Silverstorm nodded her head with a big toothy grin when she saw her mate's astonishment. It meant she truly had done a good job. She lay her head down over her paws and let out a sigh while looking around camp. "I'm so glad you agree. I know there are cats here who don't... and some who even lie to others to get there way... and that hurts. Why can't we all be like a big family? Why do we have to fight inside and hate each other when we all work so hard to keep each other alive? Shouldn't that be enough to respect each other?" She looked up at him with concerned eyes. She had a soft heart, truly. She was still somewhat young and didn't understand all the ways of the world yet and it still pained her to see others fight and not get along. The whole clan was her family. She truly adored everyone. Yes, she had favorites, but that didn't put others in a pit when it came to her affection.

tbh if smore wants to have puddle tell marsh once they get close again I’m down for it.
Idk how I’ll have marsh react just yet. But he might use it as another loophole threat- but we’ll see ))

> Currently, my fiance and I live at home with my mom and her husband.
We can't afford to move out because we don't make enough money to rent ANYTHING available out here and still pay our bills, so we give my mom 300$ a month for renting out my old bedroom because we didn't want to be unfair.
We also buy about 100$ a week in groceries to help out around the house. If they struggle meeting a bill, we chip in on that as well.
In addition to that, I am the one who cooks every meal for the entire house of 6 people. I do the dishes. I sweep and mop the floors. I clean the bathroom. I do the laundry. I vacuum all the carpets. I watch 6 out of the 10 dogs we have inside the house.
I currently do not have a job because I am trying to get on disability due to mental stuff and because the discs in my spine are degenerating.
We have a board for things the house needs. My fiance wrote "Mayo" on the board. We didn't get paid until today, he wrote it on the board on Tuesday or Wednesday. EVERYONE in this house uses Mayo for sandwiches or I use it when I make dinner sometimes.
Today there was a note written on the board that said "If you have money to buy it, DON'T WRITE IT ON THE BOARD"
It was from my step dad.
It seriously hurt my fiance's feelings because he has been putting in everything since I can't work. We are honestly at a loss.
He's also trying to force extra money out of my mother for bills even though she already gave him a thousand two weeks ago.
He's also been telling her that we are abusing her. That we are just sucking her dry for money and that we don't care about her or our family. That we don't care about her well being and that since we are adults we shouldn't be here.
He knows we don't make enough to survive anywhere else.
He tells me that I'm not actually sick. That even when I show him test results and images and xrays from my doctor's, that none of that matters and I should suck it up and be part of the 'real world'.

It's just... dumb tbh.

He has two children.
Two children which do not respect him.
Who call him by his first name and insult him on a daily basis.
Who do NOTHING around the house unless they are told to.
Children who disrespect me, even though I'm an adult, and talk to me like I'm below them.
One is 17 and he just recently bought her a car, even though she has no license, and it sits in our driveway growing weeds, while my fiance and I struggle to find a car and are forced to use his old truck, which leaks gas, has a broken speedometer, has the tire rod loose, that doesn't hold water in the engine so we have to replace it about three times a day, and that we lose if they ever choose to go hunting, even if we have things we need to get done, like take my dog to the vet - she needs allergy shots - or taking me to one of my many doctors appointments.
The other is 13. He is rude and confrontational and EXTREMELY picky about food. If I make something he doesn't like on the weeks he visits - since his dad has joint custody with this one's mother - I get in trouble. He doesn't eat : Cheese, chocolate, any veggies besides corn, tomatoes, most pasta, dark white meat, potatoes made in any form besides french fries or baked, any red meat besides porkchops or bacon, and I can get him to eat hamburger - if it's made into a taco. Another thing about this one, my ex gave me his xbox one. He told child that "When she isn't using it you're free to use it." And I told the kid, "Yeah. You can even keep it in your room for those times." That turned into "He said it's mine so I'm going to keep it and you can't have it." That turned into a battle because xbox one's are expensive. I finally contacted my ex and got a 'formal statement' from him that it was mine. But my step dad is confrontational and says the opposite even with the statement. I have seriously given up on it and have another one on lay away, because I'm tired of fighting with this child.
He also LOVES to be noisy. He jumps inside the house. He runs everywhere inside the house. He has basketballs that he CONSTANTLY BOUNCES INSIDE THE HOUSE AND THAT YOU CAN HEAR /ALWAYS/ and he never gets in trouble for it.

These two have dogs. Dogs that never get baths. Dogs that never get their nails done. Dogs that don't get water. Dogs that are so desperate for love, that when they are called by either of them, they HIDE BEHIND ME, cowering, until they come over and yank them away. These dogs are also never let outside, so they pee and poop in the house, and the children refuse to pick it up. It just sits there and soaks into the floor until someone else comes over and cleans it. These dogs also chew up EVERYTHING and whatever they chew up, is left for someone else to clean up.

These kids also leave their dishes in the sink full of food or drink and don't wash them out. If the dishwasher is open, they don't put anything in there ever.

I am just... No.
I'm tired of it. <

Silverstorm hummed at the attention from the grooming and relaxed her body out a bit. She let off a pleased sigh and just enjoyed her mate's affections. Her eyes closed and she mumbled out, "There's no point being greedy. We all live good lives here. Everyone should be happy. We have food to eat, warm nests to sleep, a clan to help the kits grow into fine warriors, a good medicine cat who treats us all well and with as much care as a mother would... We should all be content. Competition for power or recognition is all well and good... until it leads to others getting harmed. If you're willing to hurt others to get to the top... You don't deserve to be at the top... because who will you hurt next? How can we be sure you want to keep us all safe?" She sat up and looked at Robinfall dead in the eyes and spoke very softly so only the two of them could hear, "I would leave if a leader like that ever came to be. I wouldn't feel safe."
