didn't want his pride to get in the way of his safety either.
